This is from a few days ago, but I just heard about it from Megyn Kelly.
People attempting to lobby the White House vie to appear on Morning Joe in the 7 o'clock hour, just so they can broadcast their message to one elderly demented easily-mesmerized codger.When White House aides appear on MSNBC's "Morning Joe," they're often booked between 7 and 7:40 a.m. ET. That's so they'll reach one crucial and loyal viewer: President Biden. Why it matters: Biden's years-long love of MSNBC's staple morning show affects how the White House runs -- and who Biden listens to. Zoom in: The president often calls co-host Joe Scarborough -- a former Republican congressman who's now a harsh critic of Donald Trump -- to get Scarborough's take on issues and sometimes vent about media coverage, according to people familiar with the relationship. During the day, Biden has long asked his staff whether they saw a story, a poll, or a segment that had been on the show. He's included show regulars in off-the-record conversations with policy experts. Biden doesn't "tune in" to anything. His brain takes him on decades long adventures, between the past and present, and when he's IN the present, he will momentarily lapse into Bidenspeak, which is why you can put him on camera for a few minutes at a time.
Otherwise, he's "thinking" about ice cream, and shitting himself, and touching small children in inappropriate ways.

The company I worked for had some ancient and apparently perpetual licensing discount from Microsoft if they agreed to play MSNBC in the workplace. The deal was signed back when MSNBC was new and the "MS" still meant "Microsoft." It was the only TV channel on public TV sets in the offices across the country. Lobbies, command centers (like where I worked), etc. Only the break room TV could be tuned to anything else.
This was particularly great because I worked the overnight shift, and MSNBC isn't (or at least wasn't) a 24-hour channel. They showed prison documentaries for the most part during the off-air period. I was in a high-security, windowless underground bunker with man traps and other serious access control measures - and they played 4-6 hours of prison documentaries per night.

Why would a supreme being creating champions to defend worlds pay so much attention to making sure that every race, sex and sexual orientation, ethnicity, skin color, and even a disability was represented? I doubt it has any effect on ad rates.
It's a "prestige" talking point, but the eyeballs are either there or they aren't. Advertisers don't care much about "prestige," they care about selling the product. That requires an audience.

Hmmm. I see what you're driving at, but still kind of doubt it. Much of the advertising on cable news is probably money laundering of some form to filter payoffs within the Party by using its propaganda complex as a conduit, but I doubt that Biden tuning in to Morning Joe is much of a factor in that.

In the second movie, IIRC they can be killed with shotguns like any normal animal. But regardless, they can be killed with guns. So of course nobody carries any. Thune is probably the banksta and financial services candidate just like Schumer as a lot of insurance and banks have operations in SD. Barasso lags behind in fundraising but has a better voting record than the other two.
