Peak autumn in West Virginia
by @alberthbyang

Trying out different looks in the mirror.

I've heard of the chicken dance but now this is ridiculous!

A man picks a fallen baby sloth from the ground and hands it back to its mother. But the surprising thing comes after that.

The difference between cats and dogs.

Friends, playing.

A brand new deer.

Curious and friendly seal.

Dog wants to write his novel.

You put him in a headlock, I'll bite his weiner.

Cowdog.

Just a golden eating a banana.

Ninja licks.

Desktop garden.

Nice sunset in Istanbul.

Oh no! Dogs are making TikTok dance videos now!

When you play 3 card monty with your cat, but it turns out-- he's a cop!

My first weekend in New Hampshire back in the day, the foliage was as bright as the top picture. The hills looked like they were on fire with all the red, yellow, and orange leaves. Utterly beautiful and enchanting as you could see the white church steeples popping out of the foliage.

101 I'm watching the Brit World on Fire WW2 soap opera [and wokefest] right now and it's been revealed that a 2nd Lt. character is in the "Manchester Halberdiers" Regiment! I guess he couldn't cut the mustard to get into the Crossbow Regiment.

I know it's usual to make up fictitious regiments for fictional characters, as for Sharpe other than him starting in the real 95th Rifles, but at least use a realistic name.

I'm going to keep on watching it for any action scenes but all the home life soap opera sucks.

188 Monday I dodged being on a jury for a case of manslaughter using a firearm after consuming alcohol. The judge told us the trial would take about 2 weeks. I was No. 50 in a panel of 65 prospective jurors. They selected 12 plus 2 alternates before getting to my No. 50 position. Whew! In hindsight I shouldn't have worried. The accused is a woman and both sides scratched every man off the list and got an all-female jury. Gee, I wonder why both sides wanted that jury make-up?

I was surprised by the good experience I had taking a Park & Ride Bus from my faraway suburb to downtown Houston, and back again. Fast, using the freeway HOV lane. No hassles. At least one government activity works well in Houston and Harris County, TX.

189 I'm high-fiving/tapping out of the Jew stuff.
Had enough. I ended up here over Rona, which I will politely point out was enforced by... a Jewess in Boston whose synagogue still has a brag letter up. And who colluded with Randi Weingarten to trash American God-given rights. This sub-group of 'jews' can suck Gazan dick for all eternity for what they did.
Sanfranpsycho posted a thing the other day that haunts me, stating that one cannot separate Jews and 'jews' by polity and must, morally, support any claimant of Jewry/'jewry' no matter how morally reprehensible.
I decline to do this.
Marxaholism eventually exhausts the patience and moral tolerance like any addiction.
Any actual God-fearing Jew knows where to find me, it's not hard. If you need anything.

Why can't the UN do peacekeeping in Gaza after the Israelis exterminate Hamas and and collapse and fill-in their tunnels? Why do US troops need to be there? The damned Junta is up to no good, as always.

201 The trouble with giving money to Israel is, 15% of it doesn't end up in your reelection campaign.

202 That said, I learned today it's possible for cats to grow at/around 2 years old! The New Cat seemed... bigger, so she got wrestled around and measured, and no shit, she's bigger! She's longer, taller, and her head is bigger! It happened because she was wrestling her Big Ol Butt into a cardboard box she used to fit into and couldn't, and finally, The Kid asked, "Is she physically bigger?"
Sure enough! She is!
She's got... Wisconsin Safety Fat, but not so much as would preclude fitting into her old boxes, so yeah, she is physically larger. She grew.
Holy Shit I had no idea.

204 Defeat Omar in that district?

The money would be better spent in probably 260 other districts. Leave the other Squad members alone too.

On another topic, the Catholic Church and mainstream Protestant denominations both have a Bud Light problem. They're paying insufficient attention to their existing customer base.

Do they not see all the empty pews, or do they not care?

205 And 10X matching funds to Ukraine, right?

....
.

Close.

$44 billion for Ukraine.

So that's 4X MATCHING!!!

I also support this, because Putin is trying to conquer Europe. He's a madman hell-bent on total global control.

I am encouraging Little to join the military to fight these good causes. Also picking up extra shifts in hopes of increasing my tax contributions to these good causes.

My labor and progeny are small things to sacrifice to support global democracy and the best country evah.

206 Ilhan Omar is going to win by 20 points. Can we stop wasting our money on these runs against entrenched Dems? We don't need 435 seats. 235 would be enough to ignore the Kinzingers
Posted by: Wally at November 01, 2023 08:55 PM

Disagree. The Republicans should not let any seat be unopposed. Maybe not spend a lot of money on a given race, but sometimes strange things happen and you might pick up a seat.

210 The New Cat was reported as pregnant when dumped at the shelter and 'injured', no idea what that meant but the kittens were likely aborted, and the stress on her young body probably stunted her development.
Seems some breeds don't fully develop for 2+ years! And, can be regressive in genes. So, this New Cat The Kid picked out, was a kitten in her mind. She finally grew up and went, Oh! I have a house and shit. Cool! I will cuddle and such.
She's for-real physically, dimensionally, bigger than when adopted! I had no idea at all. We thought she was fully done, her body was not. Totally larger in all dimensions.

Posted by: LenNeal at November 01, 2023 09:52 PM (/BBNv)

211 The New Cat was trying to stuff her Big Ol Butt into a square cardboard box she fit into not that long ago and while watching The Kid realized The New Cat wasn't Wisconsin Safety Fat, she was genuinely physically bigger.
