I don't think this dog really understands the words he's producing by stepping on electronic buttons, but he's a Very Good Boy anyway.

I've linked this bear tidying up before, but it's neat. This makes me wonder if all creatures with half a brain have an inherent sense of, and desire for, orderliness. (Except for the lunatic leftists, of course, who actively promote chaos, violence, misery, and terror -- though they too are seeking to make the world accord with the (disordered) mental image of what the world should be that's in their heads.)

89 Cool photo of the annular solar eclipse, Ace! We took an overnight trip up to Alturas (located in extreme northeast bumf*ck California) just to get into the path of the eclipse. Weird to get all the build-up towards the eclipse but not get the rest of the show one gets with a total solar eclipse. The sky stayed bright blue, with great white clouds (which sometimes drifted over the sun but not enough to block out the show), so one could see that blackness with the orange sun through the eclipse glasses, while peeking over the top of them to see regular ol' sky. Bizarre. But, we saw The One Ring for all of two minutes! Totally worth the drve.
