The Covid Fascism Is Just The Beginning: Public Health Is The Tool With Which The Left Will Destroy Our Freedoms

Oh you crazy conspiracy theorists! The idea that the government will use public health as an excuse to destroy our rights is just ridiculous. Take off the tin-foil hats and return to the real world!

Sure, they eviscerated our religious rights, our free-association rights, our right to be safe in our homes and person, our right to travel without government interference...it was for a good reason, and it was for the children! And grandma!

But that was a one-off thing and they would never try to expand that power to control us in other ways! Really!

New Mexico governor issues order suspending the right to carry firearms in public across Albuquerque

The firearms suspension, classified as an emergency public health order, applies to open and concealed carry in most public places, from city sidewalks to urban recreational parks. The restriction is tied to a threshold for violent crime rates currently only met by the metropolitan Albuquerque. Police and licensed security guards are exempt from the temporary ban.

Fascism, thy name is Democrat.

Power is all they want, and they will use everything to consolidate it, expand it, and use it on us. Gun owners are the tip of the spear that they fear so much, and the more they can blunt that spear, the better to manipulate us, make us dependent, force us to bend the knee to government and their jack-booted thugs.

Lujan Grisham said state police would be responsible for enforcing what amount to civil violations. Albuquerque police Chief Harold Medina said he won't enforce it, and Bernalillo County Sheriff John Allen said he's uneasy about it because it raises too many questions about constitutional rights.

Well, that's nice, but it doesn't mean a damned thing. The state has its own thugs who will gleefully do the bidding of LandesFuhrer Lujan Grisham.

Only if the Albuquerque police and the county sheriff's deputies stop the state police from enforcing this vile and obvious insult to our natural, God-given rights will their statements mean anything. Otherwise they are part of the problem.

Yes, if they act there will be a legal confrontation...something that is sorely missing in America today. Donald Trump should have told Fulton County Georgia DA Fani Willis to pound sand, and that if she wants him she can come and arrest him. Governor Abbot should have told U.S. District Court Judge David A. Ezra that he can enforce his edict himself, but that Texas will continue to defend its border.

Playing by the rules has gotten us to where we are today, with a compliant "opposition" party willing to get along so they can continue to pad their bank accounts while America slide farther into the abyss of totalitarianism. The left is superb at manipulating the law to their own ends, and it is far past the time when rational Americans begin to push back against the insanity of a two-tiered justice system.

Civil Disobedience? Absolutely. If mask mandates come back, then simply ignore them. Let some budding fascist assistant store manager call the cops 30 times a day on normal American citizens and eventually the cops will get sick and tired of it. Overwhelm the system! Your employer demands a Covid booster? Sue them for HIPAA violations or 1st amendment violations. It worked in NYC!

Go to every school board meeting and read the kiddy-pron that infests our school libraries. Make the school board members squirm and cringe and demand that you stop!

There are things we can do short of armed rebellion. But our mindset must change if we are to fight the left. They have a 100 year head start, and we have a lot of work to do!

Keep this in mind every single time an elected GOPe official says they can't do something.

Yes the NM fascist will probably get her hand slapped. And years later the people she targeted will get their rights back. But the pain is now.

Why aren't Republicans doing the same sort of things in reverse red states? Make leftists spend money and time fighting the government that they are taxed to support. AND...find ways to specifically target those leftists to pay for that government action.

7 One of the police chiefs, I think the Sheriff, had the best statement. He doesn't want to get into a legal contest on Constitutional rights, and he sure doesn't want to get sued by a law abiding citizen, beat to a pulp in a mugging, who could have defended himself or herself if only they had the gun they left at home. Something like that would call for the buses of lawyers.

10 Among the interesting things about the Western states like NM, CO, WY, ID, etc... is that the population distributions are wildly skewed towards a small handful of cities while everyone else lives in quite rural areas. The governor's writ doesn't mean squat outside those urban centers because folks will do what they like. Lots of open land in NM where people can and do disappear.

Much of the area of those states are also tribal lands, which have their own ways of doing things. Many of those governments are equally awful, though.

Posted by: "Perfessor" Squirrel at September 10, 2023 12:07 PM (YIVH2)

11 The governor says she doesn’t expect criminals to follow the order. But she hopes it is “a resounding message,” to everyone else in the community to report gun crime. “The point here is, is that, if everyone did it, and I wasn’t legally challenged, you would have fewer risks on the street, and I could safely say, to every New Mexican, particularly those folks living in Albuquerque and Bernalillo County, I believe that you’re safer for the next 30 days, we have to wait and see,” said Lujan Grisham.

