Surprise! One of Hunter Biden's Shell Companies Made Direct Payments to Joe Biden's Bank Account

And this is one of the shell companies which was receiving money from China.

Jake Tapper will be all over this story, I just know it!!!!

Not only that, this wasn't just a one-time payment. You know -- a "loan repayment."

Hunter set up his account to make a monthly payoff to the Big Guy. You know -- how companies set up direct deposit with employees to pay their salaries for working there.

But nah, I'm sure this was just a string of "loan repayments."

Hunter Biden initiated direct monthly payments from his company to President Joe Biden's personal checking account in September 2018, according to bank records obtained by the House Oversight Committee and shared with the Washington Free Beacon.

The records are the most direct evidence to date that Joe Biden profited from his son's overseas business dealings. The company, Owasco PC, served a critical role in Hunter Biden's Chinese ventures, receiving nearly $5 million from the Chinese energy conglomerate CEFC in 2017 and 2018. Hunter Biden signed a document in early September 2018 authorizing Owasco to make monthly payments of $1,380 to Joe Biden's checking account, with the first payment landing in his father's account on Sept. 17, the records show.

...

"Payments from Hunter's business entity to Joe Biden are now part of a pattern revealing Joe Biden knew about, participated in, and benefited from his family's influence peddling schemes," House Oversight Committee chairman James Comer (R., Ky.) said Monday. "This wasn't a payment from Hunter Biden's personal account, but an account for his corporation that received payments from China and other shady corners of the world."

...

The White House did not return a request for comment.

Watch Karine Jean-Pierre quickly exit the briefing room when asked about this:

Hunter Biden continues insisting that he will only testify publicly. His strategy is obvious: He will deliver a 20 minute opening statement in which he recounts the pain he suffered smoking crack and banging Ukranian hookers, and whines about his persecution by the evil GOP, then he will invoke the Fifth Amendment -- without actually invoking it -- and get up and leave the room. He will dare the GOP to exercise its power to instruct the Sergeant of Arms of the Congress to arrest him and sit his ass down in the witness seat, and they will gutlessly back down.

As for how to invoke the Fifth without invoking the Fifth -- I think a Clinton-connected asshole did this. He invoked "any of his rights to not answer" without specifying he was invoking the Fifth Amendment's right against self-incrimination. "Any rights" includes that one.

Hunter's newest legal stunt was demanding he be allowed to subpoena Trump and former AG Bill Barr in the fake prosecution of his gun crimes and tax crimes by Very Special Counsel Jack Smith.

Even the leftwing partisan Democrat Jack Smith had to tell Hunter that a very firm "No."

Special Counsel David Weiss blasted Hunter Biden's recent request to subpoena former President Trump and other former officials in a court filing on Tuesday.

Weiss submitted the filing in Delaware federal court, arguing Biden's request "is meritless and should be denied." President Biden's son had requested subpoenas against Trump, former Attorney General Bill Barr and two other former Trump administration officials, arguing his gun crimes charge had originated in a vindictive Justice Department.

"Not only does defendant's motion fail to identify any actual evidence of bias, vindictiveness, or discriminatory intent on the Special Counsel's part, his arguments ignore an inconvenient truth: No charges were brought against defendant during the prior administration when the subpoena recipients actually held office in the Executive Branch," Weiss wrote.

"Instead, every charge in this matter was or will be brought during the current administration--one in which defendant's father, Joseph R. Biden, is the President of the United States and Merrick B. Garland is the Attorney General that was appointed by President Biden and who personally appointed the Special Counsel. Defendant has not shown, nor can he, how external statements by political opponents of President Biden improperly pressured him, his Attorney General, or the Special Counsel to pursue charges against the President's son," the filing continues.

Biden attorney Abbe Lowell had argued last month that the investigation into the president's son arose only due to "incessant, improper, and partisan pressure" during the Trump administration.

yes, I mean, he has a choice because Congress will flinch from employing its own enforcement mechanism. They will merely refer him to Hunter's Dad's DOJ to prosecute him for defying a subpoena, and Hunter's Dad's DOJ will let that referral sit without action.

The White House has stalled on releasing every single thing, so it's definitely been slow to get a hold of anything.

There's also the Andrew Breitbart effect: release a drip, wait for the media to come up with a nice bedtime story to convince the AWFLs that it's all above board, and then blow that out of the water with a new drip. Comey's intro in the video above definitely lays out that he knows that strategy.

I think sometimes we make the assumption that because we know what happened the entire country does and I think that is completely wrong. The average person hasn't got a clue about almost any of this and to the extent they do know something they believe the media spin.

Hunter isn't going to prison and Joe is not getting removed but there is still value in exposing as much of the corruption as possible and forcing the left to defend it. It appears the left is stuck with Joe for now so make him as unelectable as possible.

There's also the Andrew Breitbart effect: release a drip, wait for the media to come up with a nice bedtime story to convince the AWFLs that it's all above board, and then blow that out of the water with a new drip. Comey's intro in the video above definitely lays out that he knows that strategy.

