Similarly: Cats think everything is a toy... except for the actual toys you buy them. Those are nothing to them and you're the asshole for even thinking they'd want to play with those. But your laptop? That's the toy they want to play with.

My olde Splotchy cat, after my stent, and both of my spine surgeries, would come lay down on me, instead of at my side like normally did. Big fat dude would look me dead in the eye and purr for hours. Prolly what helped me heal in his well nourished opinion.

They can sense if you behave differently sometimes.

I had a cat that hated being pilled but for years and years needed daily pilling. I started giving him a tiny bit of whole milk which he loved afterward and he would willingly walk into the bathroom at pill time, and I would sit down on the floor and after a 10 minute knock down drag out fight to get the pill in he would get his milk.

My cat Rhea moved to the other side of her normal haunts in bed when I broke my lower arm and had surgery and was there nearly 100 percent of the time. The day the bone doctor pronounced it healed, she went back to her normal places.

I have a mortar and pestle that I use to grind up the pill, then mix with about 1cc of water so that I can squirt it down their throat like liquid meds. Seems to work pretty well, though they don't like the taste, of course.

My Siamese Tom cats from the late 80s early 90s (Buggy, and Tokyo) were masters of this game. Smash, the cats, and I all played ambush hide n seek. Hoomans score points by fuzzing a cat, cats score points by eliciting girly squeaks.

Buggy, the little pinch faced rat, would smack the light switch in the dark as drunken Bif fumbled for it to take a piss at zero dark thirty. Skeert the crap of me so often he taught his ten year senior Tokyo how to do it.

They make, and very cheaply, plastic coated wire springs that cats universally love until they knock them under a bit of furniture. So they come like in a 5 or 10 pack for a few dollars. They are soft enough not to hurt if you trod on one.

82 74. My rescue kitty does not like to be picked up so I scruff her and get her on the counter up against the fridge so she can’t move. Open her mouth and drop it straight back. She has no choice but to swallow. That’s the prednisone for her asthma. The allergy pill gets crushed and put in her food. She’s a gravy food eater so she doesn’t taste it I always add warm water to her gravy lovers food.

My arbors are about 15 feet long, and I picked half of one for that amount of juice. If I can get this level of grapes every year I swear I am going to get 55 gallon barrels and a hydraulic powered press.

When I started pressing apple and grape juice my goal was 52 quarts combined, and with the equipment I had it was about what I could manage. Now with the grinder and new press I can do that in a couple of days.

Maybe I will specialize in bad fruit brandy.

I ordered 'Death In The Long Grass' from the publisher with saved money when I was 12. Later I used his leopard stories to hunt other mammals. My wake-up was his tale up going after a wounded leopard with a shotgun and a GP 9mm, to find while he was armoring himself the leopard had doubled back on its own blood trail and was waiting for him.
The only thing that saved Capstick was waiting for about 15 minutes. It was waiting in ambush above its own blood trail.
I use these kinds of things in CCW 'encounters': as in machine gun actions, slow is smooth, and smooth is fast.

Some guys I knew in WI were working on the Byron Nuclear Plant (1970s) and on the way to work in a station wagon carpooling they saw a big roadkill raccoon, so they picked it up and tossed it in the back of the station wagon. Well, it wasn't dead. It resurrected and attacked everyone in the car while they were driving on the highway at high speed. The driver, while being attacked on occasion, tried to pull over and finally another passenger wrestled this raccoon down and thew it out the window, probably to sucker another victim.
They arrived at the guard shack in a state of general disrepair and the woman told them, "Y'all can't come to work like that." So they had to drive all the way home, get patched up, and return to work late.

A typical front suspension has an upper and lower control arm that has what is called ball joints that connect the control arm to the steering knuckle.

The ball joints have grease filled bushings that degrade over time, typically after about 10-15 years.

In order to separate the ball joint from the knuckle you can either hammer on the knuckle or use a separator tool to separate it.