18 Lefties have always been fascists at heart, but covid was really the beginning of them bringing it right out into the open. What was shocking, utterly shocking, is what a large percentage of the population went along and/or didn’t protest. To their everlasting shame, many (probably an overwhelming majority) Christian churches closed their doors and did “virtual church” in direct disobedience of the New Testament (see Hebrews 10:25). So I’m not really optimistic that we’ll see widespread pushback against stuff like the Lujan nonsense in NM. On the other hand, I personally know lots of folks who went along last time who now realize they were lied to….. so maybe there’s some hope

Leo Brent Bozell IV, 44, of Palmyra, Pennsylvania, was found guilty Friday of 10 charges, including five felony offenses, after a trial decided by a federal judge, according to the Justice Department.

Bozell’s father is Brent Bozell III, who founded the Media Research Center, Parents Television Council and other conservative media organizations.

U.S. District Judge John Bates heard testimony without a jury before convicting Bozell of charges including obstructing the Jan. 6 joint session of Congress convened to certify the Electoral College vote that Biden won over then-President Donald Trump, a Republican.

Bozell was “a major contributor to the chaos, the destruction, and the obstruction at the Capitol on January 6, 2021,” prosecutors said in a pretrial court filing.

The judge is scheduled to sentence Bozell on Jan. 9.

54 Rules for Radicals-
There are eight levels of control that must be obtained before you are able to create a social state. The first is the most important.
1) Healthcare – Control healthcare and you control the people.
2) Poverty – Increase the Poverty level as high as possible, poor people are easier to control and will not fight back if you are providing everything for them to live.
3) Debt – Increase the debt to an unsustainable level. That way you are able to increase taxes, and this will produce more poverty.
4) Gun Control – Remove the ability to defend themselves from the Government. That way you are able to create a police state.
5) Welfare – Take control of every aspect of their lives (Food, Water, Electrical power, Housing and neighborhood demographics, and Income).
6) Education – Take control of what people read and listen to – take control of what children learn in school. (Common Core?)
7) Religion – Remove the belief in the God from the Government and schools.
Class Warfare – Divide the people into the wealthy and the poor. This will cause more discontent and it will be easier to take Tax from the wealthy with the support of the poor.

It's a good point.

I think another thing we need to probably realize is a lot of these people probably would vote Democrat, but they used to have to stand in line to actually do it. And that kept them home and on the sidelines.

Also, let's say 10 million names on voter rolls "voted" and were counted, but the people themselves didn't. You really think you couldn't find at least a few hundred thousand people that could sign an affadavit that said they did not vote, but the state says they did?

It would be very hard to keep 10 million people quiet and all on the same page.

I would say it has been fairly common in monarchies, where there was either a child as the titular head, or an old in that position.

All the king's horses and men were actually running things, just like we have now.

The Soviet model was slightly different, in that if you were powerful enough before you went down, your people kept the other politburo members at bay, and those other members had their own reasons for pretending you were still in charge, when you weren't.

A lot of people are in jail, pretrial for going on 3 years, a lot of people sentenced to jail for significant jail time, a lot of people spending millions on lawyers for frivolous accusations, and a lot of people demonetized for making factual statments.

Posted by: 18-1 at September 10, 2023 12:26 PM (XqcwY)

That is almost certainly the case, perhaps even many more millions. One theory is places like Californica and New Yaks have been doing the "we'll just vote for you" routine, the areas of great indifference are the best sources for their votes.

Not just those states, of course, also the large cities in otherwise R leaning states, like Philly, Detroit, Milwaukee, etc.

Posted by: BurtTC at September 10, 2023 12:35 PM (QBaJw)

69 Also, let's say 10 million names on voter rolls "voted" and were counted, but the people themselves didn't. You really think you couldn't find at least a few hundred thousand people that could sign an affadavit that said they did not vote, but the state says they did?

It would be very hard to keep 10 million people quiet and all on the same page.

It’s not on that scale though. It’s in the hundreds or maybe thousands in a few states. Biden didn’t need 10 million fake votes. He needed 25000 fake votes spread out in Georgia, Arizona, Nevada and Michigan

That's where this concept of "true the vote" came in. States give you the option to verify your vote after the fact, but it takes a little effort, so often the folks who might not have voted in the first place, they're quite unlikely to be the ones who are going to put in the effort to find out if they actually did "vote."

The Albuquerque DA says he won't enforce the governor's order, so he probably just saved the state millions of dollars.

And a group called National Association for Gun Rights has already filed a lawsuit.

But this particular governor has had to pay out at least one sexual harassment claim from a former male staffer and been busted using state funds to pay for groceries and booze so she'll probably just have to say sorry, after her order expires.

Phoenix is one of those cities though, I don't think they play.

The politicians are dicking around with the state government, but when it comes to enforcing the law, I think sheriffs are much more powerful. Same with Colorado, where the governor sure does seem like the type who would like to be more in line with his lefty pals in Cali and elsewhere, but the rural parts of the state in particular, keep him from getting too uppity.

I don't know about Denver though, that shithole can go sink into hell for all I care, and it seems to be doing so.

