House Learns of Bank Account Used to Funnel Money to Joe Biden

Hmmm...

"In one of the interviews -- that we haven't, I don't believe, disclosed the transcript yet -- the witness made reference to an account we didn't know about. We're researching that account," Comer said in an interview on "Just the News, No Noise." "They also said that that account could have possibly been paid with some infusion from the grandchildren."

Comer pointed out that, if true, it would be highly usual.

"Now, I don't know about you. But I don't know anyone in the world whose grandchildren have ever deposited money into a savings account for their elderly grandfather," Comer said. "But now, maybe I'm wrong. But that's something we're certainly looking into."

Comer wouldn't disclose the identity of the informant supplying his committee with these juicy new details. However, a reliable congressional source collaborating with Democrats revealed that the information came from a longtime business associate of Hunter Biden who also occasionally accessed Joe Biden's financial accounts.

I can't think of the name, but doesn't that describe, exactly, the financial advisor (or was he an accountant?) who would service both Joe an Hunter Biden...? I know he's talked to Congress. Not Devon Archer, not Rob Walker...

Just the News just published a long recap of all the Hunter Biden's corrupt foreign "business" associates that we know that Joe Biden met with.

Let's see how CNN is covering this story:

Former Biden family business associate recycles unproven allegations to House panels

Ah. Of course. Carry on as usual.

Some bitch DA trying to make a name for herself thinks a loan Trump took (that he paid back) paid too little interest. And so she is trying to sue (with huge penalties) and have the state take that money. The bank even conceded they will often just take a 50% "bullshit margin" on a clients stated assets. It's up to them to do the due diligence.

Rising demand for beauty products driving donkeys towards extinction. About six million donkeys are slaughtered every year for their skins, from which collagen is extracted for use in food or drink supplements and in beauty products such as face creams used in Chinese medicine, which are marketed as luxury products.

China’s donkey population has been hit hard by the surge in popularity of such products, with populations there collapsing by 76 per cent between 1992 and 2019, according to The Donkey Sanctuary.

Dealers are now focused on Africa, which has long had the world’s highest donkey numbers, but where the species is facing a crisis, experts warn. Traders either persuade impoverished owners to sell their donkeys – or steal them in illegal bush slaughter.

Yesterday, it was Chinese donkeys. Today, it's African donkeys. Where were you when you had the chance to stop it before it came here?!?! It's like January 6th all over again!!!

Heh. The marketing for these will be interesting. It will have *nothing* to do with value. Value - a good price or better quality for the same price - does not sell things like diamonds. Value isn't the point.

The marketing is going to be moral/ethical/etc. "Natural diamonds are exploitative!..

I was *just* reading an article about fake diamonds and how awesome they are, and how the price that just happens to coincide exactly with real diamonds is justified because the fake diamonds are saving the earth even though they require massive amounts of energy to produce and shut up.

94 I find it intriguing that on the same day a democrat judge uses ludicrously low property valuations in a case where the defendant was not allowed to present a case, and finds him guilty of breaking a law that was specifically written ex post facto to charge him, we discover a bank account used to hide bribes that Biden received, and the DOJ is doing everything in their power to stop prosecution.

True enough. But your kids are more likely to pay that, and *they* would be the ones asking *their* kids for help if needed.

I am sure this kind of thing does happen, but I doubt it happens through cash transfers into bank accounts owned by the grandparents. It's much more likely in a case like that it would aggregate with one of the grandkids, or one of the kids, and then be paid directly to the home.

A New York judge on Friday handed Donald J. Trump a crushing defeat in his civil fraud case, finding the former president liable for conspiring to manipulate his net worth and ordering him to pay a penalty of more than $350 million that could wipe out his entire stockpile of cash.

The decision by Justice Arthur F. Engoron caps a chaotic, yearslong case in which New York’s attorney general put Mr. Trump’s fantastical claims of wealth on trial. With no jury, the power was in Justice Engoron’s hands alone, and he came down hard: The judge delivered a sweeping array of punishments that threatens the former president’s business empire as he simultaneously contends with four criminal prosecutions and seeks to regain the White House.

That is about the only way for him and his family to survive. They are literally forcing Trump to cross the Rubicon to protect himself and his family.

The Roman Senate did the same stupid thing to Julius Caesar way back when. Charles II did the same thing to Parliamentary leaders opposing him. Tyrants always pull that stunt for some reason. They build the scaffold used to hang themselves and force someone via desperation to hang them or be destroyed.

I think that companies that outright own their buildings are pushing harder for workers to return (Dolley has to go in 3 days a week, working for one of the Big 3 Banks, and I think they own the campus she goes to).

However, if you just rent the space? And your workers are at least reasonably close to the same levels of productivity WFH instead of in an office? Cut the rental cost from your budget and get everyone laptops, which they probably already have.

That would be true if this had anything to do with state law. It doesn't. This is all a part of the federal governments unrelenting attack on Trump. Not because they hate him personally, because what he represents.

Trump's foreign policy and his America First platform are a mortal threat to decades of a bi-partisan worldview that has spawned the most sophisticated and powerful regime change tools the world has ever seen. For years we ran them against foreign leaders we didn't like and it was supported on both sides of the aisle. Until Trump. And now those tools are pointed at him and us.

It will not surprise me in the least if this does not end up being the case.

The Party is monomaniacal. The symbol is Trump and they do hate and want him destroyed personally and totally, but they also hate dissidents of all stripes. Any rule that can be used to kick down subversives and rip out their spines is going to remain in place. Nothing else matters. No cost is too high and no consequence is too high if it means destroying their enemies. It is their sole ambition.

It's extremely difficult to break out of monomania, especially institutional monomania.

