Monday Is the New Humpday Cafe

lavertezzo.jpg
Lavertezzo, Switzerland
by @michaelphotographych

Monday mood.

A pair of boobies.

Domo arigato, Mr. Reindeer.

Furring Line.

Flock of Seagulls Cat.

Seems set-up, but... I think the dog actually did this, so.

You've lost that lovin' feeling, Duck.

Mr. Helpy Helperton.

Cute little cow.

This dog breaks up a fight between... a tiger and a lion.

Rejected concept design from The Dark Crystal:

I highly recommend looking at the hilarious antics of Mr. FAFO, that Hamas crisis actor (if you can call him that) that appears in all these videos. The MSM will publish his shit as though its real.

Funniest one was him walking through, "screaming in horror" at the "carnage" around him. They had a young girl playing a role, covered in fake blood, screaming.

Scrolling through, they apparently did two takes of that one, and they had both takes side by side. Same girl, with blood on her face and neck.

And then a another man, supposedly dead covered in blood, which is so obviously fake it's a joke.

The diode was written up in sales literature as being virtually a UFO component -- and in fact it was one of the few practical applications (Bell Labs!) of post-modern theoretical physics. We trainees presumed Doktor Zener must have been a cat-killer at the Max-Planck-Institut.

Then the balloon could make a controlled descent.

Somewhere in my archives is a road map of West and East Germany, which my father used to get to Checkpoint Alpha in 1984. It had no warnings like that; in fact, it has a section on customs requirements for entering East Germany in English, French, and German.

One thing I like to do is to try and figure out how old the map I am looking at is. It's always fun to run into old maps with old countries like the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics.

196 Bill Burr is from Boston, right? I have yet to meet a native Bostonian who I didn't want to punch in the face, at some point. Even the ones I liked. My boss is from Boston. He's slightly too the right of Stalin and is loud and obnoxious. Can't stand him.

No offense to Boston Hordlings.

200 It's a very arcane mathematical curiosity. But who knows, after a while, that work may actually be useful. History is full of examples some arcane, advanced math that became useful long after disocovery.
Posted by: publius, Rascally Mr. Miley (Mzdiz)

There is a Veritasium episode on knot theory which did just that: transition from the arcane to the practical.

201 My only experience with Boston people was when the megabank I worked for acquired a Boston firm, and relocated their people to Denver.

Eventually, the top brass caved to popular demand, and segregated them on their own floor, where they couldn't pester the normies so much.
