Dianne Feinstein Hospitalized After Tripping and Falling At Home

She's 89 90. This is elder abuse.

Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-CA) was hospitalized on Tuesday for tripping and falling in her home, her office announced Wednesday morning.

The 90-year-old lawmaker was taken to the hospital and is now at home. Her staff released a statement about the matter, trying to downplay the incident.

Of course her Vampire Parasite staff is downplaying it. They are being paid big money by the US government and get to act as if they are elected senators themselves as long as they can wheel the old girl into the Senate on a hand-truck.

"Senator Feinstein briefly went to the hospital yesterday afternoon as a precaution after a minor fall in her home. All of her scans were clear and she returned home," the statement proclaimed.

They don't describe what injuries she may have had, if any.

This is the latest incident involving questions about Feinstein's health. She suffered from a bad case of shingles as well as other issues and was out for a couple of months from the Senate earlier in the year. But then when she came back there were a lot of questions about her cognitive abilities.

She even appeared confused about the fact that she'd been away from the Senate. She said she "hadn't been gone," and that she'd been working.

Completely unrelated, not related in any way I swear: Mitch the Absent-Time Bitch is urging House Republicans not to impeach his Good Friend Joe Biden because of course he is.

Let's just keep losing gracefully, our corporate donors hate it when we make a fuss about matters of national life and death.

Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) has urged House Republicans to avoid impeaching President Joe Biden.

Speaking to the New York Times in an interview published Tuesday, McConnell said that he does not want to continue the impeachment cycle that Democrats started two years ago when they impeached former President Trump on dubious charges.

"I said two years ago, when we had not one but two impeachments, that once we go down this path it incentivizes the other side to do the same thing," McConnell said.

"Impeachment ought to be rare," he added. "This is not good for the country."

Republicans have been stepping up calls to impeach President Joe Biden for his alleged involvement in his son Hunter's pay-for-play schemes with foreign governments. House Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) has signaled his willingness to open impeachment proceedings.

"I think there's enough proof out there that this Biden family needs to come forward and show there wasn't a pay-to-play," McCarthy said recently.

Nancy Pelosi agrees with Mitch the Bitch, of course.

One good thing about McConnell -- I think -- is that he won't agree to change the rules of the Senate to add another Democrat to the Judiciary Committee if Feinstein dies or retires. At least, Democrats are saying this is the reason they will continue propping the dying woman up in the Senate, because Mitch McConnell would control whether they maintain their Judiciary Committee majority or not.

Though I suspect they're wrong -- Mr. Amity and Comity with Democrats will probably allow them to put Adam Schiff on the Judiciary Committee once Gavin Newsom appoints him. Because Gentleman Cvck.

So, is there a truly conservative senator currently serving who is willing to make the motion, then go on national television and try and garner support (basically saying)...if your senator doesn't vote for this...toss them out on their collective asses in 2024....and the remainder in the future elections.

84 McConnell said that he does not want to continue the impeachment cycle that Democrats started two years ago when they impeached former President Trump on dubious charges.
---
As Londo pointed out to Vir in Babylon 5, the word "dubious" doesn't mean anything, but it *sounds* important, planting doubts in peoples' minds about the legitimacy of something.

McConnell is attempting to make the charges against Biden sound equally "dubious" when they are clearly not.

She could just retire anyway. It's within her power to retire on her own, unless she doesn't have that power anymore.

If it's cruel to keep her there, then it's not Mitch keeping her there. It's Democrats who are prioritizing the ability to stack the courts over one woman's health.

Also, Mitch is a piece of shit and I can't wait for him to decide to spend more time with his family, or whatever.

88 One good thing about McConnell -- I think -- is that he won't agree to change the rules of the Senate to add another Democrat to the Judiciary Committee if Feinstein dies or retires. At least, Democrats are saying this is the reason they will continue propping the dying woman up in the Senate, because Mitch McConnell would control whether they maintain their Judiciary Committee majority or not.

Out of the inner party members only Newsom seems to have had a side effect so I don't think they are giving them pure saline.

The clot shot is rendered inactive if "thawed" for too long though so you can imagine how easy it would be to give them all the clot shot with little to no risk of it actually being active...