Brezhnev was famously joked about as being dead, when they'd send him out onto the balcony every now and then to "prove" he wasn't.

I can't remember the details, but I believe the Norks never had a plan to have the leader be a hereditary position, but I believe Kim Il Song was ill for some time, and they just decided to let the son take over, as the simplest way to avoid a bloodbath civil war. Then when Kim Jong Il was heading to heck, they sorta just put the same plan in place, even though the current leader was in no way considered as a real option beforehand.

One big hurdle that was going to happen right off the bat: as soon as he announced for 2024 he would have to address people that wanted him to stay on as governor and wholeheartedly would have supported him in 2028, so now he's already got a pissed off bunch he has to bring back on board.

Then secondly, acting completely different as a presidential candidate than he does as governor. It's like I'm watching two different people. Where is DeSantis the governor in this race? I rather like that guy.

Honestly if he made a compelling case for why he needs to run now and not later (the real threat of Trump being hobbled from lawsuits and prison) would be a good example, and talked like Vivek I bet he'd be doing much better, if not pulling ahead of Trump.

If your measure of a politician is money, then Trump is the worst, because he isn't using his own money even though he could...he is using the same fundraising techniques that all the other ones use.

I wonder what PA's going to do. We got that Brazilian illegal loose in our corn fields. Open deer season a few weeks early or shut it down and confiscate all weapons?

Posted by: t-bird at September 10, 2023 01:41 PM

I like the idea of opening up the season early. 'Deadly force' has already been approved. This piece of shit murdered his girlfriend in front of her children. Slowly bleeding out from a shotgun blast seems too good. He's costing the state a fortune, schools and businesses are closed - all over an illegal 'migrant' who is wanted for murder in another country too.

Yeah, in some commentaries I've seen some of Trump's MAGA staff have said DeSantis is just "another politician" and I think there's merit to this.

However it's getting lost in the noise of Trump making sensationalist attacks on DeSantis that simply aren't true. Everyone sucks right now.

208 This is a far cry from most of your other comments. The reality of DeSantis is that he has learned how to be a social conservative AND a fiscal conservative without sounding like a lunatic.

------

I've said it many, many times: Trump is running for an office he knows is powerless, as a personal vendetta.

DeSantis is running for a nomination he knows he absolutely will not win, as a cash scam.

Both things are as plain as day. Neither will have my support. I get Trump's thing, but it's not compelling to me. I also get DeSantis' thing, and it is compelling. It compels me to walk away.

I mostly don't hear any of it, so I don't know the specifics, but the impression I have is, DeSantis, in Trump's mind, is roughly in the same role as Ted Cruz from 8 years ago. He's not Jeb!, but he's an obstacle, so a lot of the more outrageous jabs he threw at Cruz, they didn't go over well here, and in other places, but everyone here was fine with him taking shots at Jeb!.

Meh, don't be too bitter.

At least as I viewed it, the decision not to go masked, to keep our church open and to refuse the vaxx wasn't about convincing other people to do it or start a movement.

It was to be true to my own principles and Biblical commands.

If others choose to do likewise, so be it. If they don't, so be it. If so must suffer for my convictions, then let me suffer.

Yeah, I don't have "a guy." I might not even vote, but it takes so little effort, it's like deciding whether to have a cookie or not.

And I'm not rooting for any particular outcome either, because none of us have any real control over that. Either the nation collapses from within, due to political turmoil or economic catastrophe, or the rest of the world decides it's time to take down the monster that has been doing unspeakable evil around the globe for decades.

Either way, it's been nice. For a while.

They took on a project to build a high speed rail in Africa instead. That train is up and running.

230 ||In a recent episode of the Tudor Dixon Podcast, former President Donald Trump took aim at pharmaceutical companies, urging them to release safety data on COVID-19 vaccines. The call for transparency comes amid a surge of reports concerning vaccine-related side effects, such as myocarditis, blood clots, and heart attacks.

“Pharmaceutical companies have an obligation to be honest,” Trump said. “If they are going to hold back, that means they’re holding back something that’s not good. So it’s good for them to be honest. And people are going to understand it too. That’s exactly what we have to be honest with, and they have to—any information, they have to release it.”||

239 42 Just watched some video of Biden in Vietnam. He is really gone. In a solo press conference he becomes totally unintelligible and they start to play music over him and then escort him off the stage. This is getting ridiculous, embarrassing and most importantly, dangerous. Is there no mechanism for removing under the 25th amendment except by the Cabinet? Has there ever been an instance in the history of the world letting someone with dementia be even t he titular head of a country?
Eris, I may have to join you in opting out of the rest of election cycle. If the Republicans can't even get Biden out ofthe white house let alone let him run for reelection, I'm done. It's hopeless.

Keep him in there. Remember, he is the best that the democrats have to offer. Can you imagine being the backup QB (Kamala Harris) and the starter just threw 15 pick sixes in a row and they still won't give you the ball.
