Good morning, kids. "Happy Kristallnacht Day!" "Though 85 years have passed, Auschwitz is still a gas, gas gas!" You Lefties used to be able to get that card from the local Gaza Hallmark, but alas you can no longer find where the local Gaza Hallmark once stood. Don't fret. It's in the gift shop of Democrat National Committee headquarters. Huzzah! Your celebration is saved!

After Hamas’ Oct. 7 atrocities, we immediately thought no reasonable person could do anything but condemn the terrorist group in the strongest words possible.

And yet Congress’ progressive “Squad” has not only refused to condemn Hamas — its vile antisemitism threatens the Democratic Party, the United States and Israel, and its hateful rhetoric endangers millions of Jewish Americans.

The Squad’s pro-Hamas positions, which wholly contradict the values America and Israel cherish, are a growing political vulnerability for Democrats, and the time has come for Democrats to distance themselves from such hateful and dangerous policies.

Nine progressive Democrats voting against a bipartisan bill reaffirming America’s support for Israel against “the barbaric war launched by Hamas” shows how extreme the far left has become — and exposes the antisemitic rot at the heart of the Squad and the growing rift between it and the rest of the party.

Condemning a terrorist group that committed the greatest single massacre of Jews since the Holocaust should not be controversial. But progressives have a deep-seated hatred of Israel, with Squad members even threatening [so-called quote-unquote "president"] Biden politically if he does not acquiesce to their extreme demands. . .

. . . After the Oct. 7 attacks, Democrats can no longer afford to brush the Squad’s virulent antisemitism under the rug, lest they pay a steep electoral — and moral — price. Ultimately, as lifelong Democrats, we must say: Enough is enough. It’s time to fire the Squad. We implore the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee and outside PACs not to support offensive outliers whose positions contradict the core values of our party and our country. We implore voters to send them home. Their positions are deeply out of sync with mainstream Americans and will tarnish the entire Democratic Party if we allow them to remain under the Democrat banner.

Funny that I can't seem to recall Doug Schoen and Andrew Stein, long-time Democrat stalwarts, getting worked up to this extent on Election Day when some scumbag Democrat poll watcher in Virginia threatened his GOP opposite number. Or on open borders, the decriminalization of crime, the sexualization of children, the weaponization of our criminal justice system to persecute non-Leftists, the continued blood-libeling of half the country as white supremacists and the entire country as illegitimate and irredeemably racist, requiring "fundamental transformation."

Schoen and Stein are Jews, or at least were born of Jewish parents. I do not know what is in their heart. Perhaps they are truly appalled at what this "Squad" and its acolytes are openly espousing and supporting. On the other hand, the fact that they have remained silent (to the best of knowledge) on the litany of equally revolting outrages that have been pushed to greater or lesser extent by their entire party and inherent in its platform indicates that their alarm is not about the anti-Semitism but how the anti-Semitism will hurt the party in future elections. In fact, that is exactly the thrust of their editorial which you can read if you so desire.

The fact that all of these execrable, loathsome fiends even advanced within the party itself and were elected is proof of the abject ethical and moral bankruptcy of the Democrat Party. Seriously, where the hell were Schoen and Stein when the relationship between Barack Obama and Jeremiah Wright was exposed? I don't recall them withdrawing support from the former after his patently transparent and idiotic excuses of not knowing the latter's views despite sitting front row center in the pews of Wright's satanic temple for 20 years. In fact, Obama opened his cakehole just a few days ago to blame Israel and "all of us" for Hamas' butchery. No editorial from Schoen and Stein on that, was there?

Granted, 70 House Democrats voted for a competing statement [pdf] that expressed support for Israel as well as the ordinary citizens of Gaza while condemning the general use of the phrase “from the river to the sea,” admitting its real meaning is a call for the murder of every Israeli Jew. Note however that even this mild statement was opposed by two thirds of the Democratic Party caucus in the House.

Thus, elected House Democrats have once again proven that their party either supports genocide against Israel, or is willing to look the other way.

