Hot Fun in the Summertime Cafe

deserthighwaymesa.jpg

I believe you know my son, Chip.

Big dog and I'm pretty sure I'm not being snookered by a fisheye lens this time.

Then again, look at this guy's ears! They're HUGE!

bigears.jpg

Seal, chilling.

How does an armadillo play ball? Like this.

Taking your goose out in public, if you catch my meaning.

Summer is for sharing watermelon. Or a beetroot. Or a cheese puff. Or peas.

Monkey knows how to scroll though pictures.

Spying on undersea creatures with a... robotic octopus-camera.

Taking shelter during a summer downpour.

Mom and junior. Another mother and child.

Cute sugar-gliders.

Summer is for chicken-fights.

The dog in the background is the star, though.

Someone's gonna catch a spanking:

I may have to go to this one with the path I am on. I hate 1/2 a filet last night and about 800 lbs of artichokes, and then tonight I started with a relatively healthy meal of veggies over zoodles / whole wheat noodles blend. Until I lost my mind with the parm. It’s so good and cheesy now. Sorry, Food Dieties!

36 The chicken fights link goes to a small dog jumping onto the back of a larger dog in a swimming pool.

Although I'll admit that I'm old enough that "chicken fights" is probably a reference to the game where guys get cute girls to get on their shoulders in the pool and not fights between actual chickens, which, as an older person with an interest in homesteading and light farming, might've just been my own error for no longer being cool.

If you want a guided tour of the area, the Navajo will not let you do it unless you use an "official" guide. There used to be plenty of natives, who would get in your car with you, charge you like $20 bucks, and you got the tour.

Now the official tour is substantially more expensive.

I have been wearing Corcoran Jump Boots since 84. I love the damn things.

258 The thing about the Members Only style was, racing teams would get them, and then get a slightly different one each season. So if you were a serious, let's say, Porsche groupie, you had to keep buying new ones, at the most exorbitant prices. And everybody knew about it, and that everyone not being given them for free for being on the team was paying groupie money. Great fun.

I had one; just as their first wave of must-havedness was ending, some store we don't have anymore had a nice markdown. It was a little tight on me, but looked good in the car, and hey, price. After a couple of years it ended up in the back of the closet. Should have e-bayed or something but there it hung. Eventually I offered it to my kid, who does a little serious driving from time to time, and what do you know, among the old sports car crowd they never went out of style. Super-retro. Great conversation piece. It's older than the kid.

272 Anybody who ripped off a flight jacket prior to getting out should have had the foresight to steal one a few sizes larger.

281 I'm making $90 an hour working from home. I never imagined that it was honest to goodness yet my closest companion is earning sixteen thousand US dollars a month by working on the connection, that was truly astounding for me, she prescribed for me to attempt it simply. Everybody must try this job now by just using this website... www.Payathome7.com

283 262 In high school back in the 60s a lot of button down shirts had the little hanging loop on the back, called by some the fruit loop. Assholes would come from behind and rip it off, sometimes resulting in damage to the shirt. Happened to me, after slimming down, getting in shape. Swiveling around punched the perpetrator good enough for a nosebleed nurse's visit. Got two days off but Mom and Dad were kinda proud.

Waiting on my shipment of a pair of desert field jump boots right now. As in looking at the cameras for the delivery guy.

I bought two pairs at the beginning of the plandemic under the "I ain't going into the pox-eclipse in shitty old boots" mantra.
Now I have wore those out I'm buying post pox-eclipse boots. Because my pox-eclipse boots dun fukin wasted now.

Damn pox-eclipses' never what they cut out to be.
