Biden Attempted to Quell the Panic About His Galloping Dementia By Appearing In Public After His 5 PM Bedtime.
It Was a Disaster.
First of all, I am so, so sorry I did not put up at least an open thread for this. I was so tired yesterday -- I did not get up from my computer for a four hour period when news was breaking -- that when 7pm rolled around I just turned off the computer and napped. I published the Cafe from my phone.
I had no idea Biden had spoken until I woke up around 9:40.
This post is literally yesterday's news, but just in case you missed some of it, here's a recap. I'm going to be linking different points in a Black Conservative Perspective video I watched about this. Click on the link, listen to the part I'm talking about, and then come back for the next point. (It's a long video.)
Biden was told by his caregivers and nurses that the most devastating revelation in the report was that he could not remember the year that Beau Biden died, and could not even ballpark it in a
range of years.
So they trotted Biden out to lie:
He claimed he was so "angry" that he had been asked about the year of Beau Biden's death that he deliberately went silent as some kind of Internal Psychic Protest against the questions.
He claimed he thought "how dare you" in his head. He can't say he said this aloud, because of course there is a transcript, and he said no such thing.
He claims he thought, "It's none of your damn business."
The year your son died is "none of your damn business"? Is the year of your son's death a state secret?
And if so: Why aren't you keeping it "secure" wrapped in an old, oil-stained circa-1985 "No Fat Chicks" t-shirt in your garage?
You know who gets enraged when they can't remember the answers to simple questions?
People suffering from dementia and Alzheimer's. It's one of the classic signs of dementia. My dad had it.
The transcript, I'm sure, will also reveal that he did not go silent as some kind of stone-faced rebuke, but instead mumbled that he couldn't remember the year of Beau's death, and kept saying "I don't know" when asked if he could at least guess a range of years when it might have happened.
Biden made an enormous policy declaration to get him out of this meltdown: Biden has realized that he is so weak he cannot continue defying his young, brown, minority base by supporting the "colonizers" of Israel. He was barely supporting Israel as it was; now that this devastating report about his rapidly deteriorating faculties has dropped, he's decided he can no longer afford to fight the hard left.
He declared that Israel's response to
a mass slaughter, mass rape, and mass kidnapping terrorist attack "has been over-the-top."
Also, in the below clip, he says that al-Sisi is the president of Mexico, instead of Egypt.
Liberal spinners are
insisting that the real news coming out of this press conference isn't that Biden is mentally decrepit and mixed up Mexico and Egypt in a press conference intended to show how good his memory is, but that Biden is now taking Hamas' side in their terror war. First one black woman who worked on the Biden/Harris campaign in 2020 said the message "young people" would take away is that Biden is now anti-Israel, then
the next black woman on the panel agrees and says "What young people have been waiting to see is for him to take some kind of striking position on Israel and Gaza." She says that Biden calling Israel's response "over the top" and effectively demanding a ceasefire qualifies as the "striking" position that will play well among young progressive savages on "social media."
So there you go: It's okay that his brain is so rotted that he's not mentally competent enough to form the requisite mental state for a crime, because he's now shifting decisively to support the Hamas terror army.
This was planned. This wasn't an oopsie. Biden was sent out to announce that the US is now on the terrorists' side in the War on Terror, and word went out to all of his spinners to talk up what a wonderful, politically-astute move this is.
Biden started out with an obviously-scripted non-joke, in which he attempted to bat away Peter Doocy's question about his rapidly deteriorating memory by mumbling sarcastically,
"My memory's so bad I let you speak." Also note that this clip begins with a recent Biden statement that he's president of both "the red states" as well as "the
green states."
That's how strong his memory is: He forgot the color "blue."
Biden, of course, did remember to
lie. He always remembers that.
Even CNN is forced to debunk his lies, including his lie that all of his papers were kept in locked cabinets: We can see photos of these documents in falling-apart boxes strewn all over his messy garage.
He also lied about none of the information being marked "Top Secret" -- in fact, the Special Counsel says that he retained top secret documents, including private notes made about top secret briefings.
Finally, he lied and claimed that he "never" shared classified information with anyone, when in fact he shared classified information with Zwonitzer (the ghostwriter writing "Biden's" memoir).
Zwonitzer, as you probably remember, immediately deleted all of his digital audio recordings of Biden when the special counsel was appointed to look into Biden's handling of classified information. He corruptly destroyed evidence of Biden freely offering up top secret classified information to someone with no government clearance to receive it.
Here, again, a CNN hack has to admit it's just not true that he "never shared classified information" with anyone:
"It was willful. He knew. He talked about it!"
By the way, here's a nugget I just came across: Biden told that ghostwriter, in 2017, that he had just stumbled across the Afghanistan classified documents in his basement. Then he shared those with him to help him write "his memoir."
