Grassley: The FBI Received "Criminal Information" from 40 Confidential Sources Informing On The Bidens; The DOJ Shut the Investigations Down
Flashback: Greg Kelly Claims a Tape Of Biden Soliciting Bribes Will be Released by Halloween

Hey everybody, keep on obeying the law like chumps while The Regime gets to break the law with impunity!

EXCLUSIVE: The FBI maintained more than 40 confidential human sources on various criminal matters related to the Biden family, including Joe Biden, dating back to his time as vice president, according to information obtained by Sen. Chuck Grassley, R-Iowa.

The confidential human sources "provided criminal information to the FBI relating to Joe Biden, James Biden, and Hunter Biden." Those confidential human sources were managed by multiple FBI field offices across the nation, including the FBI's Seattle Field Office.

But Grassley learned that an FBI task force within the Washington Field Office sought to, and in some cases, successfully, shut down reporting and information from those sources by falsely discrediting the information as foreign disinformation. That effort "caused investigative activity to cease."

However, despite those efforts by the FBI task force, Grassley said in at least one instance, a confidential human source and its information had been vetted by multiple U.S. attorneys' offices, which found "no hits to known sources of Russian disinformation."

The revelations were laid out in a letter Grassley wrote to Attorney General Merrick Garland and FBI Director Christopher Wray late Tuesday night. The letter was exclusively obtained by Fox News Digital.

"Based on the information provided to my office over a period of years by multiple credible whistleblowers, there appears to be an effort within the Justice Department and FBI to shut down investigative activity relating to the Biden family," Grassley wrote to Garland and Wray. "Such decisions point to significant political bias infecting the decision-making of not only the Attorney General and FBI Director, but also line agents and prosecutors."

He added: "Our Republic cannot survive such a political infection and you have an obligation to this country to clear the air."

More from John Solomon, including reaction from Kash Patel, the man who exposed Russiagate as a hoax:

The FBI received information about possible criminal activity involving the Biden family from more than 40 informants over an extended period of time, but most avenues of investigation were thwarted, Sen. Chuck Grassley, R-Iowa, revealed in a bombshell letter to Attorney General Merrick Garland, released Wednesday.

"This letter is based on years of investigation, including the provision of information, records, and allegations from multiple Justice Department whistleblowers that indicate there is - and has been - an effort among certain Justice Department and FBI officials to improperly delay and stop full and complete investigative activity into the Biden family, including but not limited to FD-1023s referencing the Biden family," Grassley wrote.

"This alleged political infection breaks faith with the American people, and it will ruin our governmental institutions should it continue. As just one initial example," he added, "I've been made aware that at one point in time the FBI maintained over 40 Confidential Human Sources that provided criminal information relating to Joe Biden, James Biden, and Hunter Biden."

Grassley said Americans need answers to an essential question: "Did the FBI investigate the information or shut it down?"

"That's a lot of taxpayer dollars implemented towards one target or one target set," former Trump advisor Kash Patel said on the "Just the News, No Noise" TV show. "Any national security prosecutor like myself will tell you that usually you have a couple or maybe a handful... but 40? That's the most I've ever heard of. That's more than in mob cases and RICO cases."

The Iowa lawmaker further indicated that he had identified 25 Department of Justice and FBI personnel for interviews "who either had a direct or indirect role in the allegations" he mentioned. He further asked that Garland provide him with a litany of records on the Biden family.

Some are claiming this information constitutes "the FBI's blackmail file" on Joe Biden, which they're now leaking.

Update: Greg Kelly has been reporting that he has it from sources that incontrovertible proof of Biden's corruption -- soliciting bribes on audio tape -- will be released by October 31st. He says this tape will be released to drive Biden out of the running for president. Skip to 20:00.

Another update:

Rep. Anna Paulina Luna
@RepLuna

@GOPoversight just found out Ranking Member Raskin LIED about the FBI's record on Joe Biden's bribery schemes.

