Sefton: sefton at cutjibnewsletter.com | Wednesday Morning Rant![]() What needs to happen is more comprehensive. We have to stop being such a juicy target. Make the juice not worth the squeeze. Some of this requires broad-spectrum, federal action. Those things are off the table. The feds should be enforcing "remain in Mexico" or an equivalent. The feds should be deporting people aggressively. The feds should be building a wall and securing the border. The feds should be cutting off so-called "sanctuary" cities and states. The feds should be restricting foreign aid to Latin America and imposing trade retribution until they knock it off. They should do these things and more, but they won't. The Federal Government despises the United States and her people. They want new people, so they're all-in on this colonization. But the feds are also not the only players. There are things that can be done at the state and local levels to make your place unappealing to illegal aliens. Where there are local laws that mandate services for illegals - like NYC's laws that they must be sheltered or CA's new laws that extend MediCal to them - agitate to get those laws repealed. The two places cited are dead letters already, but if you have similar rules or laws in your town, fight to have them changed. Lobby to pass laws explicitly forbidding services for illegal aliens. Without proof of citizenship or legal residence, don't allow enrollment into public schools. Do not issue them IDs. Do not provide multilingual government services. Agitate to pass laws mandating English only and defund ESL programs. Forbid the provision of any government service to illegal aliens. EMTALA is a Federal problem, but it doesn't need to be compounded locally. Do not extend any state benefits (including Medicaid) to anyone without proof of legal status. Forbid "housing assistance" for illegals, starting at the local level in your city or county. Demand that the local authorities go after those who employ illegal aliens. The feds won't be enforcing work rules, but the local and state authorities can. Do not turn over criminal aliens to ICE so they can be released back into the country, arrest and prosecute them and put them in prison if convicted. Turn them over to ICE once the sentence is served. The border problem is primarily federal, but there are no solutions there. What can improve your daily life and your average condition is ignoring the feds and their hatred, and pushing your local authorities to make where you live as miserable as possible for illegals. That doesn't solve the national problem, but it can help address the local problem. Throw up every obstacle you can think of. Some will fail in court, some will buckle under protests, some will succeed. Even when something passes but gets overturned or repealed under protest pressure, it sends a message to the illegals that they are not wanted in your town. Where you can and in any way you can, push your local authorities to make your area unappealing to illegal aliens.Comments(Jump to bottom of comments)1

I have seen some "independent" news reporters actually go to the border in Texas, and film this. If the Mainstream Asshole Media covered it like this, the country would be outraged. But....silence. Illegals running in, child and human trafficking for sex slaves (Biden and his cronies are in on this, making money), running drugs unimpeded over the border (democrats and republicans probably both getting paid off for this), and it goes on and on. When something awful like this goes on and on, it's probably because someone, or a lot of "someones" are making a lot of money off of it, and the government WANTS it to go on. That's my take. This is happening because a lot of people in our so-called government WANT it to continue. Posted by: A face in the crowd..... at January 17, 2024 11:14 AM (vcOmj) 64

Posted by: It like a free block party, open to the whole world at January 17, 2024 11:10 AM (9J0bc) ++++ EMTALA is a prime example of unintended consequences. The reason for EMTALA was to solve a corner-case problem, which was emergency transport to hospitals when the patient's insurance status or ability to pay could not be determined. In many areas, unknown patients (John Does, people without medical insurance cards, etc.) would be transported to the nearest charity or public hospital, not the nearest hospital. In some cases, this additional time to, for example, get across town to the Catholic hospital instead of the private hospital half a mile away could (and rarely but sometimes did) result in avoidable mortality. EMTALA was designed to fix that by mandating that hospitals *must* accept emergency patients no matter what, and get them stabilized before transferring them if they chose to initiate a patient transfer. It had fairly dramatic knock-on effects. Posted by: Joe Mannix (Not a cop!) at January 17, 2024 11:15 AM (C19Uv) 68

We have no idea what the extent of the damage was, so we were a bit upset with that news. The people in the waiting room told the nurse to give her their spot in line to hurry the process. Finally, a man said "That's BULLSHIT! Go across the street to the Urgent Care." So we did. They got her in immediately and started treatment. She had surgery and rods inserted 2 days later. I agree. Just wondering how it would be done. Shove them physically across the border and then secure the border militarily (fine by me) and with a finally built wall? I guess that it would have to be multi-pronged - deny all benefits except for emergencies. Any US cities crying about that can then have them shipped there no matter how many. Let Mexico know in no uncertain terms that any attempt by them to try and circumvent deportation will be seen as an act of war.

