Grassley: The FBI Received "Criminal Information" from 40 Confidential Sources Informing On The Bidens; The DOJ Shut the Investigations Down
Flashback: Greg Kelly Claims a Tape Of Biden Soliciting Bribes Will be Released by Halloween
EXCLUSIVE: The FBI maintained more than 40 confidential human sources on various criminal matters related to the Biden family, including Joe Biden, dating back to his time as vice president, according to information obtained by Sen. Chuck Grassley, R-Iowa. The confidential human sources "provided criminal information to the FBI relating to Joe Biden, James Biden, and Hunter Biden." Those confidential human sources were managed by multiple FBI field offices across the nation, including the FBI's Seattle Field Office. But Grassley learned that an FBI task force within the Washington Field Office sought to, and in some cases, successfully, shut down reporting and information from those sources by falsely discrediting the information as foreign disinformation. That effort "caused investigative activity to cease." However, despite those efforts by the FBI task force, Grassley said in at least one instance, a confidential human source and its information had been vetted by multiple U.S. attorneys' offices, which found "no hits to known sources of Russian disinformation." The revelations were laid out in a letter Grassley wrote to Attorney General Merrick Garland and FBI Director Christopher Wray late Tuesday night. The letter was exclusively obtained by Fox News Digital. "Based on the information provided to my office over a period of years by multiple credible whistleblowers, there appears to be an effort within the Justice Department and FBI to shut down investigative activity relating to the Biden family," Grassley wrote to Garland and Wray. "Such decisions point to significant political bias infecting the decision-making of not only the Attorney General and FBI Director, but also line agents and prosecutors." Grassley said Americans need answers to an essential question: "Did the FBI investigate the information or shut it down?"
"That's a lot of taxpayer dollars implemented towards one target or one target set," former Trump advisor Kash Patel said on the "Just the News, No Noise" TV show. "Any national security prosecutor like myself will tell you that usually you have a couple or maybe a handful... but 40? That's the most I've ever heard of. That's more than in mob cases and RICO cases." The Iowa lawmaker further indicated that he had identified 25 Department of Justice and FBI personnel for interviews "who either had a direct or indirect role in the allegations" he mentioned. He further asked that Garland provide him with a litany of records on the Biden family.

The FBI hasn't been promoting and protecting Joe because he's a democrat. The FBI didn't rig the election and then the J6 distraction because Joe is the best man for the job and Trump said pussy.
We're watching the *exact* action that always occurs at the beginning of a shift to authoritarian control. There is coordination between a political party and the secret police to gain initial control, and then there is a struggle for power between the two groups to determine who is ultimately in charge. I'm guessing Russia paralleled this, although I don't know their history well enough to say for sure.
The FBI had kompromat on Biden gathered over more than a decade, and full control with that leverage. That was the entire point of all of their actions over the last few years and why it was so crucial to put him in office, and why he won by huge margins even though he couldn't fill a high school basketball gym.
And it could easily be tied to what Biden always mentions when he talks about "I was told not to" or other references to his bosses.
The FBI is running things. If you weren't sure before, it's out in the open now.

And likely our corporations, military, and every other major institution in this country.

And the dictator who replaces them might start off better, but it ends up coming with its own problems and corruption.

The only difference is that now we are important enough world wide to suck in foreign corruption of our politicians and that is what happens to empires before they fall. Foreign policy becomes the driver while domestic politics is ignored.
It takes often 100 years of so of hard work to rebuild public trust but it can be shattered in a generation.

At this point I don't see how any ousting of Biden helps Republicans. Everyone Kazmir he's corrupt, his poll nerdiness are crap, and everyone can see he's completely brain dead.
In the past it would be great, because the Democrats would be deemed a corrupt party, and voters would revolt, but today the media will find ways to again hide everything and protect the party.
Then replacing Biden will be Newsom, who will be able to act presidential, and who will woo all the older moron moderates who think he's just like Kennedy.
The only way that helps is if Republicans can use Gavin getting the nomination to smear Democrats as racist and sexist for not picking Kamala, hopefully getting some blacks to stay home in important areas.

So the trick would be to somehow refresh the government and the laws in a less painful fashion than is typical.

Not quite. The Founders supported border and tax enforcement because tariffs and excise taxes were used to fund government. Some limited federal policing such as the US Marshals was needed to protect specific functions like the Post Office and mail along with federal property. As the US expanded into territories, it needed federal enforcement in those areas because they were not states yet.

There was a time when the federal government had to go to the states to get money. Sort of like how the king had to go to the lords. This was the real check on federal power. The income tax and its subsequent amendment obliterated this basic check.

That was under the Articles of Confederation but it caused failure because the national government had the power to borrow and spend but not its own revenue. At the Framing of the current Constitution, the feds were given the power of excise taxes (sin taxes on booze at first) and tariffs (taxes on imports) to fund itself. Tariffs and excise taxes (along with land sale revenue) were the primary funding of the federal government until the income tax amendment was ratified just before WWI.

I don't think the FBI was exactly created through statute. Congress gave the AG power to appoint officials to detect and prosecute crimes (Title 28, U.S. Code, Section 533). Then they were given a bunch of police powers through statute.
