Fake News from the Huffington Post: Leftwing Idiot and "Wise Latina" Justice Sonya Sotomayor Reportedly Travels Everywhere With a Medic

The Wise Latina, I'm sure, runs circles around her personal trainer, much like Ruth Bader Ginsberg did (pre-death).

Recent revelations about her health are giving them added anxiety. According to a recent report from HuffPost, Sotomayor travels with a medic -- something no other justice does.
"The revelation comes from newly released U.S. Marshals Service records obtained by the nonpartisan court watchdog Fix the Court, which requested information about security for current and former Supreme Court justices," the outlet reports. "And it amplifies questions that many only whisper about the long-term fitness of the oldest Democratic-appointed justice on the court."

In February 2018, a medic from Grand Junction, Colorado, accompanied Sotomayor on a trip she made to southern Florida, according to the records.
On a three-day book tour with stops in Illinois and Tennessee in October of that year, the Marshals Service incurred costs for "baggage (medic)," which could refer to medical personnel or be a more benign reference to medical equipment in the justice's luggage. Sotomayor was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes at age 7 and gives herself insulin shots multiple times a day.
Both trips occurred after a January 2018 episode in which paramedics treated her at her home for low blood sugar.
In 2021 and 2022, Sotomayor made at least four trips -- to Florida, New York and Puerto Rico -- in which the Marshals Service mentioned baggage containing "medical gear," or redacted a description of "baggage/medical supplies."

Well I think it's clear that Huffington Post is, as usual, making up crap to further their political agenda. It seems to me that "baggage (medic)" just refers to her insulin, which probably has to be stored in an iced bag. Sounds like it's just shorthand for "baggage (medical)."

No one calls a medic "baggage." Medics call Hillary Clinton baggage, but they're not themselves baggage.

I think I'll rename the GAINZZZ thread "POWERING THROUGH with Hillary and Ace."

So this is fake news, but it is interesting that the Huffington Post decided to push this fake news. They left is panicking about Biden's increasingly unlikely bid ~~for reelection~~ to be elected for the first time. They don't want another Ruth Bader Ginsburg situation, with an ailing leftwing Justice dying just in time for the Trump presidency.

Not that Sotomayor is healthy -- diabetes is a dangerous condition, and Karen Armstrong mentions that Sotomayor has had to call the medics to her apartment before. The last time we know about medics summoned to her home was in 2018.

Meanwhile, Joe Biden, who equally runs circles around his personal trainer (after his personal trainer has been savaged by his mistreated dogs), again showed what sarcastic people called "The Biden Wit."

Biden said he wanted to quote Lincoln, to show that our "better angels" can bring us together, then said "Wait, I want to get this quote exactly right" as he consulted the note cards his nurses and caregivers had carefully written in big letters.

He then got the quote exactly wrong.

As Biden told it: "And, you know, standing here in front of this portrait of the man behind me here, he -- he said -- and I want to make sure I get the quote exactly right. He said, 'The better angels --' he said, 'We must address counsel -- and adjust the better angels of our nature.' And we do the -- and we do well to remember what else he said. He said, 'We're not enemies, but we're friends." This is in the middle of -- this is in the -- in the part of the Civil War. He said, 'We're not enemies, but we're friends. We must not be enemies'."
Let's compare the actual Lincoln quote:

I am loath to close. We are not enemies, but friends. We must not be enemies. Though passion may have strained, it must not break our bonds of affection. The mystic chords of memory, stretching from every battle-field, and patriot grave, to every living heart and hearthstone, all over this broad land, will yet swell the chorus of the Union, when again touched, as surely they will be, by the better angels of our nature.

The mystic chords of memory -- did Biden trip over that? Did those words remind him that his brains are rotten?

Did Lincoln troll Biden from the grave?

He went on to surpass himself:

Don't believe me? My wife, who should know better, heard on ABC (yeah, that's right) that Alabama passed a law requiring women who used IVF keep every egg and keep trying regardless of viability - false. And they had to keep every egg that was inseminated - also false. Worse, that women could be forced to have IVF if they couldn't get pregnant - false again.

And yet my wife and daughter believed it...they argued with me that men were forcing women in the US to have babies against their will - ugh, I am all alone here.

I remember back int he day , police could draw ones blood if one was suspected of drinking under influence. Without ones consent. She was of the opinion that the police could not, and such a thing required a warrant. And wrote the majority opinion. She also advocated for privacy rights in our crazy digital age, and thinks that the so called third-party doctrine whereby an individual cannot have an expectation of privacy when they voluntarily release information to third parties, should be reevaluated.

My wife is a vax believer to the max...sad. She worked over 20 years at a NYC law firm and this is what I get.

My daughter thinks men are trying to get laws passed to force her to be pregnant against her will - I tell her only she can get pregnant if she chooses - otherwise it's a felony crime. She just looks at me with vacant eyes - sigh.

I like croquettes made with leftover risotto (made with Bolognese pasta sauce). Stick a piece of mozzarella in the center of each ball before frying. Heavenly.

The conventional wisdom was that Biden would die at that time for the same reason, but at this point I think ginning up love and get out the vote for him would be pretty difficult. So I think Jimmuh is a definite possibility.