Which, I suspect explains why some "batches" were more dangerous - oh that overworked tech giving you the shot at a stadium left it out too long? SAFE BATCH! That very detail oriented one at your local health clinic was very careful to follow instructions? Enjoy your life long heart problems...

245 We need an age limit on serving in elected office. Index it to life expectancy or actuarial charts or something. I used to believe this was totally unnecessary, that voters could decide if their candidate was too old to serve. But that was naive, or maybe just no longer operative. Democrats literally elected a dead man in the last election. And I don't mean John Fetterman, I mean someone who had actually died. They don't know. They don't care. They pull the lever by party, and the party just wants a puppet so that someone pulling the strings behind the scenes doesn't have to take any heat, and the puppet is either too stupid to know, or too old to worry about the consequences.

297 " when we had not one but two impeachments, that once we go down this path it incentivizes the other side to do the same thing," McConnell said."

the most galling part of this is Mitch equates the political "assassination" of Trump (for non-crimes, after a stolen election) ... with the Treasonous acts of lying/corrupt Biden (and the whole crime family), which actually DEMANDS prosecution and conviction (if not the death penalty).

Even conservatives tend to equate the two as "well, they all do it to some degree". No, with Trump the (fabrication of "evidence" in the) prosecution itself is criminal, and the non-prosecution of Biden is also criminal/immoral.

Do not have a go at me about how many other natural resources Russia has either - if the Russian government sets its budget based on the price of wheat, or nickel, or diamonds, or rye, or manure - fine. But every year, the Russian government bases its budget on the oil price. Make oil cheap, cripple their government.

They are politically well-organized from the days of the civil rights movement, and they've often been shunted off into jerrymandered districts made precisely to produce black political leadership. With the exception of the Jewish community, probably no other demographic organized by identity is as well organized. There may be more hispanics or asians or whatever (however you want to group those amorphous demos), but they lack the organization and sense of identity, I think.

Isn't that the sad truth? A billion dollars used to mean a hell of a lot of money, but our government works with trillions now, so when we see 10 billion spent here or there, it seems like petty cash. Not to me or to you, but to them, and they don't care a whit.

390 When the doctor tells these crusty old whores to stay active, he doesn't mean falling down, bumping your head or throwing your hip.

Stupid fucking geezers.

391 Keep in mind, before every NFL draft, QB prospects are asked to take a test called the Wonderlic.

Yes, the NFL takes the intelligence of its QBs more seriously than our government does of its elected members.

392 Yes. It is preposterous that someone in a decisionmaking position is allowed to give someone else power of Atty.

Uh....not preposterous in SOME situations...

No. It's not the question. The very existence of it is the problem.

396 365: voters are lazy, so let’s make voters MORE lazy. That’s all term limits do.

A lazy solution for lazy people who just want MORE laziness. No matter laziness got us to where we are and that more laziness isn’t going to help things.

CA has had term limits since 1990. Has governance improved there?

398 Didn't Pelosi and Schemer allow remote voting?

Did the court shut that down? How do we know the member did the voting?

399 365: and TX legislators get $7200 a year. Most, if not all, have to support themselves by other means. Has that improved things? Not really. My rep owns an oil drilling operation, but his whole reason for being in office is to help public education get more and more and more money. He started his political career on a school board and his mission in life is to ensure schools get as much money as they want, no questions asked. You think he has time for conservatives?

I think it eliminated monopoly voting power and nobody gets a pension unless other government service.

At least we get rid of the older Democrat. I'm waiting for the trannies to get elected. That's going to be lit.

Newsom should appoint a black tranny.

401 400: what I like is the idea of making staying in office unprofitable. Sure, you can hang around for 20-30 years, but you are not getting a pension (for example). US Reps get a pension after three terms, or a single term as a Senator. You think any of us can retire after six years, without winning the lottery? I don’t think so.

End the bennies, give them a paycheck only, and that’s it.

406 Bribery ought to be rare. However, it is quite common since the Clintons came to DC. The same goes for destruction of government records, such as the 1/06 collusion and video evidence in addition to the unredacted documents. Again, since the Clintons came to DC.