Former U.S. Attorney Scott Brady CONFIRMED (contrary to Raskin's claims) that his team found enough credible evidence against the Bidens to recommend further investigative steps.

But top Congressional leaders, the FBI, & swaths of the federal government are working overtime to stonewall and cover up for the Biden Crime Family.

What a sham.

That's welcome news, but Bill Barr already debunked that. He said the Pittsburgh office was reviewing the information and reported it all seemed to check out. There was never an assessment that this was "Russian disinformation" or whatever like The Regime is peddling this week. Merrick Garland shut it down because he's filthily corrupt.

10 15 years.

Repost from JJ's thread:

The FBI hasn't been promoting and protecting Joe because he's a democrat. The FBI didn't rig the election and then the J6 distraction because Joe is the best man for the job and Trump said pussy.

We're watching the *exact* action that always occurs at the beginning of a shift to authoritarian control. There is coordination between a political party and the secret police to gain initial control, and then there is a struggle for power between the two groups to determine who is ultimately in charge. I'm guessing Russia paralleled this, although I don't know their history well enough to say for sure.

The FBI had kompromat on Biden gathered over more than a decade, and full control with that leverage. That was the entire point of all of their actions over the last few years and why it was so crucial to put him in office, and why he won by huge margins even though he couldn't fill a high school basketball gym.

And it could easily be tied to what Biden always mentions when he talks about "I was told not to" or other references to his bosses.

The FBI is running things. If you weren't sure before, it's out in the open now.

Remember when a bunch of FBI files were "found" in the White House. They fingerprinted those files and Hillary's fingerprints were literally all over them.

Those files included all the compromising information they gather on you when they're deciding whether or not to allow you to be FBI.

Decades later, the Clintons have obvious and overt influence over the FBI.

I don't think it's crazy talk to link Hillary Clinton reviewing kompromat on top FBI people to the FBI's obvious bias in favor of Democrats.

I have never seen Biden back down from accusations of anything. He's a fighter, a dumb one, but a fighter nonetheless.

He doesn't actually counter with anything except braggadocio, but still.

Kamala gave him a supposed killshot during a 2020 primary debate by calling him racist. It was an opening for the media to take him down, but he knew that as the only conceivably moderate in the race, he could simply outlast the accusation, losing little to none of his actual support from the primary electorate, and eventually the media would come around to defend him, which all happened.

He's now president of the United States. If he lasts until Iowa, the media will declare the debate over, any accusations of his wrongdoing old news and debunked, and time to move on. Biden needs to agree to move aside.

Unless they decide to take more extreme measures than bad press.

None dare call it treason
For if it be profitable
What is the reason?

Joe has not just been "bribed", he has actually committed treason. And....he's not the only one. You can name a succession of Senators, Congressmen, and Cabinet officers, and past politicians (cough, Obama, cough). Think about it. Who is jonesing more for a war, for war aid to Ukraine, Israel, etc.? It goes beyond making money from war industries. It is a fundamental betrayal of our values and our beliefs.
The border to Mexico is wide open because "those in power" (the real people) want to erase the United States.
It's like pulling a thread on a sweater. You pull it enough, and the whole thing comes unraveled.
And this is just what those in POWER know and will prevent. Joe will be dead or worse rather than "THEM" giving up the power and control which they seek.

Because that's what it appears to be.
Posted by: creeper at October 26, 2023 02:36 PM (cTCuP)

Blackmailing is often a strong word for it, but yes. It shouldn't be thought of as purely adversarial. Sending children to be hostages to a higher authority was not an indication of hostility but a guarantee of certain arrangements historically.

Marriage, corrupt deals where they both benefit, having various advantages over one another.

Obama was smart enough not to get his hands dirty on a lot of stuff--he got paid via booksales, public speeches, and various deals like Netflix.

