Apparently, outrage is Hamas' goal. They want to cloud judgement with anger and rage. Israel needs to carefully assess and calibrate their reaction. It could be only the 1st step in a plan - actions in the West Bank, Hezbollah attacks from the north.
I can support Palestinian statehood and recognize there is no moral equivalent between Hamas and the state of Israel. It isn't hard to hold those two views. I wish for a free Palestine living in peace next to an Israel secure and prosperous within it's original borders and out of occupied Palestine (though I could see them not backing off the Golan Heights).
That was my first thought as well when I heard this. Stories of the invading Iraqi army taking babies out of incubators and letting them die. That was later debunked as propaganda. It wasn't true. It was made up. Unpopular opinion here, I see this story being disseminated everywhere, but imma remain skeptical for now.

Sadly yes. I know many older folks who get ALL of their "news" either from the nice man on TV or from their daily rag. Many of those do not own, or want to own, a computer, a cell phone or any other means of communication than a land line. Whenever I attempt to afford them a little knowledge, their eyes roll back in their heads. I've given up. And, yes, I am waaay past 29. But, my career of working in NY television (the engineering side) for nearly 35 years gave me the inside view of how the sausage is made. I can't watch any so called TV news without my BP jumping 20 points.
