I actually hate this one. Yes, it does happen to all of us. It is best not to dwell or over invest in a failure.

BUT.

It should not be ok to fail. You should feel bad if you fail. You should want it to never happen again. Don't turn it into a psychosis, but there is a REASON we feel bad when we fail. A good reason.

51 Hello, everyone. I can't stay around ( busy day) but I have three prayer requests

1. Jessie is still in the hospital. She is having a hard time, but may be going to rehab today.
I also wanted to say what a dear Jessie is. Before she went into the hospital she and her nurse worked to make home made bread and cookies to sell to help us out.

2. This might sound silly, but today is our church rummage sale and it's supposedly going to rain a lot. We need to raise some funds for our little church and we also welcome the opportunity to meet and -if they desire it- to pray with people who might need that. So, if you could please pray that the entire endeavor would give glory to God and help our church and others it would be much appreciated.

3. I usually have a worship service at the assisted living place on this Saturday. I will celebrate communion but a very nice, smart resident is filling in giving the message, so if you could pray for Gloria that she finds joy in her speaking. She has another little local church she goes to and is used to speaking but hasn't done this before in this setting.

Thanks so much. God bless!

And similar to border crossing, they only focus on people with passports.

All others can keep shooting, driving, and crossing the border , all illegally, without papers.

91 Re: internet search engines - In the earlier years of the world wide web they worked great. Instantly find any trivial quote or anything like that. Obscure stuff. For a voracious reader, and lover of arcane, interesting and probably Useless information, it was a goldmine addiction.

Sometime in the early 2000s maybe, they went to a pay model: Formerly search engine results, the rankings were produced by a proprietary measurement. If you had your own website, popping on page 1 was a beautiful thing. You didn’t spend a dime on it, it turned up on page 1 based in large part on how many people visit the page.

Initially the search algorithms were based on academic sensibilities. Then, people just paid to have their page turn up on page 1. So now whatever you are trying to find is on page 80.

This went on for a few years. Now it’s worse, instead of merely crippled it is (probably) malevolent

96 @91

It really depends on what you are searching for..

Put in a search of say, 2005 Chevy Colorado Lower Control Arm 4WD, the first hit that pops up is exactly what you are looking for.

Put in say, The Plot To Stop Donald Trump, and every hit is to Leftist sources and stories.

I think that's great. People joke about him, but he made art accessible to millions of people and brought who knows how much joy and enjoyment to people taking up painting, and allowed folks who never would've considered it as a hobby to have something meaningful and worthwhile in their lives.

I always like to think about the grandmother who painted something nice and hung it up before getting sick and dying years later, and that painting is hanging up in her granddaughter's room because it's special to her and gives her that connection to her Grammy.

Bob Ross made that sort of thing happen.

And the hazard for genome modification is not a function of the mass," he continued. "It's a function of how many independent molecules you've got. So, it's actually way worse, having a whole bunch of these little pieces in terms of a risk of some insertional mutagenesis happening. That's way worse than even having one big piece leftover. Right?"

However, he opined that there likely isn't "anything nefarious" at play and instead, "kind of accidentally administratively dumb."

200 173 "Administratively dumb" "Mistakes were made" oops, sorry your heart died.

The FDA says 10 nanograms. Now 10 nanograms could be from one molecule that's absurdly ginormous. Or it could be a whole bunch of little bitty molecules.

What may have happened, according to the researcher, is that Pfizer, federal officials, and others "were scared to death" about COVID-19 in 2020 when the vaccines were being worked on and that mistakes were made.

The Soviet Union guaranteed a "right to safety". Which in practice means the Government has the unquestionable authority to do anything it wants to do if it says "oh this will make you safe." Including locking you up in a camp watched by armed guards.

264 "What is this “right to safety”?"

Maybe it means the Police have a constitutional duty to protect us?

No.....that's not it.

Maybe it means we have a right to arm and protect ourselves to ensure our own safety?

267 Geofencing is a location-based tool used by the government to track individuals through their cell phone data. This tool is generally used in police investigations of criminal activity and requires the government to obtain a warrant, which is limited in time and scope.

The Defendants specifically targeted Calvary Chapel San Jose (“CCSJ” to demonstrate the church was a large superspreader. The County hoped to use this information in its ongoing state enforcement action against the church. To this day, the County cannot trace one COVID-19 case to the church.

I'm not kidding, the Soviet Union had a constitution that was full of them. The communists have always wanted this. For example, a "right to housing" means that the Government has the power, which cannot be challenged, to immediately take away a house from someone on its Enemies List and give it to you.

This is the part they don't say until they need to - Enemies of the State have No Rights at all. Who is an Enemy of the State? Anyone who does not Obey instantly.

No, see at GeoFenceCorp we buy data from Google, Verizon, ATT, and Tmobile. Then we churn the data for things the government might be interested in and helpfully pass it along to them. No warrant needed! By the way... if you are a seasoned law enforcement investigator who has ideas of what data law enforcement might be interested in, GeoFenceCorp is hiring!

I remember ALL the ridiculous, unscientific, punitive crap these mini-dictators and leftist goons forced on us. They forgot.

287 Geofencing is a location-based tool used by the government to track individuals through their cell phone data. This tool is generally used in police investigations of criminal activity and requires the government to obtain a warrant, which is limited in time and scope.

Geofencing is primarily a marketing tool. If you go to a hardware store and a competitor is a marketing partner with the entity whose app is running on your phone, you may receive an alert telling you that a product is on sale. Often it is used in conjunction with other web products you have to guess what products you are interested in and push those ads and "suggested items" to you.

In a less marketing way, a client of mine used it to notify people when they entered into non-CHL friendly states or territories.

The amount of telemetry data being shed by the millions of mobile devices is too overwhelming for anything other than very high profile law enforcement work.

288 A product I did design was implemented in Afghanistan to track drug trafficking routes and traffickers.

A location would be identified as a primarily a drug trafficking nexus and an analyst would mark that area as such and those people who are identified with that location would be radioactive in that at that point contact tracing would take place.

This contact tracing algorithms and technology is what is being leveraged for the Covid-1984 programs. (a lot of people are doing this now). This is a natural filter for the vast telemetry data as waypoints can be geohashed and indexed.

What matters is not where you are, but what POI you were near on what would appear a deliberate contact.

BTW, this technology is also how one easily sniffs out burn-phones to an identifiable user.

My business partner got harangued into getting the VAX by his lefty, scold wife. We were out skiing, and he had a "cardiac event." He went to the bar instead of urgent care at the bottom of the mountain.
He's getting a pacemaker in October. This guy is ~15 years younger than me, and was healthy until the vax.