I'd imagine the CIA told Obama during the Color Revolution that Joe and the Biden family were the CIA's cutouts in Ukraine after 2014 or so and so he ignored it. After all, the plan was that a compromised Hillary would become prezzie in 2016 and presumably squash any investigations into what the CIA and FBI along with State Dept did in Obama's second term.

Posted by: mrp at October 26, 2023 02:43 PM (rj6Yv)

Much of it, yes.

At the local level, it's a govt employee or a politician setting up a fake company to be awarded a contract for cleaning supplies for the schools or whatever. They bid $5 per bottle of cleaning product, buy it for $3 from someone else, and drop ship it to the schools.

Small peanuts, but it adds up over time. Especially when EVERYONE is doing it.

For a Senator or VP / President, it's just scaled up from there. And it's more subtle -- "I'll voice my support of [x] law that will benefit your company bigly. But you owe me a big favor when I'm out of office. Oh, and give my layabout nephew a $250,000 a year no show job in the meantime. As a sign of good faith."

Yeah, but the problem is that there is no way to fix this kind of entrenched corruption. Normal people get frustrated by it, and eventually they get rid of the whole idea of self governing.

And the dictator who replaces them might start off better, but it ends up coming with its own problems and corruption.

Most of the West are examples if you extend the historical period long enough. Politics in the US have had periods of vast corruption and then remedied. The only difference is that now we are important enough world wide to suck in foreign corruption of our politicians and that is what happens to empires before they fall. Foreign policy becomes the driver while domestic politics is ignored.

It takes often 100 years of so of hard work to rebuild public trust but it can be shattered in a generation.

In the past it would be great, because the Democrats would be deemed a corrupt party, and voters would revolt, but today the media will find ways to again hide everything and protect the party.

Then replacing Biden will be Newsom, who will be able to act presidential, and who will woo all the older moron moderates who think he's just like Kennedy.

The only way that helps is if Republicans can use Gavin getting the nomination to smear Democrats as racist and sexist for not picking Kamala, hopefully getting some blacks to stay home in important areas.

So the trick would be to somehow refresh the government and the laws in a less painful fashion than is typical.

Not quite. The Founders supported border and tax enforcement because tariffs and excise taxes were used to fund government. Some limited federal policing such as the US Marshals was needed to protect specific functions like the Post Office and mail along with federal property. As the US expanded into territories, it needed federal enforcement in those areas because they were not states yet.

But you are quite right that the Framers never envisaged centralization of government that has existed since WWI and then the New Deal.

I don't think the FBI was exactly created through statute. Congress gave the AG power to appoint officials to detect and prosecute crimes (Title 28, U.S. Code, Section 533). Then they were given a bunch of police powers through statute.

I don't think he was a nihilist. I think he was just deeply, deeply suspicious of people who held political power, especially those that relies on populist argument.

He's one of those people who let Nixon's Watergate stuff break him mentally.

I'm also fairly sure that he'd back down on his beliefs and would have been a wholehearted supporter of Obama had he lived long enough because he was really only opposed to the wrong people having power. I've seen it too much to believe otherwise.

311 There was a time when the federal government had to go to the states to get money. Sort of like how the king had to go to the lords. This was the real check on federal power. The income tax and its subsequent amendment obliterated this basic check.

Posted by: SH
---------
That was under the Articles of Confederation but it caused failure because the national government had the power to borrow and spend but not its own revenue. At the Framing of the current Constitution, the feds were given the power of excise taxes (sin taxes on booze at first) and tariffs (taxes on imports) to fund itself. Tariffs and excise taxes (along with land sale revenue) were the primary funding of the federal government until the income tax amendment was ratified just before WWI.

Disagree. All you're doing is repeating Barky's misguided trope of, "You've made enough money".

You hate corruption but you endorse government confiscating private property (money, in this case). That's a recipe for much more corruption.

Indirect taxes provided limited funds. The Constitution gave Congress the power to get more taxes directly, but because of the apportionment requirement, it basically limited Congress ability to collect.
