Israel Blows Up an Iranian Revolutionary Guards Terror Leader

Israel is believed responsible for an airstrike that took out an Austere Religious Scholar, as the Washington Post would say. Also known as a Revolutionary Guards terror commander.

Iran is warning Israel that it will "pay the price."

An Israeli airstrike in Syria took out a top Iranian commander Monday, prompting Iran to ominously warn Israel that it will "pay the price," according to Tehran's state media.
Seyed Razi Mousavi, an adviser in Iran's Revolutionary Guards who helped coordinate Tehran's ties with Syria, was killed by an Israeli missile in Sayyida Zeinab, a Damascus suburb not far from a Shiite shrine, IRNA, Iranian state media said.
Iran vowed to retaliate.
"This act is a sign of the Zionist regime's frustration and weakness in the region for which it will certainly pay the price," Iranian leader Ebrahim Raisi said, according to a Reuters translation.
Tehran described Mousavi as one of the most experienced Iranian officials in Syria.

Meanwhile, Biden finally ordered airstrikes against his "Partner In Peace" Iran after they critically injured yet another American and wounded two others.

President Biden ordered retaliatory airstrikes against Iranian-backed militia groups after three U.S. service members were wounded, one critically, in a Christmas Day drone attack in northern Iraq, the White House said Monday.

The administration has not responded to each attempted attack on American soldiers with military force, leading to criticism from Republicans.
What they're saying: "The Iranian-backed militia Kataib Hezbollah and affiliated groups, under an umbrella of Iranian-backed militants, claimed credit for the attack," National Security Council spokesperson Adrienne Watson said in a statement Monday.
After a briefing on the attack, Biden "directed strikes against three locations utilized by Kataib Hezbollah and affiliated groups focused specifically on unmanned aerial drone activities," Watson said.
"The United States will act at a time and in a manner of our choosing should these attacks continue," she concluded.

So many take a salary and then at year end issue a payroll with no net and the tax withheld to the gov't based on anticipated income.

Otherwise, they can cut a check but that is considered a distribution. Not a tax accountant but I believe the latter effects tax calculation if you sell the company.

I just like the idea of covertly seizing Iranian assets and using them against Iran. Start sending messages in Farsi broadcasting that the ship has decided to defect from Iran. Sow confusion. The IDF reveals a large Hamas tunnel network in northern Gaza’s Jabaliya camp, where the bodies of five Israeli hostages were recovered earlier this month.

The IDF had intelligence of two bodies of hostages being in the Jabaliya camp area, and located tunnel shafts during their scans. The shafts, investigated by troops, including the elite Yahalom combat engineering unit, revealed a massive tunnel network with two levels and an elevator heading down dozens of meters to a large hall and command center.

The IDF says the network had many branches used by Hamas to fight, including some tunnels going underneath a nearby school and hospital. One of the shafts led to the home of the former commander of Hamas’s northern Gaza brigade, Ahmed Ghandour, who was killed in an Israeli airstrike.

The entire network was around a square kilometer in size.

I had chickens for about 6 years, never a rooster. Don't want to listen to them ... and maybe they would deter some attacks, or just order a few extra hens. I do lose 2-4 chickens a year, not sure a rooster would have mattered. ... Might stop a hawk attack ... not sure. Won't stop coyotes or (I'd guess) bald eagles.

Convoys would work, but is much more expensive, in a just-in-time logistics world, than direct action against the launchers and leaders of the launchers.