92 Impeachment doesn't require a criminal conviction. It does, however, require a willingness to take it all the way, which I strongly doubt Republicans possess.

I can't shake the feeling GOP politicians at the national level like the status quo: they like being a minority party, they like being what amounts to a controlled opposition, and many if not most of them very much like the opportunities for graft and--like Dan Crenshaw--the privileges of their position that allow them to game the stock market and make millions.

For whatever reason, the GOP simply won't fight these people. They don't understand or refuse to understand what the Democrats are now.

Where was that money spent? Because if there's not receipts to justify hundreds of thousands in loan repayments, then it means the money must have been spent on items you don't get receipts for, so was Joe pay for Hunter's crack and human trafficking?

At least that much.

I've leant money without paperwork, but we're talking either small amounts (like under a thousand dollars) or "loans" that I knew damn well would never be paid back.

But if it's a significant sum, there's paperwork like a contract and a payment schedule. I've been fortunate enough to have been able to make some large loans to family members in the past, and those *always* came with a signed contract, terms and tracking. Real money has real requirements.

Posted by: Sen Fetterman at December 05, 2023 12:48

-------------

For those unaware (learned this lesson the hard way earlier this year), the reason you see full-sized and not those donut tire spares with AWD or 4WD vehicles is that if all four tires are not approximately the same size (degree of treadwear) -- you will eventually damage your transfer case.

So places like Costco Tires recommend buying four new tires if you have to replace one used tire -- or you can buy one new one and have it shaved by someone who does that.

Costco (and they should have known better, and I was ignorant of this fact) put a new tire on my AWD (unrepairable sidewall puncture) with the tread half-warn on the other three) -- and eventually I started hearing a noise that was the transmission; but a mechanic explained the cause and that the transfer case had been damaged.

I'm surprised how few people know this; virtually everybody I tell the story too is surprised to hear it as well.

Going by some of the private clubs in Santa Barbara, like Birnum Wood, the membership is about 300,000 for a full golf membership. AWD requires symmetry of tires, at least per axle. Fronts can be more worn than rears and it isn't great but isn't likely to blow up. Left-rear being quite different from right-rear (or equivalent combinations) are no good at all. It's also why tire rotation pattern is different for AWD (front-to-back, rather than corner swapping).

I got this lesson every time I put tires on an AWD vehicle. No tire shop didn't go over it. But that might have been because I was in CO, where both snow and AWD are extremely common.

It's the manufacturers. They chase CAFE MPG standards, and a can of fix a flat weighs a half a pound vs 40 lbs or whatever for a spare.

298 Yeah the awd tire thing isn’t well known. You’d think tire manufacturers would push some education since it means more sales for them.

But most people barely change the oil so not sure how many would buy 4 new tires if one needs to be replaced even if they know they should.
Posted by: Montec at December 05, 2023

On some of my cars years ago, I didn't rotate the tires but once every couple of years. Then tires started to get to be $$$. My Buick Regal came with four free oil changes and tire rotations, so I did that. The factory Michelins lasted well beyond the rated life of the tires. Now I have my tires swapped around every 6-12 months.

An annual membership could cost as much as $100K -

A partnership buy in with interest could come to ~$1300 a month - so yeah, I think Biden used it for this.

That it to a tire place and have them put it in a water bath. It's either something in the tread, the bead, or the valve stem.

Did you take the tire off the car and do the soapy water spray test? You may want to overinflate the tire a bit to make the leak easier to find.

numbers don't make sense to me. Memberships are almost always in round numbers...

$16560 for a year is an odd number... and I don't know about your family, but we don't charge each other interest if we're loaning money.

Plus, this is from a BUSINESS ACCOUNT, to a personal account, even when there is a Biden Family Trust that they all use.

Posted by: Romeo13 at December 05, 2023 01:20 PM (xaFKb)

329 Jack - its $1380 - so unless its a farily expensive car loan - or it's a 30 yr mortgage mo. payment for a sub 500K property - but more likely it's a country club membership payment - I suggest someone do some research into what CC memberships Hunter or James or Joe had at that time and see what the down payment with interest was plus their CC monthly fees...i'm guessing...$1380/mo.

No, sorry, national management groups run country clubs for the most part - they provide the financing for members who want to actually buy into partnerships - these are like mortgages, not monthly dues.

If you just want to join a CC for a year and check it out - then monthly CC dues plus a joining fee, I suppose, can be evenly spaced out. But actual buy-ins are an asset you can sell back to the CC - or to another approved member, and are not CC dues - they add to that.

333 Oh come on. That was the tell. Time after time Biden showed us how guilty he was. You don't have to be Cornpop to know that Joe Biden is a lying dog-face pony soldier. Everybody knew that when he said, "you ain't Black if you vote for Trump". No, the color of a person's skin is determined at conception, not by how you vote.
