A guy "wrestling his bear" in public, if you know what I'm saying.

Little cow threatens to charge like a bull.

The ladies of Lullingstone Castle play tennis in 1930.

Trees fall in unpredictable ways.

Bald eagle wrecks a fox to steal the rabbit it's caught.

The perfect art for Duncanthrax.

Transformer toys have evolved since the 80s.

Beautiful white moose.

Bird voguing.

Leopard in his hunting stand.

Baby donkey has the zoomies.

15 Actually when I was doing graphic novels and hated Art Spiegelman, for MAUS which I found patronizing, I bought a cassette of The Carl Stalling Project and that is going into the player.

I did not like Art because when I met him he was high as a kite on pills and dope, disrespected me, and his wife was a bitch. At a hotel lobby, which I spent a great deal of money to get to from US Midwest and this sack of shit seemed to think he'd done me a favor, when he built his entire literary career on his Holocaust survivor parents and pretty much nothing of himself.

Newsom announces efforts to sweep homeless encampments near state roads: ‘I’m fed up’
tinyurl.com/36ys5bzj
"We've got to move, people are counting on us," Newsom said on Monday. "The public has had it, they're fed up, I'm fed up, we're all fed up."
“Since day one, combatting homelessness has been a top priority. Encampments are not safe for the people living in them, or for community members around them. The state is giving locals hundreds of millions of dollars to move people into housing and clean up these persistent and dangerous encampments. And we are doing the same on state land, having removed 5,679 encampments since 2021.

Note: Closing encampments means moving "homeless" from the left side of the street to the right side of the street unless Newsom's political idol, Xi Jinping, is coming to visit Newsom's utopia aka San Francisco.

73 Musk may be rich but he is too dumb to realize that following the DeLorean model is incredibly stupid.

Musk says Cybertrucks will begin deliveries Thursday following manufacturing woes and delays
tinyurl.com/2wwjd53c
The vehicle has become infamous for the repeated delays it has experienced, as Tesla ran into obstacles implementing the stainless steel design. It was first unveiled in 2019 when it first began accepting preorders.
Despite still accepting preorders, Tesla removed the prices from its website. Prices originally ranged from $40,000 to $70,000
Aside from being one of the few electric trucks, the Cybertruck is particularly notable for its use of stainless steel for the hull. The material is far tougher and less malleable than cheaper alternatives, such as aluminum, leading to the auto industry mostly rejecting its use. The last company to use the material for a car was the DeLorean Motor Company more than four decades ago

Do not use them as an "on-off" switch to tune out background noise. Wear them all of the time and get used to it. There is a learning curve.

I actually saw this in the theater:

Maximum Overdrive is a 1986 American horror film written and directed by Stephen King.[5] The film stars Emilio Estevez, Pat Hingle, Laura Harrington, and Yeardley Smith. The screenplay was inspired by and loosely based on King's short story "Trucks", which was included in the author's first collection of short stories, Night Shift, and follows the events after all machines (including trucks, radios, arcade games, vending machines, etc.) become sentient when Earth crosses the tail of a comet, initiating a world-wide killing spree

Shoes?! Luxury! We had to chase down cats, stomp them to death, skin them with our teeth, and wear their pelts in the snow inside paper bags so nobody knew how poor we really were.

LUXURY!!

356 Charcoal in a holiday stocking was a luxury! Our socks had holes in them and the Christmas coal fell thru into the fireplace.

357 Anthracite or bituminous?
Posted by: Cicero (@cicero43) at November 28, 2023 09:43 PM (hiMh5)

That reminds me of the time back when I was a young tad, and Mom had the idea that we could save some money if we burned coal in the fireplace instead of burning firewood. So she bundled up me and two sisters (it was the dead of winter) and drove us to the local, non-functional RR station. She told us to dig up any loose chunks of coal around the RR tracks and that she'd come back later to pick us up. About 3 hours later, back she came. We had about four bushel baskets of coal - Bituminous and anthracite - ready to go. The "idea" only lasted one year. Then, I'm sure, it was something else.

Two pasteboard tubs discarded in our neighbor's trash we had to share amongst 3 kids! We had to jump into it with one foot then balance while the other held onto it and our foot froze.
We learned how to do it from huddling by the neighbor's window while they watched Road Runner cartoons.

375 In Article 1 section 8 of the Constitution the Congress is given the power to "Coin money". What does the term "Coin money" mean? It means to make physical money. Only congress may do this. It is not given to the executive branch to do any such thing. So Joe Biden can't legally force a Central Bank Digital Currency on us through an executive order. In addition, not even the Congress can do any such thing because a digital currency has no physical existence, and thus cannot be "Coined" as money.
