45 The only real benefits I see from AI is in assessing existing information.

For example, looking at sets of studies or notes and finding links and connections not seen before and drawing conclusions. For example, it could come up with new suspects in murder cases when it finds the same car/face in the areas the murders took place, finding links between studies that might combine to scientific breakthroughs.

AI is not nonsense, and while the videos might be horrific, the fact they exist at all is fantastic.

AI will not write code, it can barely get simple app requests right and even then the code might be lousy. If you can't trust AI to get everything correct, punctuation, grammar, in a simple fiction story, how can you expect it to get software right where every line has to be perfect.

"Perfect" is actually a reasonable term here, since the individual user can always say "I wish you were more" whatever and the AI will work with that rather than make you sleep on the couch.

I'm not saying that's good, but given a choice between getting what we want and not, a lot of guys are going to choose getting even if it's fake.

Also, Elon's sticking chips in people's brains to read already, and once someone figures out how to send convincing signals in the other direction, the porn video is going to become a relic of the past.

That's also not good on many levels.

"Perfect" is actually a reasonable term here, since the individual user can always say "I wish you were more" whatever and the AI will work with that rather than make you sleep on the couch.

I'm not saying that's good, but given a choice between getting what we want and not, a lot of guys are going to choose getting even if it's fake.

Also, Elon's sticking chips in people's brains to read already, and once someone figures out how to send convincing signals in the other direction, the porn video is going to become a relic of the past.

That's also not good on many levels.
