Everything is a lie, so it's impossible to tell. I don't know what to make of Epps. I doubt he was a mastermind. He looks to me like a provocateur embedded to make sure some people went in. There were probably others just like him, it's just that he has more video.

The problem isn't just the prosecutors. After all, you have to appoint somebody to replace them and get the replacements confirmed by the Senate. You need to completely gut the DC bureau and all of the political crime units. Replace them with the guys up in Alaska assigned to investigate mortgage fraud. They've been sidelined for a reason (either not smart or not willing to play ball with the Deep State). Either way, they'd be much more dogged in exposing the corruption in DC.

My mother passed last year and had everything set up in advance. The Neptune Society took care of everything with regards to her cremation. The Tarrant County ME's office didn't contact them for over a week that the body was released. I didn't get her ashes for another 10+ days.

Yes they can but a lot of civil mistrials involve jury problems. The NY judge issuing partial summary judgment in the case before the trial started is more likely to be reviewed skeptically by appellate courts. Summary judgments are a primary reason that trial court judges are reversed. Appellate court judges pay some deference to jury trial verdicts but less so on bench trials where the judge decides both questions of fact and law.

Big layoffs are possible. If that happens, there will likely be some forced selling in real estate, which has a strong chance of causing major price declines, at least in some markets. It will hit everywhere eventually, but the only thing keeping prices high right now is low inventory, and forced sales mean more inventory.
Price declines aren't actually a bad thing for many or most people, but it's a terrible thing for people who cashed out equity, bankers, real estate agents and local governments.

The wider angle shot shows a line of bored looking uniformed cops standing off to the side of the crowd. One of those cops reacted to something. Hard to say if it was the gunshot or the "oh shit". But he definitely swung his long arm towards the commotion, then lowered his gun and went back to looking bored.

Higher courts tend to quibble with that. That being said, never piss off your trial judge as a legal strategy. Far too many trial court judges have an ego problem and we would be better off returning federal courts to hearing important legal cases with panels of judges rather than a sole judge presiding. After the framing for a good long while, circuit judges including even Supreme Court judges had to literally ride the circuit to try cases.

This judge will make the mistake that all Whack ado lefty judges make - he'll either make the penalty so high as to make appeal worth it - or so low that appeal is worth it.
I have it on good counsel that to let the judge's completely insane and non-legal (even for NYS) proceedings to stand will not look good for his bosses - and yes, judges have bosses, as this one assuredly does, very much. But he's muggin' for the cameras and enjoying his 10 minutes of fame - which was what this was always about.
