I'm not sure what Sony was even thinking with this. The movie was in development hell for 10+ years. It's a terrible story on its face that is guaranteed not to appeal to anyone, let alone comic book and superhero fans. From all accounts, the movie is cheap and phoned-in. The take a hot girl and make her as unappealing as possible. Then they don't so really release the turd in theaters, they basically sneak it in.

This is something the Wall Street Journal reported on nearly a year ago. The way they reported it is that Americore (a rural hospital network based down in Kentucky) actually had to file for bankruptcy BECAUSE of the $600,000 they passed on to James Biden (presumably for influence peddling to potential investors in the Middle East). James Biden was eventually ordered by the Court to repay $350,000 of that $600,000.

The US House committee sent a letter to Janet Yellen requesting documentation on this “influence peddling” which was promptly ignored. The $200,000 that found itself in Joe Biden’s account is a more recent revelation. However, it means naught since the DOJ (aka, the gate keeper) will not pursue this in any fashion.

After 8 years of development hell, where Sony probably paid something something in the seven figures with a rotation of writers, directors, and pre-production work, they decided that they simply needed to shit without wondering if they could just get off the pot.

We were at a BBQ restaurant in Memphis back in the 80s. We had a dozen or so people (family reunion, partial crowd) and were told they could seat us. The grumpy waitress is going around taking orders and snapped at a slow cousin. His dad, the patriarch of the bunch and the guy putting on the reunion at his home, calmly stood up and told everyone "Let's go, we're not doing business here" and we left. It was probably going to be $200 total plus a generous tip to that horrible woman because he was a great guy.

Done. Gone. All you've got to do is be decent, and if you can't then some people won't tolerate it.

When I was a kid of 10 or so, my Granny sent me to the chicken house to gather the eggs. Sometimes challenging as some of the hens didn't take shit from 10 year olds. However, this time there was an enormous chicken snake in one of the nests. I grabbed him by the tail to hold him until I could get some help, as the sumbitch was so strong I couldn't hold him long. While waiting for help I managed to pick up a stick and whomp the snake. There were lumps where he has swallowed eggs and I broke the shells. My Granny left some rotten eggs in the nests to encourage laying, and the snake has swollowed them. He would have gotten away, save he had to stop and puke up those rotten eggs. Help finally arrived with a hoe. Snake was 6 feet long sans noggin.

Boysenberry is a commercial hybrid of blackberry, it has a lot of raspberry genes in it, and has small thorns.
It was a major crop in Western Oregon, along with Marion Berry. There are more modern berries now, but a lot of people have Boysenberreis and Marion berries in their gardens.
