Judge Overseeing Fulton County Persecution: We're Going to Need a Full Evidentiary Hearing to Determine Just How Deep Darrius "Sweetdick" Honeycum Got All Up Into Fani's Finances

At the hearing, the judge announced that the affair was no longer merely "speculative," and said that if there's evidence of money flowing from Sweetdick to Fani, that "could result in disqualification," so they're going to have a full evidentiary hearing about money going back and forth.


Obviously, Fani wanted the judge to just say there could be no reason for disqualification and then deny the motion to disqualify.

One of the lawyers seeking disqualification pointed out that Sweetdick filed two affidavits, one denying there was any relationship with Willis, the second -- after his wife released records showing he'd paid for flights and cruises for Fani -- admitting it.

Remember, this is the lawyer prosecuting Trump. And he's perjured himself in civil litigation.

BREAKING: The lawyer attempting to subpoena Trump prosecutors Fani Willis and Nathan Wade highlights that Wade submitted two different sworn statements in separate courts regarding his inappropriate relationship with Willis.


In May 2023, Wade filed in divorce court that he didn't have any other relationships.

However, in a recent sworn affidavit filed in the Trump case, both Willis and Wade stated they had been in a relationship since 2022.

When accusations about their improper relationship surfaced, Wade amended his divorce court filing, citing the Fifth Amendment.

"We've got two declarations in two different courts, both sworn and filed with the court, that say something completely different," the lawyer stated.

"We've got a 2023 filing under oath by Mr. Wade, stating he didn't have a relationship."

"Then we've got a filing stating he did have one starting in 2022."

"And then, once that came about, he fixed the incorrect affidavit that was filed back in 2023."

"So, we definitely have a conflict judge."

Even the late admisssion of an affair appears itself to be a perjured statement. A lawyer for one of Trump's co-defendants notes that Fani Willis claims the affair began after she hired her Stud Service, while a witness says the affair began before Fani hired her Boo, and that the affair was an open secret around the office.

Ed Morrissey, quoting the New York Times:

In her new filing, Ashleigh Merchant [lawyer for the Trump RICO co-defendant] alleges that Fani Willis lied about the start of their romantic relationship. Willis told the court in her response a week ago that she and Nathan Wade did not start dating until after Willis hired Wade as a contract prosecutor. Merchant told the court that she has at least one witness who will testify otherwise -- and that Willis' claim isn't even close to the truth:


The defense lawyer, Ashleigh Merchant, said that a witness she hoped to put on the stand could testify that the romantic relationship between Fani T. Willis, the Fulton County district attorney, and the special prosecutor managing the Trump case, Nathan J. Wade, had begun before Ms. Willis hired Mr. Wade.

That would contradict Mr. Wade, who said in a recent affidavit that his relationship with Ms. Willis had not begun until 2022, after his hiring. The affidavit was attached to a court filing made by Ms. Willis.

Ms. Merchant identified the witness as Terrence Bradley, a lawyer who once worked in Mr. Wade's law firm and for a time served as Mr. Wade's divorce lawyer. "Bradley has non-privileged, personal knowledge that the romantic relationship between Wade and Willis began prior to Willis being sworn as the district attorney for Fulton County, Georgia in 2021," Ms. Merchant's filing, which came late Friday afternoon, states.

Morrissey points out that "non-privileged" is important there, because if Bradley found out about this only due to his work for Sweetdick as Sweetdick's lawyer, it would be protected by lawyer-client privilege. But if it was something he found out about outside of that arrangement, it can be heard in court as evidence.

Jonathan Turley points out that perjured statements can result in more than disqualification -- they can result in prosecution and jail.

Just like Fani and Sweetdick are seeking for several of Trump's co-defendants, in fact!

It appears that Fani Willis has failed to block a hearing into her alleged conflict of interest. Fulton County Superior Court Judge Scott McAfee is quoted as saying "Because I think it's possible that the facts alleged by the defendant could result in disqualification, I think an evidentiary hearing must occur to establish the record on those core allegations."

...Willis and Wade have more to fear than disqualification if they knowingly filed false statements with the Court. Indeed, they can look to their own case on how such filings can result in bar or criminal charges.

Of course, that won't happen -- a jury would never convict well-meaning public servants with "poor memory," so they don't have the intent necessary for the crime.

In the few weeks I've heard several different educated professionals refer to the word, "Nigga" as "the N-word." When did that happen? For at least three decades people said the "hard-r" N-word was the absolutely forbidden word (unless you're Joe Biden or a celebrated Hollywood actor.)

The "soft-a" N-word was considered the gauche, but non-racist term that was often repeated by black people and white people who steeped themselves in black culture.

All of this stuff that is coming out about Willis and Swwetdick were brought forward by one of the other people who was going to be tried with Ellis. She too a deal early to flip on Trump when she could have been part of this and gotten a clean win.
