My B string will not tune to B. It goes from C to D to E. No B. It happened last week and I busted the string trying to tune it. I just restrung the whole thing and still can't get the B. The guitar isn't visibly damaged and I'm sure I used the right strings in order.

Any ideas?

Not knowing what model of guitar it is, I'd take a wild guess that the bridge needs a major adjustment. Also, the string may also be getting caught up in the nut. Worst case scenario? The neck may be warped. Just my 2 cents, worth very little.

Gas is up around 3.89 in Morristown and Stroudsburg.

More than likely the last SPR release has dryed up and the market is doing what a market will do.

112 I've always liked the Hillerman series of detective novels set on the Navajo reservation with Joe Leaphorn and Jim Chee. On Roku they've been running a new (to me) series on AMC based on them. But Chee is not the traditional Navajo; he actually is college educated and works for FBI. In the second season he leaves the FBI to become a private investigator on the rez.

Plus, they created a new female character because WOKE. Her super power is that she hears gunshots in the distance and arrives in the nick of time to save the day.

The rez is dry by federal law. On the weekend the residents would flood Farmington in NW New Mexico and drink to excess since they might not be back for a few weeks. Then, as they walked out into the cold desert night, they'd feel the comforting heat emanating from the asphalt roads and would lie down to sleep. On the road. With tragic consequences.

The hornets were all over the face shield, inside the suit and stinging on his back. He did get the nest in the ice chest and wandered out on the road and stripped down. I grew up in Oklahoma and for the most part there are no reservations (save one in I think Osage county). There's a ton of land owned by the tribes, though, so it's a different vibe. I had a ton of NA friends growing up, but they were just average middle class kids. Nothing unusual about them, except they'd talk about going to tribal stomp dances and the like.

Some say half the state could revert back to ownership by one or more of the nations, others say a tempest in a tea cup. As far as the local NA folks, you wouldn't know unless you asked. A scrapper finally took them off of our hands. He only wanted the brass pumps and impellers for the cooling system.

Lot of dudes turned 18, got that Indian money and died after the parties in a police shootout. One of my closest friends (an Indian) died at 18 the same way his brother did 2 years before.

Played 9 holes of golf tonight. Did reasonably well. I went to a golf range Tuesday night so that helped. It's a bit of a drive to get to but it was worth it. Found out tonight that there is a closer golf range. It's built on the place where the old Top Golf (Alexandria, VA) was before they moved it to the National Harbor. I will have to check this place out next week.

I can't tell you why, but I really enjoyed writing JCL decks.

It fell to me after my workmate coded a masterfile as DISP=(OLD, DELETE, DELETE). And then did it again on the masterfile backup.

You know, this shit really wasn't that complicated.

It was a nice language for the pre-gui days, not quite object but good structured and if you squint you could make objectish libraries.

I live in the burbs of Babylon DC now but grew up in New Castle. Still have family in that area. Not in the city though. That would be madness. It's just a smaller Baltimore now, without the harbor. As was said above, the burbs and rural area are nice. The cities, not so much. Stay away from Hubbard too. Yikes. The contrast from rural, burbs, and city is very noticeable in that area of the rust belt.