What must be recognized above all is the reason these elected officials now feel emboldened to take such vile positions: They know their voters support them, and that expressing support for anti-Semitism and Hamas will do them no harm at the polls.

This is the Democratic Party today, both at the top and the bottom, filled with proud bigots and anti-Semites. While there are certainly a lot of Democrat voters who would never publicly or personally support such evil, those voters are still willing to support politicians who do. The Democratic Party election victories in Virginia, Kentucky, and Ohio yesterday illustrate this. So do the closeness of many other elections where Republicans managed to win.

This continuing wide support for the Democratic Party suggests that its voters are either ignorant, foolish, dishonest about their real desires, or are outright bigots and anti-Semites. Nor does it matter which. They stand behind the evil that now controls the Democratic Party, and that support gives this increasingly dangerous and totalitarian party enough political strength to even back genocide and bigotry.

I also know that saying this will change nothing, as I have been documenting the growing malevolence within the Democratic Party for more than three decades, all to no avail. Even now I fully expect a large number of secular Jews to still vote Democrat. They will not listen. Their minds are closed. They hate Republicans so much that they are willing to endorse a party of genocide rather than switch parties.

Friend and friend of the blog Bob Zimmerman's observations stand in sharp contrast to Schoen's and Stein's. While in the main I do agree with the former, the elections in the states he highlights were essentially about different issues, primarily abortion. In fact there were a number interesting and heartening victories yesterday that got lost in the sauce of the propagandists gloating over KY and OH. (See here as well as here).

That aside, this Democrat Party is now bust-out, sex-changed-balls-to-the-wall openly anti-American. And anyone who stands in their way, as was demonstrated above in Virginia and a litany of places from coast to coast, can and will be crushed. Figuratively and literally:

Arlington Man has anger management issues, clearly, but his freak-out at the imaginary threat posed by his Republican neighbors is by design. He’s a model product of the Disinformation Industrial Complex, brainwashed and triggered by the hateful lies he’s been fed about the Jan. 6 Capitol riot and the nature of Republicans. He is why Democrats work so hard to preserve their dishonest “narrative” — and that requires censorship of dissenting views and suppression of contrary evidence, as well as seeding lies into the media. It’s why Hillary Clinton salivates about “deprogramming” her political opponents. She is projecting again.

Stoking rage has become the Democrats’ only electoral strategy, since the advent of Donald Trump. Judging by their consecutive successes turning red waves into blue ripples, including on Tuesday, it works. Despite being saddled with history’s oldest, feeblest, most incompetent, dishonest, venal, and unpopular president, Dems have managed to derange their voters into submission by bombarding them with hate propaganda branding Republicans “white supremacists,” “insurrectionists,” “domestic violent extremists” or “ultra-MAGA” and “semi-fascists,” as Joe Biden likes to call them.

Jan. 6 provides endless fodder for a demonization campaign, rivaled only by abortion. It’s a milder version of the dehumanization technique used by the Rwandan government against the Tutsi minority in the lead-up to the 1994 genocide, and that Hamas uses to poison Palestinian kids against Jews, with the horrific results we saw Oct. 7.

But when a political party stirs up rage and hatred against a class of people because of who they are or what they believe, social cohesion is impossible, and violence often is not too far behind.

We see it in the faces of the people ripping down posters of little Israeli hostages. It’s not rational. It’s cruel, and it’s not a natural part of the American psyche.

Unfortunately, the estimable Miranda Devine does not recognize that the brainwashing mills disguised as schools and universities have all but lobotomized the American psyche of the collective memory of what it truly means to be an American, our heritage, history and culture.

Switching gears, I'm not even going to go into the flaming clown-boner parade that was GOP Debate #3 last night. The low lights are below if you really care. As far as abortion is concerned, I will say this. If we don't get a handle on framing the debate, we're for sure going to get smoked next year. Obviously, it's a tough nut to crack given the fact that single women are frighteningly so overwhelmingly pro-Democrat -- almost to the exclusion of every other issue except abortion, the media will slime us 25/8 in all 57 states and schmucks like Lindsay Graham will actively sabotage reform/MAGA candidates by lying about "national abortion bans."

