The Long March Through The Institutions Is Over, And The Left Has Arrived At Their Destination
After another week of frenzied Jew-hatred on our nation's college campuses, the question should not be what to do about the people who hate Jews but what the reaction should be from people who don't. This week, a pro-Palestinian protest at Cooper Union, a college in New York, made its way inside the school buildings. Jewish students were barricaded in the library for their own protection and reportedly offered the opportunity to hide in an attic. The symbolism was clearly lost on the CU administration, which sent out a milquetoast statement after, noting: "There is no place at Cooper for hateful and violent language or actions." But there is a place for it. [emphasis mine]
Exactly. This isn't a bunch of kids being morons...this is institutional anti-Semitism and anti-Zionism that has been nurtured for 60 years, and is a far cry from the genteel social anti-Semitism of the Ivy league and other universities. Sure...Harvard kept Jews out, but at least they didn't advocate for genocide the way they do today. Jew-Hate is now mainstream on college campuses, and the administrators who mouth platitudes about free expression and spirit of inquiry and blah...blah...blah...believe in it. They are just better than their ignorant students at obfuscation. Just wait...there will be faculty meetings and "anti-racism initiatives," and mandatory programs for inclusiveness, and in a year nothing will have changed on campuses across America, except that the heirs to Hitler will have learned a bit more about how to navigate the funding labyrinth and how to sound benign and intellectual when interviewed. And all of that funding that is being withdrawn by angry millionaires? Yeah...$50 says it will resume after the blatantly mendacious mea culpas from the administrations. Who's going to take that bet?

It's not funny, and it's not particularly clever to point it out, but I think a simple explanation is to say humans haven't changed. Progressivism is and always was, a myth.
People are the same. When we were taught (those of us over 29) that the Salem witch trials were held by bigots and zealots, when we were taught "Never Again" about the Holocaust, when we were given over to the idea that humans have progressed beyond the days when we would persecute Copernicus for daring to claim the Earth revolved around the sun, we were being brainwashed.
The lies we were told, paved the way for newer generations that would be given the freedom (heh) to behave as savages, with all their prejudices and hatred worn in the open. And blood will flow from it. Because it always has. Human history is cyclical, progressivism is a lie.

Hilarious story out of California, indicating the current state of academia.
There was a protest at the Cal-USC football game, demanding the reinstatement of tenured professor Ivonne del Valle, who decided, without the slightest bit of evidence, that her computer was being "hacked" by a professor at UC Davis (about 50 miles away).
Professor del Valle was suspended in the fall of 2021 due to stalking and harassing Joshua Cover, an English and Comparative Literature professor at UC Davis, and violating subsequent orders not to contact him, according to KQED.
Professor del Valle admitted to the outlet that she did much of the behavior that is accused in the school’s investigative reports, including keying Clover’s car, vandalizing the area outside his apartment door, posting an image of his partner online, contacting his friends and writing messages including: “I raised a psychopath” outside of Clover’s mother’s house.
She teaches "colonialism", is the daughter of Mexican immigrants, and of course denounced the university for failing to investigating the "hacking" of an oppressed woman of color by a tenured white male.

Then after awhile, folks went to kollege to avoid hard work or the draft or to get out of mommy's house to get laid and do drugs and still get paid for having that sheep's foreskin diploma hanging on the wall.
Nowadays, kollege is a vote buying scam by the democrat party and it's main aim is to turn out loyal democrat voters from the taxpayer's chirruns and paid for on the taxpayer's dime.

It was - what? - almost 10 years ago there wre violent and destructive antifa riots over Ann Coulter, Milo V. and Ben Shapiro speaking on campus at Berley. Charles Murray and his sponsoring professors were shouted down, trapped, and then assaulted while fleeing -- and then followed to an off-campus restaurant and harassed again (IIRC) years ago. Comedians have been avoiding campuses for years because no one can take a joke. Riley Gaines was held hostage in a classroom while some in the mob plotted ways to get to her and kill her.
I'm glad these big donors are noticing just now - NOW that the masks have completely slipped off - that universities are dangerous, hateful places. I wish someone would ask them why they didn't pull out sooner, in the years leading up to this moment of clarity.

One of my best friends is Muslim… we met at work years and years ago and grew up together in our careers. He was never particularly religious but after marrying a more observant woman started regularly attending mosque and following the dietary rules (he used to have bacon on his hotdogs). Anyway, over the last 10-15 years we lived in different locations so kept in touch via text and the occasional lunch or dinner when he or I were in the same town. Great memories with this guy… our personalities always clicked and always lots of laughter. We never talked politics BTW.
But the recent atrocities by Hamas and it all the sudden dawned on me… my friend being a muslim chances are he’s just fine with what happened. The thought nauseates me…. It’s probably good we’re friends at a distance now; because if we talked about these things I suspect the friendship would end. Am I wrong for assuming? I’m certainly not going to ask him… maybe because I don’t want to hear the answer

How many Jews do these pro-Hamas collegians know? My guess is, very few as Jews. I no longer sense a pride in Jewish identity among most of the upper- and middle-class Jews. I suspect it's a Democratic party faction nowadays, not a religion.

I'm an old guy, living alone with no worries of a munchkin getting his or her's hand on a gun. I don't have any lock boxes but I am a believer in keeping guns hidden. I'm also a believer in keeping them ready. Every handgun I have is loaded along with the last shotgun. Now, looking back on the days with children, I would have to go back with two guns ready, one for me and one for the wife with appropriate back up ammo. The best lock box is a holster on your hip or in your pocket.

Back in the halcyon years of the 1990s (pre-9/11 and post Cold War) I had an interesting group of work friends… we called ourselves the FADC (Four Amigos Dining Club) which consisted of me (Baptist preacher’s kid), a Jewish friend of mine who organized it, the aforementioned Muslim guy, and a fellow of Japanese lineage whose parents were put in an intern camp here in the US by FDR during WWII. We rotated through each others homes for social get togethers. Simpler innocent times…. I used to think: Only in the US could a Christian, Muslim, Jew and atheist break bread together in friendship….

Interesting historical note about witch hunts in English history; a researcher made a dive into the data in order to determine how many actual people were recorded as being executed for witchcraft (usually by burning) in the entirety of English history. He was amazed to find that Over Half of all such killings , looking at a 1000 years of data, occurred between 1640 - 1650.

High Noon was supposedly an allegory about McCarthyism. I didn't see it that way at all; I saw it as an allegory about the US (as the sheriff) and the craven Europeans (as the craven townspeople) vs. the Soviets.
I think my perspective actually makes a lot more sense.

A prediction: In a couple of years Jews will not be harassed on elite college campuses. By then, elite colleges will be judenrein.
Only a truly idiotic Jewish family will send their kids to universities that host daily "kill the Jews" rallies. And the Jewish kids will not be interested in attending schools where they feel threatened.
Even the "progressive" Jewish students will get tired of the hate directed at them as the Jew haters won't discriminate. They hate us all.
The religious Jews will send their kids to Yeshiva University or Touro, and the rest will scramble to find conservative schools that offer safe haven.

For the most part, outside a lone crazy murderer or two, the apparent white supremacy groups have been nothing more than 10 people farting on a roadside while holding signs. Yet they're listed as the biggest domestic threat in the country.
But suddenly we see groups of thousands of well organized muslims marching through cities, calling for the extermination of an entire people, and law enforcement is silent, or at worse telling the victims to just go hide.
At this point you have to assume, based on lots of evidence, that law enforcement on a national level is in cahoots with one of those groups, considering they are screaming about committing violence without and consequences.
