WTF is a lutefisk anyway? _________ Fish soaked in lye. "I tried lutefisk twice, once going down and once coming up." Posted by: Hadrian the Seventh at November 07, 2023 07:50 PM (MoZTd) 58
Lutefisk (Norwegian, pronounced [ˈlʉ̂ːtfɛsk] in Northern and parts of Central Norway, [ˈlʉ̂ːtəˌfɪsk] in Southern Norway; Swedish: lutfisk [ˈlʉ̂ːtfɪsk]; Finnish: lipeäkala [ˈlipeæˌkɑlɑ]; literally "lye fish") is dried whitefish. Usually cod is used, but ling and burbot are also used. It is made from aged stockfish (air-dried whitefish), or dried and salted cod, cured in lye. The fish adopts a gelatinous texture after being rehydrated for days prior to eating. You may now continue.

DeSantis proved it is all election fraud. When he cleaned up FL voting, Miami-Dade which was bluer than Chicago or NY, suddenly turned as Red as the rest of FL. There was no demographic shift to explain that. The only way it could happen is if it was never blue to start with, it was always election fraud that made it look blue. Ohio, which also cleaned up the fraud backed up that result.

She was dropped off in the middle of the village by a hire car, luggage and all. A villager approached her and after hearing her reason for being there took her to some of her relatives. She was treated as part of the family and celebrated by the entire village for the length of her visit.

Has never happened since at least 1950. The Dems have always been the minority party. If you sum up all their factions it is a minority. Blacks only vote if there is a black face on the ballot. Hispanics split slightly for the Ds. The rest are tiny fractions, college kids rarely vote, seriously the strongest area of actual Dem votes is in the KKK belt from Vidor TX through Mississippi. Its always been fraud, it can only be fraud. That is all they have, unless you actually believe people in PA are so stupid that not only did they elect a brain damaged tard to the Senate, but the voted in a dead man, who they knew was dead. Something on my ballot this year had me going WTF?
Instructions that if you accidentally filled in the wrong oval you could make a thick line and fill in the other oval (we get ballots in the mail so that will be the excuse for this 'cant disenfranchise folks who filled in the wrong oval') But talk about making it easy for any dishonest poll worker to change votes. Theoretically the state retains ballots in their ID envelopes and voters can demand to see their ballots later to make sure they match how they voted but ugh. So, Dems can basement campaign for President, Governor and Senate seats, but now Cameron supposedly didn't campaign enough resulting in underperforming other republicans by double digits.
I dunno. My problem is I don't really believe anything. My complete lack of trust in the system make me incapable of objectivity. Posted by: Inogame at November 07, 2023 08:40 PM (D/9Qo) 209
Dangit, not Zelda, Link will be a chick or tranny. Sorry.

56 I wonder if I can sneak into Norway and live off their government
Posted by: AlaBAMA ________ No, you'd be living off lutefisk. For breakfast, lunch and dinner. Posted by: Hadrian the Seventh No need to go all the way to Norway for that kinda life, don’tcha know? We got it right here, you bethca. Or, you can visit the Twin Cities and get knifed and raped for a more middle eastern/European experience! We're very cosmopolitan. I only disagree in that unmarried women is a large voting bloc for the Dems.
They don't vote either. They're largely irresponsible out partying and checking their Instagrams. None of the Democrat blocks are heavy voters with the exception of that KKK belt along I10 that I mentioned. Why would they only fraud up the KY gov race? Because they know that is the only one that matters in the state because of Mitch's impending demise. These are not your dad's Democrats, they're flat out Communists, and lie, cheat and steal is all they know. Give them zero credit for any kind of honesty. The Norway pic goes well with this morning's Art Thread pic.
Not all "boat scenes" need be idyllic, sun-washed, sandy-beach tropical paradises, to yet be entirely captivating studies of the working mariner's life and toils. I'd love to bring a 52' Irwin Ketch alongside that Norwegian quay, in exactly those conditions. I'd *not* love to crew a working seine net trawler offshore in exactly those conditions. The first would be the pride and pleasure of the accomplishment. The second would be the frigid awarness of having survived another watch on a freezing, sea-swept deck, knowing that the buzzer is going to rouse for the next watch, in as little as two hours time. Brrr! I'm gonna NEED that ONT Bourbon to warm me up, now! Jim Sunk New Dawn Galveston, TX Posted by: Jim at November 07, 2023 08:52 PM (e6UQI) 215
Soapy fish? Who would eat poison?
Posted by: AlaBAMA So your mother never threatened to or actually washed your mouth with soap? Posted by: Ciampino - Lifebuoy soap for the win Presumably, the washing out doesn't include swallowing the soap in toxic quantities. Though lutefisk is washed out, too. Lye-cured, but supposedly rinsed enough to get all the sodium hydroxide back out of it. I wonder if it's like fugu..... leave enough poison in that you notice, but not so much that it kills you. Not planning to consume either one, myself. Posted by: mikeski at November 07, 2023 08:54 PM (DgGvY) 216
