Hunter Biden Knew Exactly Who Was Buying His "Art" -- Putting Lie to the Claim That He Didn't Know His "Patrons," and Therefore Could Not Deliver Political Favors to His Donors
Hunter Taunts Congress

Surprise! Everything Hunter Biden and his corrupt rapist father tell you are lies.

Biden's Handlers had assure the public that Hunter's "art" sales (to politically-interested patrons) could not possibly result in political favoritism, because they were setting up a Special Secret System to keep the buyers anonymous. If Hunter and Joe Biden didn't even know who the buyers were, they couldn't deliver favors to them, right?

Unless the buyers just told them they bought the "art" and how much money they gave Hunter through the "sale," of course.

But don't worry about that last part, because the "art" dealer never bothered setting up this Special Secret System anyway, and apparently Biden's Handlers never pursued the scheme they claimed they were implementing.

Hunter Biden's Manhattan art dealer said Tuesday that he never worked with the White House on an ethics pact to ensure buyers would remain anonymous -- and added that the top purchasers were known to the first son, contrary to prior claims from President Biden's aides.

Georges Berges also revealed that in addition to the lack of supposed anti-corruption safeguards he actually met and spoke on the phone with the president while repping his son, the House Oversight Committee said in a readout of a closed-door deposition.

I'm sure they just talked about the weather. That's the go-to lie when Biden chats up Hunter's "business associates," right?

The art dealer testified that Hunter, 53, knew who bought about 70% of his art -- including Elizabeth Hirsh Naftali, who obtained works by the first son both before and after scoring a prestigious presidential appointment.

...

The high-stakes testimony came as the Oversight Committee spearheads an impeachment inquiry into whether the elder Biden was corruptly involved with his son and brother James's foreign ventures while vice president.

Hirsh Naftali, who scored repeated visits to the White House during the timeframe in question, inked a $42,000 sale in February 2021, before her appointment that July by Joe Biden to the Commission for the Preservation of America's Heritage Abroad, and then another for $52,000 in December 2022.

Berges also confirmed that the first son was aware that Hollywood lawyer Kevin Morris, who met Hunter at a political fundraiser in December 2019 before bankrolling his tax payments and living expenses, was his top patron, buying $875,000 worth of art in a January 2023 deal.

Oh, the Sugar Brother who "loaned" Hunter $2 million to pay the taxes he was avoiding then ponied up almost another million for Hunter's "artworks"?

If I didn't know better, I'd say that deep-pocketed Democrats seeking and receiving favors from Biden and his handlers are just bribing Joe Biden by handing huge sums of money to the talentless, worthless crackhead Hunter Biden, thereby paying for his legal bills and keeping him from having to sell his body as the ugliest, smelliest gay prostitute in DC.

More at the link.

Hunter Biden basically begged the House to instruct the Sergeant at Arms to place him under arrest by showing up for the hearing where the House Oversight Committee was debating contempt charges against him, while continuing to flout their subpoenas:

Manu Raju
@mkraju

Wild scene inside House Oversight.

Nancy Mace attacks Hunter Biden, who showed up at hearing.

"You are the epitome of White privilege. ... You have no balls. ... I think Hunter Biden should be arrested right here, right now and go to jail," she said

Andy Biggs scolds his colleagues to "not act like a bunch of nimrods."

The people without balls are the House Republicans. They have the power to instruct the Sergeant of Arms of the House to arrest people who defy their subpoenas. At least, that's what I read in college, in an essay which was, admittedly, a polemic. (The author insisted that the House could put Nixon into jail if he continued stonewalling on the White House tapes. Maybe he was wrong.)

Apparently this is a stunt -- the "Sugar Brother" who has already given Hunter Biden millions is spending even more money to produce a public relations propaganda film about poor, innocent Hunter, and this surprise appearance by the felon will of course be part of the trailer.

11 These are the actions of someone who feels like he is above the law, whose father is protecting him, and that Democrats in Congress keep making excuses for.

All while Republicans in Congress honestly just can't do much to him since they have to go through the DOJ.

It'd be cool if some AG in a red state put charges out, or something, though.

I will say that it does feel like the GOP is changing because the GOPe is actively limiting its own power in the caucus through retirements (essentially, once they hit the term limits on committee chairs, they bail) which has strengthened the right wing of the caucus at a level not seen since...Gingrich's rise to power?

All this is happening while GOPe megadonors are throwing tens and hundreds of millions of dollars to put one of their puppets in the presidential nomination and getting nowhere.

The GOP is in a long, achingly slow process of change. I'm not out of hope that, in time, the GOP can become an actual opposition party. It's not there now. It probably won't be after the next election. But...someday.

Yes, and they never will. Depending on my level of cynicism, I think there are two potential reasons for this:
1. That's not who we are, etc. They simply don't want to.
2. They're genuinely afraid of what would happen, primarily that they'd the defund an agency and then ... nothing would happen. The agencies would go on anyway, and the executive agencies would force the issue about how the government *actually* works. What happens if you defund (or even dissolve) an agency, but the agency doesn't go along with it? Nobody wants to be demonstrated as an empty shell.

Posted by: DOYLE at January 10, 2024 12:14 PM (Z8Yh2)

Possible answers:

1. I'm not.
2. You know how we always complain that shitheads like McConnell never get removed via primaries? It's because all the people who don't like what he's doing left the GOP and have no say until it comes the general and they're not prepared to embrace giving the seat to a Dem just to get rid of him.