So in 2017, Biden realized -- if he'd forgotten -- that he had a ton of classified documents
about Afghanistan in his basement and, instead of turning them into the National Archives like he was supposed to -- and like Trump is being prosecuted for not doing -- he gave them to a civilian to help him write a bullshit "memoir."
Here are the classified documents Biden claims were "secured" and kept in "locked cabinets:"
a href="https://twitter.com/BillMelugin_/status/1755682945405526273">Does this appear "secure" to you?
Is this "locked in a filing cabinet"?
Which, by the way, is stupid; most filing cabinets are trivially easy to open without a key.
One more clip from Black Conservative Perspective: Even leftwing propaganda enemy-of-the-people outlet CNN was forced to admit that the DOJ has flooded the airwaves with photos of the boxes of Trump's documents, pushing the idea that because these documents were kept somewhat messily that proves that Trump was risking national security.
Well, then:
Biden has classified documents in a garage in beat-up, falling apart boxes next to an old dog bed and dusty golf clubs.
(A garage, he failed to point out, that was readily accessible by his crackhead addict foreign agent son.)
So: Why is Trump being prosecuted for "risking national security" by keeping his papers in a room whereas Biden is allowed to skate? The CNN liberal admits that this will serve as a central piece of evidence in Trump's inevitable motion to dismiss the charges on the basis of selective prosecution.
The Democrats are now claiming that only "six" classified documents were found in Biden's possession. They played a similar game with Hillary Clinton's illegal bathroom server full of state secrets.
The special counsel does not agree that Biden retained "only six" classified documents.
He says the number is more than 300.
Following the FBI's surprise raid on Mar-a-Lago, headlines blared that former President Trump had retained "more than 300 classified documents" after leaving the White House. In contrast, when news broke that Biden's attorneys had alerted the National Archives to the discovery of classified documents in a closet at a Washington, D.C., think tank, the accomplice media repeated claims by Biden's attorney that "'a small number of documents with classified markings' were discovered as Biden's personal attorneys were clearing out the offices of the Penn Biden Center."
A Biden lawyer would later report finding a few additional classified documents at the President's Delaware home, prompting the FBI to conduct a 12-plus-hour search of the residence. After the search, Biden's attorney issued a statement acknowledging the "DOJ took possession of materials it deemed within the scope of its inquiry, including six items consisting of documents with classification markings and surrounding materials." The DOJ also seized "for further view personally handwritten notes from the vice-presidential years," Biden's personal attorney announced at the time.
We now know, though, that the "six items" and the "personally handwritten notes" consisted of hundreds of top secret or classified documents, including notebooks filled with Joe Biden's summary of classified briefings. A quick count from the special counsel's appendix reveals the government recovered more than 300 pages of top-secret and classified documents. The FBI also seized a hard drive, but the appendix lacks any details on its contents.
The top-secret and classified documents, as well as many others marked confidential, were discovered at the Penn Biden Center, the University of Delaware, and Biden's Delaware home, including in his garage. According to the special counsel report, the material included notes from classified briefings that discussed "U.S. intelligence sources, methods ... capabilities," and activities, as well as the activities of foreign intelligence services. Other notes discussed "U.S. military programs and capabilities, foreign military programs and capabilities," and "plans and capabilities of foreign terrorist organizations."
Who you gonna believe, a lawyer in his prime, or the decrepit fool who can't remember when his fucking son died (or how he died)?
I saw someone else, maybe on Megyn Kelly, make the point that the DOJ criminals keep claiming that Trump should be prosecuted, because, unlike Biden, Trump refused to turn the documents back over.
But that charge would be for obstruction of justice, not for retaining classified documents. Both Trump and Biden retained classified documents. (Only Trump, having been president, had a colorable right under the Presidential Records Act to have those documents.)
Only one is being charged for this, though -- and when you ask why that is, the DOJ says "because he didn't give them back."
Again, that has nothing to do with retaining the documents in the first place. If anything, that is a refusal to comply with a legitimate subpoena (Press X to doubt on the "legitimate" part) and therefore, maybe, obstruction of justice.
They want to keep this charge, though, purely for the political impact: Trump kept classified documents! He allowed others to see them!
When it's pointed out that Biden did the same thing, they just say: Yeah but Biden, who did not have even an arguable right to keep these documents, did not argue that he had a right to keep these documents, whereas Trump, who did have a right to keep these documents, did argue he had a right to keep these documents.
They will have to drop this charge, I think. Or hope, at least.
Later I'll do a post on the leftwing media attempting to spin this.
End Wokeness
@EndWokeness
This was a hit.
They never let him out so late at night. They never let him take questions without a pre-approved list.
Especially not after a day like today.
They wanted this to happen. The decision has been made. They are replacing Biden. At this point, the only question is who?
