Woke Chicago Mayor Has Nasty Unconstitutional New Way to Keep Immigrants Out of Chicago

He won't call for Biden to just close the border.

But he will pass a bunch of illegal, unconstitutional laws restricting people's right to travel once inside of America, and then bring lawsuits against bu companies transporting Joe Biden's Army of Illegals from Texas to Chicago.

Mayor Brandon Johnson's administration has quietly begun filing lawsuits over what it has described as "rogue buses" transporting migrants, an escalation the mayor has coupled with an attempt to further crack down on the transportation companies.

The stepped-up enforcement is the Johnson administration's latest effort to address the influx of new arrivals, which has become one of the mayor's most vexing challenges. The care of more than 24,400 migrants who have arrived in Chicago since August 2022 has taken on heightened urgency as winter sets in, and tested the limits of how welcoming the city can be.

The city has filed 55 lawsuits since it implemented new rules about when and where buses can arrive in mid-November, the Law Department said. The lawsuits address 77 total buses accused of violating the rules, and public records show at least some cases are seeking fines against the bus companies.

Mayor's office spokesman Cassio Mendoza in a statement characterized "rogue, uncoordinated" buses as endangering the lives of newly arriving migrants, and said bus companies should be held accountable.

Chicago "continues to welcome asylum-seekers but the city cannot safely and efficiently shelter migrants when bus companies, contracted by the State of Texas, flagrantly violate all safety measures that the city has put in place," he said.

The city announced it would crack down on buses in mid-November, laying out rules for when and where buses could drop off migrants. Buses were capped at two per hour, and limited to drop-offs between 8 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.

The rules also require intercity buses to apply for approval from the city to drop off passengers. The Chicago Department of Transportation said it has not received any applications.

The mayor's office is now seeking the ability to impound buses that don't follow the rules and fine owners up to $3,000. Chicago police would write the citation, Jeffrey Levine, deputy corporation counsel for the city, told aldermen at a committee meeting Friday. The city could also cite companies by mail, if the bus information is captured on camera.

Texas and other red states must sue, and the federal courts must act ASAP to squash this, or else all blue cities will do this within a week, and Joe Biden will succeed in his goal of importing millions of new Democrat voters -- and trapping them in Red States.

It needs to be noted that the massive increase in illegal immigrants showing up to places like NYC and Chicago is only partially explained by the state-sponsored bussing.

Something like 5% of the new immigrants to NYC have been bussed. The rest just...showed up. They decided to go to the sanctuary cities that actively promote that they offer services to illegal immigrants. This doesn't mean that they're the only places that these people are going, but just that a significant number of them are simply going of their own volition, responding to the incentives that the sanctuary cities themselves have set up.

The reason it's such a big issue for places like NYC and Chicago now is simply because...there are so many illegal immigrants right now.

It will do nothing of the sort. Most of those aliens popping up in places like NYC and Chicago aren't being bused there by Abbot and DeSantis. Their busing strategy hasn't moved all that many people, but it sure has moved the Overton Window and put the border on the agenda across the land. They get assigned the blame for the crisis, but it doesn't matter because that which was never supposed to be discussed is now being discussed.

"Interstate commerce" is not some magic incantation that makes the illegal legal. It is illegal to traffic human beings, and so these actions are illegal. Doing it across state lines just makes it worse. There is no argument that local authorities cannot impound vehicles - or arrest persons - used to move drugs. Illegal activity cannot be hand-waved away with the Commerce Clause.

Chicago is perfectly within its rights to interdict illegal activity according to the risks presented. If Chicago were to forbid any intercity commercial travel, that would be a serious problem. That is not what this is. Buses must register and get approval so that their passengers and cargoes can be inspected. No problem.

The tarmac itself however is policed differently so long as jurisdiction and is under federal enforcement.

Every airport has different lines on it, part of my job requires knowing the dividing lines of where civilian foot traffic can and cannot go you cross it is a federal matter.

Also in Europe the men all go to very public place to pray. Parks, streets, ... it is all a way to intimidate and show dominance. But the carriages struck me as important since it is an admission that their policy is to out breed and take over.

1. I was struck back in the Iraq war, France revealed that their plan was to "lead" the muslim world. (Helter Skelter?) and that was why they refused US overflight. Did they understand that the West had already lost?

2. When Trump offered to buy Greenland, I suspected that he figured better to spend a couple trillion quick because the dollar was gonna crash soon. Did he know that our monetary system was already toast?

3. And not Europe is all-in on immigration and transformation. Is it because they are weak eurofags, or because they know the game is lost.