The State of Texas should TAX all remittances being wired to anywhere South of the Border, at the rate of 35%, and apply those funds directly to border protection, and offsetting some of the costs of having those illegals in our midst.
All banks in Texas have got to have a State Charter, and the money-store-fronts have to have something similar, although not "banks" as such. Texas License, Texas RULES. *pours coffee* Oh, and how 'bout this. Feds complain that ONLY they are authorized to enforce "Federal Law". Fine. See that CBP checkpoint station on our side of the bridge? The sprawling structure with security lanes and cameras and NCIC screening computers and all? THAT is YOUR Federal Checkpoint, feddie. The river is NOT. It is the State of Texas, and NOT YOURS. I'm thinking the above message would resonate, even with some LIV types? More and more we are seeing criminal acts being committed by the illegal invaders, on an individual basis. I am predicting a mass incident like we had in this area. A major riot occured at Fort Chaffee which was used to house Mariel boat lift people, many fresh from Fidel's jails. Locals around here still talk about it, and it was wild, with many of the Cubans carrying the violence into surrounding towns. Just about every Trooper in the AR State Police (nicest in the country until it's time not to be nice) was called in to quell it.

This is from 10 years ago, so the references are off, but it applies:
One sign of an imperial government is that it does what it wishes with whole populations. . .The motives behind moving whole populations via executive fiat break down into two main categories. One is to prevent revolution and unrest by moving and quarantining what are considered indigestible peoples in order to weaken their resistance to the powers that be. . . . But there is a second reason for moving people around, and that is to foster revolution by actively promoting unrest. The goal is to achieve “fundamental transformation” of a country by tearing down existing structures, replacing them with a new order of government. Every indication is that there is an intention to destroy the borders of our country along with the sovereignty of the states and cities into which the masses of people are being bused and flown to be herded into warehouses, military bases and other facilities. They will create the crisis that forces radical shifts in government priorities, and they will likely use civil rights-based justifications. http://tinyurl.com/42s59z6e Posted by: Lizzy at January 17, 2024 11:27 AM (NKqpy) Posted by: Nikki Haley - Trump losing one massively (D) county by one vote proves that he can't beat Biden at January 17, 2024 11:28 AM (+RC1q) 148

(seriously) This is Israel's problem with the Palestinians right now; people will say they should be sent to Egypt or Jordan, and both Egypt and Jordan have moved armor and troops to their borders and have stated, officially, that any attempt to do so will be considered an Act of War. (check out Egypt's massive barbed wire barrier at Rafah now) So no, I appreciate Trump's desire to deport them, but it's not possible, unless we're willing to start a war to do it. Having said that, it's not a bad plan to invade and seize control of the Mexican states bordering the US, and put them there. I've got $100 that says he was humanely catching them in a live animal trap and carrying them to a faraway park or wooded area so that they would stop destroying his siding, bird feeders, etc., and he started painting a tail because he recognized one or two that came back after he carried them far away and it's interesting to see the same squirrel come back from two to five miles away.

Military, nuclear, etc. Yet those places are deemed "vital" for one reason or another. Or considered so sensitive that death is the only possible deterrent. The whole country oughta' be treated that way to illegals. Start at the most restrictive point. You'll never get there, but once the conditionals have been met you may (may) have a viable immigration and border control policy. Do this rather than try to roll back our open borders. I read something interesting this morning. Maybe here, I can’t remember. The Constitution gives the Feds authority over naturalization. It doesn’t mention immigration. Well, the Feds are not naturalizing these invaders. There should be no legal barriers to the states deporting them.

If a business is caught employing multiple illegal aliens and they can't prove they verified the employees' right to work in the US, seize the business as a criminal enterprise under the RICO statutes and auction it off to cover the costs of ejecting the aliens back to their home country.
Do that a few times, and the jobs dry up. Deny any sort of gov't assistance to illegals other than to return home. 90% will self-deport. Wages for people who can legally work will rise as demand tightens the job market. Might cost more to get a new roof done, etc., but the benefits will be worth it, for everyone, in the long run. It is important to note that said account would be subject to legal Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) requests for public auditing. Trivial enough. But what does that have to do with the border situation? ZELLE is the key. It is a peer-to-peer payment service that allows individuals to send and receive money from each other via connected bank accounts.
The feds should have been enforcing immigration laws since the 1980s. But they have not. And they will not. Because they do not want to. THAT is the problem. I gave up on the GOP during the Amnesty push by Bush 43, Lindsey Gramnesty and John McCain in 2006. I had only been politically aware since 09/12/2001 and 5 years later the GOP had exposed themselves to me as frauds and criminals and liars. That was 18 years ago. Nothing has changed for the better and everything has just gotten exponentially worse. We are not a nation of laws. Probably have not ever been in my lifetime (1976). I was red-pilled on 09/11/2001. I have been black-pilled since December 2020. Posted by: Clyde Shelton at January 17, 2024 01:47 PM (UKWFA) 352
One thing that can be done is to deny those present in the territory in violation of immigration law incapable of achieving legal personhood, enter into legally binding agreements or contracts, which would include social contracts like marriage, or recognizing a child. Any illegal, giving birth, could find their local Family Services Department at the foot of the birthing bed to take possession of the child, while the birth-parents are summarily deported. Same with recognizing a child. No visa, no choice. You are simply not here legally to do that. Buying a car??? Or anything else... you will need a strawman.
