Delilah was bred today by surgical implant. Twas nothing, a mere $670. The vet brought us the vial in which the semen straws were stored. Luckily the label said "Virago (Borzoi)" and not "Buster (Mutt)".

Lila will go for an ultrasound on October 13th and an X-ray on November 15th. If it's good, the Happy Event is scheduled for November 20th.

21 Crabs are pretty dumb. Also yummy. When I was a kid I would tie some string around a chicken neck, drop it from the dock. After a minute, 2 or 3 crabs would be on that chicken neck. I'd bring it up and put them in the bucket. No net, trap or hook. A chicken neck on a string, and a bucket. Every now and then a smart one would say "not today, kid" and let go of the chicken neck. I'd come home with 12 or 15.

Id taken Russian Lit, Russian history, and Russian modern history. The same two guys teaching those classes were also the language instructors.
I got A's in those classes.
Took the language class and we agreed on the final if I didn't take anymore language classes, I'd get a D.

Interesting side note, one of the instructor's father won the Nobel (I think it was) in turkey husbandry.

Colorado won one game last year, They hired Sanders and he brought 2 of his sons, a few others from his own previous coaching team, and induced many other players to go to this school. It was less of a hiring than a takeover of the program with someone competent. Think they are 3-0 now, and getting tons of media coverage.
