More Viktor Shokin: It Would "Take Half a Day" to List All the Crimes I Was Investigating the Bidens For

Kilmeade asked whether Burisma was corrupt, with Shokin saying he had "no doubt" there were illegal activities.
"As a matter of fact, the criminal case had been started before me. It continued to expand. And Zlochevsky, who at the time held the post of minister, and was the founder and CEO of Burisma, started bringing in people to provide protection for him. Hunter Biden was among them. And the corruption network expanded as a result. So, yes, to answer your question, there is no doubt in my mind that Burisma was engaged in illegal activities."
"Devon Archer said you were a threat to Burisma. Do you agree?"

"Yes. Yes, I agree."
"Why? Because you were going to find out what they're up to?" Kilmeade asked.
"Because he understood, and so did Vice President Biden, that had I continued to oversee the Burisma investigation, we would have found the facts about the corrupt activities that they were engaging in. That included both Hunter Biden and Devon Archer and others," Shokin said.
"What corrupt activities did you suspect they were engaged in?" Kilmeade asked.
"It would take half a day for me to discuss every single count. But I can say that Burisma illegally produced, sold and utilized gas. Zlochevsky, the founder of Burisma, recently made a plea deal with the prosecution in a case where he was accused of giving a $6 million bribe, which is the kind of money you don't just give away if you are not really engaging in anything illegal. So, his plea deal was to cover up a $6 million bribe that he gave earlier."

The National Archives admit that they have over 5,400 emails from one of Biden's three known pseudonyms.

The National Archives and Records Administration acknowledged possessing potentially up to 5,400 emails connected to then-Vice President Joe Biden's pseudonym accounts that he used to forward government information and discuss business with his son, Hunter Biden, and others, and on Monday the Southeastern Legal Foundation filed a lawsuit to compel the agency to turn over the emails.
The non-profit constitutional legal group that filed the lawsuit said the archives confirmed that Biden used the pseudonyms of Robin Ware, Robert L. Peters, and JRB Ware during his time in the Obama administration.
The archives' admissions confirm years of reporting from Just the News about Biden's use of a personal email as vice president and the pseudonym accounts he used.
The legal foundation first filed a Freedom of Information Act request to the archives for Biden's emails in 2021 on behalf of Just the News editor-in-chief John Solomon.
The legal foundation renewed its initial request last year with a second FOIA request, but the archives "has failed to produce a single one of these emails," the group said.
Monday's lawsuit turns up the pressure on the archives to release the documents.
"All too often, public officials abuse their power by using it for their personal or political benefit. When they do, many seek to hide it," Southeastern Legal Foundation general counsel Kimberly Hermann said. "The only way to preserve governmental integrity is for NARA to release Biden's nearly 5,400 emails to SLF and thus the public. The American public deserves to know what is in them."
The legal foundation is not the only group trying to obtain Biden's emails.
Earlier this month, House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer asked the archives to turn over Biden's communications as vice president with his son and his business partners.

Meanwhile, Rep. Nancy Mace warns Biden, "We're coming for you."

Speaker of the House Kevin McCarthy said Sunday that an impeachment inquiry into the president is the "natural step forward," weeks after Attorney General Merrick Garland appointed David Weiss as special counsel in the Department of Justice's (DOJ) ongoing investigation into Hunter Biden.
White House spokesperson Ian Sams responded Sunday night, alleging Congress never requested documents and arguing the potential impeachment inquiry is "crazy" and "rooted not in facts [and] truth but partisan shamelessness."
Mace joined "America's Newsroom" on Monday, where she responded to the White House's comments.
"Well, I have a message for Joe Biden this morning: We're coming for you," Mace said. "If you will not answer the questions for the American people, the Oversight Committee will answer them for you with regards to the investigation we're going to be conducting. It is time for Joe Biden to start telling the American people the truth."

54 I oppose impeachment. Cuz it is a joke. The senate won't convict, and if they do it will be cuz it is part of the dems plan -- and whatever they want will be worse than now. Besides, all it would do would be replace one figurehead pretending to be prez with another one -- who would also not be prez.

Instead -- I favor prison. Pound-them-in-the-ass prison. Not for the Bidens - but for the Bidens and all the other scumbags that are a part of it. I suspect the number of people who are guilty and deserve prison exceeds 10k. Maybe by a lot.

Impeachment won't help that happen -- it would be part of what would keep that from happening, and there are many reasons why.

Sure, interest groups do it all the time. But, a member has to put it into the hopper and sponsor it. There is no requirement that the original text of a bill comes from a representative or senator, just that they are required to introduce the bill to their house of the legislature.

But they did not really reduce government spending- it had already dwindled to the bare necessities because things were so crazy that they were just paying the soldiers more and more and more (and debasing the coinage in the attempt- which caused the fiscal crisis.) The fiscal reality caused Diocletian to go back to a sort of barter system. This resulted in enough fiscal stability (sort of) and he then immediately doubled the bureaucracy. It resulted in a clusterfuck when everything shook out (combined with Constantine's monetary policy) that kind of resulted in Feudalism.

Georgia (the Djughashvili one, not the Peach Tree one) fired its entire state police aparatus, Argentina, Albania and I think Chile reduced government. The Soviet Union also divested itself of a lot of functionaries, but that was in part that they had nothing to do once central planning went away with the Soviet Union.