Do not misunderstand. Abortion is state-sanctioned murder for sure at a certain and probably early point in pregnancy. And there are other issues of individual responsibility and morality that the Leftists have utterly destroyed over the past 60 years since the rise of feminazism and the sexual revolution.

That said, many people are blaming the issue on our poor performance on Tuesday. Was it a factor? There's no denying it was. But from what I have seen, we had poor turnout from the base. We can play the blame game all we want but if we cannot even get it up to go to the polls to even vote on an issue, not even a nose-hold RINO candidate, then it's on us that we let them just get away with it.

Meh, I'm abortioned out already. Considering the freak show that is the Left, I'm on the list for retroactive abortion with all the rest of you.

They probably feel personally threatened (or they're doing the stupid yet very common thing of assuming, "this sucks, but *I* am okay because *my* friends and neighbors would never do this") and are concerned that other, less politically pure Jews might not support the Party in its radicalism on this topic. I have to call some BS here, JJ. Not that there was low turnout, but that this low turnout is entirely the fault of the voter. What turns voters into non-voters? Apathy or hopelessness, usually. What breeds apathy or hopelessness? The GOP.

The GOP gives nobody something to vote for. The GOP does nothing, offers nothing, supports nothing, inspires nothing. The GOP does not care about or actively hates its base, then bitches when the base doesn't turn out to deliver their sorry asses into sinecures. The problem of voter apathy is not generalized, it exists only on one "side:" the GOP's.

If it wants to win elections, it needs candidates and issues that its base wants, and it needs to mechanically function as a party. It has no "ground game." Where are the "voter guides," explainers, etc. in most elections? The Dems cover almost every election in the country, regardless of odds. The GOP doesn't bother.

Because it actually is decently good coffee (the place wouldn't be in business if it wasn't) but more importantly, it's always fresh and it's brought to you immediately either by a pleasant person or a no-nonsense battleaxe that's good at her job and embodies the diner waitress as a profession.

It's good, it's fresh, it's continuous, it's delivered, it's cheap and it's the glue that holds the diner together. A cup of steaming coffee at an American diner is *itself* a ritual, even before the food comes or you chat (or spar, depending) with the waitress.

I've actually discovered that while drinking coffee by itself, it tastes one way.

However, while eating, the food changes the flavor dynamic on the tongue for the coffee. So, if you're sitting there eating some eggs and bacon, then take a swallow of coffee at home, it tastes more like the coffee you get at your local joint.

Attack abortion as genocide against blacks and Hispanics. Attack abortion advocates as eugenicists. Regulate the hell out of abortion clinics. Work to provide alternatives to abortion.

Put opposition to abortion in cultural and not religious terms. Most Protestant denominations are full onboard with it anyway, so don't expect any support or help from them. But hammer away that it's wrong and everyone knows it's wrong, whatever euphemisms they put on it.

I won't. It will vary by locale, as it should. That's why Roe should have been overturned. My personal thoughts about abortion and pot are more than somewhat beside the point - this is what elections are *for* and when those elections are something approaching honest (and Ohio's usually are, especially since reforms), you find out. The Ohio GOP needs to figure out what to do next so as to come back and do better next year and appeal to its voters while maintaining aggressive policies on other core issues like immigration, economy, trade, schools, etc. If abortion is a loser in Ohio (or is a loser for now), back-burner it and go win on your other strengths.

Nashville has a big problem with gun theft from vehicles. About 1200 year to date. Mostly from unlocked vehicles from what I understand. So, stolen guns are easily obtainable on the street.

When it comes to abortion and marijuana, they too are all about money. Don't have rules to which they must abide such as maintaining accurate reporting data, SAFETY & cleanliness; don't limit licenses to certain businesses, etc. And don't hold that government (often including state governments) won't cover the transactions w/some portion of gov funded programs, grants. Many will.

What is not taught= the real history of programs including abortion. Nothing ticks me off like a 60 year old woman in a tv commercial telling fables.
