There was a question earlier today whether great players made bad manager/coaches. I had a look at the 23 MLB Hall of Famers who made it as managers and only Red Schoendienst and Joe Torre can be said to have the qualifications as players to have been inducted on that basis. Of the inductees who made it as players, only Mickey Cocrhane, Frank Chance (a bad choice) and (maybe) Lou Boudreau can be considered as successful managers.
Actually, I can't find any great NFL players who were also great coaches. And the great coaches either never played in the NFL or had very brief careers.

FWIW, we tried the Wendy's pumpkin spice frosty. It's too much. Too sweet and too pumpkiny-spicey. Even the kids thought it was too sweet, so that says a lot.
It's a shame because they replaced their strawberry with it, and the strawberry frosty is fantastic.

Blanched, quartered, tossed with EVOO, salted, peppered and roasted with bacon and balsamic vinegar is the best preparation for said sprouts.
Taste like little sweet candies.
Pairs well with smashed potatoes and a protein of your choice, mostly beef or pork.

Wash them in a colander, then, with a sharp knife I trim the stems down. Then I make a cross cut in the stem part so it will cook faster.

I absolutely understand why people are cynical, me too, but this is starting to spin out of the left's control. Like them or hate them specific Republicans in the House and guys like Grassley and Johnson in the Senate have done great work exposing all the Biden corruption. And more is coming. That's a big reason they keep indicting Trump.
Who knows where this all goes but we are past the point of no return. The left isn't going to stop and far too many people now know what has been going on for things to just stop. On top of that the border is gone and we are being invaded and now even the left admits it. And a number of our cities are now on the verge of collapse.
I don't know where this all ends but I do know this can't go on. We not have wanted interesting times, I know I didn't, but we've got them.

Then you have the guys who make GREAT coordinators but suck as head coaches.
And there are head coaches I think would have been better off as a GM. Marty Chokenheimer comes to mind. The man could evaluate talent and put together teams like no other. But he was too conservative a coach, especially in the playoffs.

Right on JFK Blvd, which is the main road leading into IAH Bush Intercontinental Airport, which is only one traffic light away.
On the drive-through side of the JitB, there is a Very Busy Shell gas station, high-traffic convenience store with integral Church's Fried Chicken store. On the other side of the JitB, is a Hampton Inn, also with a very high occupancy rate.
Our fat pistolera though, is fortunate. At the angle she was shooting, the rounds were likely to either hit 1. her target, 2. traffic on JFK Blvd., 3. Cars parked across the street in The Spot long-term airport parking facility.
I do wonder of any of the park-ees there might've reported any bullet strikes? Oh, and there's a "4" on the possibilities, too. She could've shot high, and landed some rounds to nearby industrial parks on the other side of Spot Parking.
Any way you cut it, it's Felonly Deadly Conduct, and the slap on the wrist is a travesty. Welcome to Harris County, y'all!

Agreed. But I've never considered Trump a prince. More like a flawed but driven achiever who basically loves this country and wants what I want. And when someone unfairly comes after him it make him more determined to succeed and he won't stop until he is dead.
Again, not my prince, my weapon. I don't care that he is not perfect or doesn't always do exactly what I want. I what him to destroy my enemies and help bring my country back and nobody in my lifetime has been more perfect for the task at hand.