This is the lie I remember being told in high school and college. Well, maybe it wasn't a lie. It might have just been an overpromise that certain levels of college education guaranteed levels of income over a lifetime.

I think they used numbers from the 50s to justify it.

Ninja stink bombs thrown to completely throw off and derail an argument when the logic and general consensus stops being in favor. Calling on Satan or forms of blasphemy is often used.

Let's see. I've been called a troll, stupid, a RINO, expressively wristed, etc. etc., and I'm the one throwing Ninja stink bombs?

Also, the general consensus is of no interest to me. I call 'em as I see 'em. You apparently believe consensus is the thing, so I guess you're a climate hysteric, right?

So the reasonable conclusion is that you got it from the MSM which was trumpeting it out and keeps bringing it back from time to time.

Notice dumping on Trump and supporters is what the MSM does and Conservative Media TM does when it wants an alternative candidate and that really does not do DeSantis any favors just as Cruz supporters pretty much generated enough ill will back in 2016 to doom future national contests. It also damn near derailed his 2018 re election.

Me, I don't really care between Trump or DeSantis as I think there is the cheat to fight nationwide and the possibility of an outright coup against either if the Dems have their way.

323 > If she can't find a job with a PhD in her pocket, she deserves to be homeless and eating her own feces.

PhDs are tricky in the job market. There are a lot of really useless PhDs. But even if you have a really good PhD, you're extremely specialized. So there might only be a few companies in the world who are doing something that would involve hiring someone with that particular PhD.

It's also possible for a PhD to go out of date very quickly. If the companies that specialize in that particular area decide your process or your idea or whatever costs too much or doesn't have enough benefit or doesn't hold the promise people once thought it did, you're done. Your life's work is now useless.

Sure you can find work with some company that generally values the research tools a PhD learns, but they might only pay a bit over minimum wage for a general researcher type position.

Frankly, it looks like DeSantis is probably withdrawing after losing in Iowa anyway as most of the establishment is moving to Nikki love now to stop Trump. Time has simply run out on DeSantis to change the vibe and Nikki is doing far better in NH. Cruz won the Iowa caucus with evangelicals in 2016 but they appear from polling to be backing Trump this time and they are the predominant voting bloc in the GOP caucuses.

457 In the past, graft was very much part of the political fabric. Schyler Colfax, an Indiana politician during the Civil War, was arguably one of the most corrupt members of Congress at that time and Lincoln reportedly could barely stand to be in the same room with the man, considering him representative of the worst elements in government. Colfax knew this and it shamed him, according to accounts written after both were dead.

But now? Now the corruption is so blatant, brazen even, out there for all to see, yet on it goes. They jump on the grift without either shame or self-awareness. For them, it's just business as usual. They rub our noses in it.

This can't go on.

All the turmoil in the Super Pac with removals, firings, etc. should have warned you about this outcome. DeSantis has real accomplishments as governor but his political team was and is apparently piss poor Cruz campaign staff that basically spent a gob of money to produce a declining share in primary votes.

Getting into spats with Trump is a rather stupid role for a candidate seeking to displace him. Perhaps it is because in 2016, Cruz try to draft behind Trump presumably to try to slingshot past him in later primaries and his former managers were not going to repeat that mistake. Instead, they chose to get into the mud with Trump which is a mistake because Trump likes it dirty in the mud.

It would have been a difficult race anyway but DeSantis tried to thread the needle which made him appear weak on important national issues such as his passionless statements over Trump being railroaded, the Mar a Lago raid, Ukraine aid, and so on. Even his abortive move illegals northward ended up far inferior to that of Abbott.

464 Interesting thing about Trumps business structure, he owns nearly all of the buildings debt free...retains control of the Parking, commercial space(rented/leased to independent restaurants, stores, shops, bars) "Some residential" in most buildings, but the rest is all held and run by other management companies, not him or his companies.
Parking revenues alone are in the Millions, parking is a BIG business particularly in NYC/DC/Chicago...Do the Dems demand lists of every single car that ever parked in/at a Trump property?
Their BIG claim is that he received $10's of Millions from a Chinese company that had a large amount of office space at Trump Tower, but had that space starting in 2008...then canceled their lease and moved out while Trump was still in office.
By the Way...both Tiffany's and NIKE's biggest stores are anchor clients in Trump Buildings...have been for decades. Should every pair of shoes sold, and every "Blue Box" ever gifted to a wife(or mistress) count as an emolument?
Trump also invited and donated the office space to Jesse Jackson's headquarters...last I heard JJ still uses it.(Racissssst!)

465 What idiot put Hunter in the first row of the meeting after he had defied a subpoena?!

They should have ignored him and refused to let him speak, and had the Sergeant at Arms cuff him if he caused a disturbance. They should have pointed out that showing up when you are not invited and causing a disturbance is yet another act of Contempt of Congress! Instead the fools let him flaunt his presence... fucking Stupid Party!

467 IIRC, the Commission for the Preservation of American Heritage Abroad is the commission Hunter's "business partner" Eric Schwerin was appointed to in 2025.

IIRC, it has a lot to do with sites important to Jewish people.
I think the people who get on this commission are expected to raise money to preserve/restore different sites. Makes sense that another wealthy Jewish person wanted to be on this particular presidential committee, kind of like how plumb ambassador jobs go to big donors.

468 Correction to previous comment:

Schwerin was appointed in 2015.

469 I find it hard to imagine a family more perverted, corrupt, and evil than the Bidens. If so I'd love to hear who they were and how they beat the Bidens.