The State, the people defending Fani, just burned Bradley down by revealing he was accused of a sexual assault of one their employees and left the firm because of that and left $20K in an escrow account.

Previously Bradley testified that he left firm because he wanted to be a sole practitioner which was a flat out lie. 287 Paywall on Telegraph article, sorry about that. Here is key -

A state of anarcho-tyranny might, for instance, see career criminals like Jordan McSweeney free to walk the streets of London murdering women, mere days after being released from prison on licence, even while offensive limericks, online poetry and dogs trained to perform comical Nazi salutes are treated with the utmost seriousness by our criminal justice system.

The result is a disorientating combination of two different kinds of fear: a fear of rising violent crime, combined with a fear of arbitrary criminalisation, including the criminalisation of citizens who complain about what is being done to them by their governments.

Systems of anarcho-tyranny rely especially on laws that criminalise speech that would ordinarily be regarded merely as rude or controversial.

325 They don't care one iota.

FJB delivered remarks on the reported death of Aleksey Navalny, probably wore his Ukrainian tie and pin, and flew off to Pittsburgh, PA & then East Palestine, OH to deliver remarks more than a year after its hazardous materials disaster.

The White House Briefing Room dumped a load of Speeches & Remarks from Navalny's death to Equity to Harris' visits with many dignitaries at Munich (BTW Vice President Harris Rejects Isolationism, Authoritarianism, and Recent Attacks on NATO While Making Forceful Case for America’s Continued Global Leadership During Munich Security Conference).

Do they care about the 'prisoners' of January 6th? East Palestine, OH? Nope. But Federal Agency equity plans, yes, and they've been posted too.

They're amused. They're self-righteous. And a bunch have fled, and are fleeing, from Congress, and that's picking up even faster.

We should count how many aren't in on the Money Trains. A much smaller and quicker Congressional count, indeed.

It should be, and probably will be, challenged on exactly that point. At least I hope so but, just passing laws that I view as a bad economic tradeoff doesn't mean that they can't or shouldn't do it. It's the right of the voters to elect representatives that might raise the minimum wage to $50, for instance. It's dumb, but they can do it and I think they should if that's what they want. You either believe in representative government or you don't and part of representative government is allowing the polity to be wrong. Think of it as a cautionary example to the rest of the country.

333 Previously Bradley testified that he left firm because he wanted to be a sole practitioner which was a flat out lie.
Posted by: lost in space
--------
Bradley had previously stated outside of court that the affair began earlier in 2019 he believed. That is what the in court was about.

Ironically, this is an example where criminal attorneys in a case who are too aggressive can actually piss off a judge in a bench hearing. The judge does not weigh things the same way a jury does.

The issue is whether or not Bradley is credible and generally speaking if this was a jury trial, much of the Fani attorney questioning would probably be ruled out of bounds. So, the question is whether Bradley has animus or motive to lie in pre court statements about the affair beginning earlier. The lying about being fired is permissible game but it would have to be established as a behavioral pattern if outside of court proceedings like a perjury conviction. The collateral smear of an alleged sexual attack was something that in a jury trial would probably not be allowed.

Valid question and I go back and forth on it, and no doubt everyone's first reaction will be "they hate Trump, and they'll never come after me".

But then I remember all the big developers, Richard LeFrak being the latest I recall hearing about, are moving their businesses to Florida.

Once the proposition is established in law, NYS will not be able to resist going after more borrowers. Tax cases will start to use this as a tool. So while everyone may initially say "It's just Trump they want" I think, ultimately, it quickly spreads, and kills NYC financing markets.

Unless stopped.

The courts already take that into account which is the presumption that laws are constitutional and the plaintiff has the burden of proof to prove them unconstitutional.

Other than facial challenges to laws, then there are as applied challenges where an application of the law is used in a novel way to punish an individual but only that individual.

Then there are state constitutions and caselaw that can restrict what a state leg can and cannot do.

Representative government is merely the means in which the people's will is carried out in a republic which means that legislatures have to act within boundaries of law just as do other branches.

As I understand what happened is Bradley got blindsided with the sexual assault by the prosecution. That rattled him and when he responded to a State question about why the firm dissolved he confirmed everything which contradicted his previous testimony that the reason the firm broke up was covered by privilege. And just like that Judge questioned if Bradley understood privilege at all and had used it incorrectly to conceal (lie actually) everything he knew about Sweetdick and Fani and their obvious abuse of the DA office. It was a stunning: in a manner of a couple minutes Bradly got murdered and blew up the whole privilege charade.

341 he did not disclose anything , claiming blanket attorney client privilege, therefore my question
Posted by: runner
-------
He issued statements out of court before the hearing about the affair. That was what the counterproductive overkill was about.

He also though created a problem for the judge as the question of whether client privilege was waived or not does not depend on the GA bar but the courts for definition.

Wade's former partner was threatened before and in court is what this was about and they aimed to kill his credibility and future legal practice.

Stupid really because this is not a jury trial. Judges are allowed all sorts of evidentiary leeway to determine facts in a pretrial hearing that goes to whether Fani has a financial interest in the case or the appearance of it. The actual date doesn't matter but whether it occurred within the confines of the current case.

The judge does not have to go into the swamp of whether Fani is unethical or committed illegal acts simply that she has the appearance of financial interest in the case is enough to disqualify her.

She was already disqualified by another judge from prosecuting the Lt. Gov. of the state.

Posted by: whig at February 16, 2024 04:46 PM (9FrDg)

342 In that case, Fani gave campaign donation to his rival in the race and appeared at the rival's campaign event promising support.
-------
The bar for disqualification is not that high in a case as legal commentators seem to think in GA law.
