Harvard Creates an Emergency Task Force... To Protect Its Precious Terrorist-Supporters and Antisemites from Reputational Damage

Harvard just announced the creation of an official "task force" -- not to help Jewish students facing calls for genocide from their fellow students, but to help the students *calling for genocide.* Harvard is beyond sick.

From the Harvard Crimson.

Harvard will establish a task force to support students experiencing doxxing, harassment, and online security issues following backlash against students allegedly affiliated with a statement that held Israel "entirely responsible" for violence in the Israel-Hamas conflict.

It's not doxxing. They signed a public statement.

They claim LibsofTikTok "doxxes" people with their posted statements and TikToks, too. No -- all she did was expose it to a wider audience than the Circle of Affirmation the poster was hoping for. That's not making private information public, which is what doxxing is. That's taking public information and sharing it with more of the public.

The new task force will be in operation until Nov. 3, at which point the task force will reassess its efforts to ensure that its work meets student needs, according to an email obtained by The Crimson. The message, dated Tuesday, was sent to doxxed students by Dean of Students Thomas Dunne.
"We are truly grateful for all the tremendous work that students have put forth in supporting each other through this most difficult time, and we appreciate the collaborative spirit in which students, faculty, and staff have come together to repel this repugnant assault on our community," Dunne wrote.

In the weeks that followed, students have faced doxxing attacks on websites, social media, and a billboard truck displaying group members' names and faces and describing them as "Harvard's Leading Antisemites."

Where do you think places like Mizzou get their tenure track professors in the soft subjects? Ditto with a lot of small private schools. The Ivy League is where and even if the PhD student did not go to the Ivy League, chances are that their dissertation advisor and committee members did.

Community colleges, truly religious colleges, and small state schools are often the least woke because a) the students by and large don't have the money nor the time to engage in woke shit and b) the professors spend all their time teaching and don't have the time much to engage in much woke shit. Also your choosy graduate programs don't like their students to get jobs there as it affects the 'brand' name of the prestige doctoral granting school.

Relatives are at Mizzou now. The most woke areas are the soft subjects and there is still a fair number of student activists going around making life miserable. Professor Squirrel, if you can catch him on the Sunday morning Book Thread has probably more ideas about other institutions in the state system of Missouri.

But, both Arkansas and Missouri have some fine small religious colleges but they are pretty pricey. Think College of Ozarks in Missouri has some work for tuition type options and that may also be true at some other places.

IDF has just finished a press conference showing that the KNOW (and provided proof) that the primary command bunker and communications center of Hamas is directly beneath Al Shifa Hospital in Gaza City, and this is where all the terror tunnels connect. They can't strike it because palestinians have been using the site (it's a large complex) to camp out on, since it's perceived to be safe from strikes, and the Israelis themselves have estimated that there are currently about 50,000 people either sleeping outdoors or in the buildings of the complex.

It's easy to say "just blow it up!" but think of how much furor there was when it was claimed that Israel killed 500 people in a hospital. 50,000?

Also Israel says Hamas has a large amount of fuel hidden underground, they're in no danger of running out anytime soon.

Totally true but a lot of it comes from the overhead required by the Fed gov which hampers a lot of ways to lower costs because it requires full time administrators to deal with issues coming up.

A few colleges refuse to accept any federal student aid or funding like Grove City in PA. They are generally cheaper and higher quality in teaching than other regional private schools.

Come to think about it, a nic, Professor T, I believe teaches at a small private school in Arkansas and he might have some guidance as to their scene. They also have an Ozark College as well as Lyons, Harding, and Ouachita Baptist that have a decent rep. Wokeness tends to decline as you go away from urban centers in general due to student populations and people willing to teach in such locations.

273 Mentioned this before, but when I was at Stanford 40 years ago (yikes, where does the time go?), a small group of trust fund babies & Leftists (BIRM) were parading with signs daily outside the Administration Quad and President's Office chanting "Hey, Hey -- Ho, Ho -- Western Civ has got to go!"

And sure enough, the requirement that all undergraduates take aone semester in a course on the history of Western Civilization in order to graduate, was eventually dropped.

Another small liberal arts college that I attended (Claremont McKenna College) back then was historically conservative, with most of their Econ faculty being acolytes of the Austrian School -- and where I was first turned onto Ayn Rand another such t thinkers. They recently gone #Woke over the past decade as well.

And although I could only attend either owing to financial aid, grants, scholarships, and part-time work-study ... needless to say, neither no longer gets a dime from me. They're dead, Jim!
