Israel Rescues Two Hostages in Rafah; Leftwing Propaganda Media Emphasizes the Number of Palestinians Killed in the Operation
Should they have left the hostages in the hands of terrorists, forever, AP?RAFAH, Gaza Strip (AP) -- Israeli forces rescued two hostages early Monday, storming a heavily guarded apartment in a densely packed town in the Gaza Strip as airstrikes carried out to cover the raid killed more than 60 Palestinians, including women and children. The rescue in Rafah briefly lifted the spirits of Israelis shaken by the plight of the dozens of hostages held by Hamas. The nation is still reeling from the militant group's cross-border raid last year that started the war. The overnight bombardment brought devastation in Rafah, which is packed with some 1.4 million people, most of whom fled their homes elsewhere in Gaza to escape fighting. Associated Press footage showed a large area of flattened houses, tattered tents and lines of bloodied bodies brought into nearby hospitals.LOL. Cite? Israel's offensive has killed more than 28,000 Palestinians in the territory, displaced over 80% of the population and set off a massive humanitarian crisis.
Oh, Gaza's Health Ministry says? The one that claimed that 900 people were killed by an "Israeli rocket" that "hit a hospital"? And who controls Gaza's Health Ministry, AP? Would that be... Hamas? Why is a "news" organization so determined to hide actual information from us?
Joe Federman, AP News Director for Israel, the Palestinian territories and Jordan, reports the hostage rescue took place in Rafah. More than 12,300 Palestinian children and young teens have been killed in the conflict, Gaza's Health Ministry said Monday. About 8,400 women were also among those killed. That means children and young teens make up about 43% of the dead, and women and minors together make up three quarters.
This is great: AP says they corrected the erroneous fake numbers they published earlier, to reflect the correct fake numbers that Hamas is pushing:

This story has been updated to correct that the number of minors killed is about 43% of the overall death toll in Gaza, not 47%.Israel also captured a senior Hamas terror commander.

The Hamas ministry oh so kindly provided the breakdown of the casualties at the request of the AP, without distinguishing whether those women and children were acting as combatants, but Israel has not provided actual evidence, no doubt to hide just how many bystanders they are deliberately catching in their crossfire.

As I grow older and (hopefully) a bit wiser I am thankful for the dropping of scales. Or the masks have dropped, it is really strange to watch and guess I have a front row seat. I get more confident, not less.
Things are overall getting worse, not better, but am very grateful to witness this, I guess. Everybody learns at their own pace I always say.
Let’s watch, and laugh, because you can’t tell these stupid motherfuckers anything, having jettisoned facts, logic, and reason. Young folks might mean well, but all this shit is intended to destroy a functioning society.

Hamas announced yesterday that 3 of the hostages had been killed by an Israeli bomb. I figure they're just pulling names off the list of hostages that they killed a month or more ago. I doubt there's more than 10 left alive. (a big reason, I believe, why Hamas will never listen to any terms that include the release of any more hostages)

the best way to deal with future threats is to deal very forcefully with the current threats. This has always been so; it shall always be so. And of course there are ways to deal with those future threats; unfortunately if those other places decide to launch a serious war than we'll be talking about deaths in the millions, not in the thousands, and if Iran goes nuclear we'll be talking about regional deaths in the tens of millions. So lets hope it doesn't go there.
and to repeat - the best way to deter that is to make sure that an aggressor knows without a doubt that you'll go nuclear if they do. And that none of his cities will survive.

They are two Argentine men who had been kidnapped last October 7 in the terrorist attack against Israel. Eleven Argentines have now been released and rescued, but six are still being held by the terrorist organization and one is confirmed dead.

You've just revealed your ignorance. They don't have to rely on the US. There's countries that are supplying Israel under the table because, well, their geld is worth the same as the any other country. Plus, it's rich in agriculture so they aren't starving.

Chicken is best with side dishes. I really like coleslaw and rice and gravy with my bird. You can also add jellied cranberry to give the meal a pucker flavor. But quickies don't come with grocery store baked chicken.

A lot of what we send them was diverted from what was going to go to Ukraine, plus dipping into Army stocks even farther. But I think they have their own factories unlike Ukraine these days.

Carpet bombing has always been a stunt. The first one at St. Lo did pretty good damage to the Germans, but took days to untangle the roads so that troops could advance and supplies could flow. Attacks nearer the coast without the raid broke through and moved on more smoothly.
