Witness Intimdation: On Eve of Congressional Testimony of Hunter Biden's Former Business Partner Devon Archer, Merrick Garland's DOJ Tries to Arrest Him
What a coincidence! On the eve of Devon Archer's bombshell testimony to the House Oversight Committee, the Department of Justice tried to put him in jail. If you don't suspect that's an attempt to intimidate Hunter Biden's former best friend before he reveals damaging secrets about the president, then I have a bridge in Brooklyn to sell you. It's another example of a DOJ gone astray. Coming hot on the heels of the first son's dubious plea deal in Delaware collapsing last week, and amid allegations from senior IRS whistleblowers of political favoritism by prosecutors to protect Joe Biden, you have to wonder how far a weaponized, all-powerful, unaccountable justice system can go. Two more examples from the past week tell you the sky's the limit -- and they're not even bothering to hide it anymore. On Wednesday, federal prosecutors dropped campaign finance violation charges against cryptocurrency billionaire Sam Bankman-Fried, who just so happens to have been Biden's second-biggest donor. On Thursday, new charges against Biden's chief political rival, Donald Trump, were filed by special counsel Jack Smith over the former president's handling of classified files. It's impossible not to view the gratuitous intervention in Archer's case by Damian Williams, the US attorney for the Southern District of New York, through the same prism of suspicion and distrust.Archer is out of jail on an appeal of his conviction. The Department of Crime attorney decided that Friday was the right time to tell him to set a date for reporting to jail. Devon Archer is testifying today. The Department of Crime wanted him to know that they wanted him to report to prison just before his testimony. Also via Instapundit: Multiple banks filed over 170 suspicious activity reports against the Biden Crime Family.
As Townhall reports, these SARs are submitted and sent to the Treasury Department when banks "have a strong suspicion" that a crime has been committed, so as to protect the bank.
As Comer emphasized, these are submitted "very seldom." If someone were to have two, the chairman explained, it would be hard for that person to open up a bank account. Submitting an SAR, Comer added, also is "inviting the regulators to come in and regulate," which is the last thing banks want. The 170 reports are thus quite significant.

Think about it. From what a SAR represents as I've read about it, just one places you on the radar of whatever financial institution you're doing business with. Two will get you blacklisted.
I could be wrong about this - I've never worked in the financial business - but that is what I've read and the Bidens had 170 of them.

Well, no. I worked for a payment processor and "know your customer" was part of our training.
SARs sound worse than they are. Are you buying a car with cash, and you take $9k out of the bank to do that? Guess what - $9k is almost $10k, and that withdrawal is "suspicious." Do it twice? That is not going to get you blacklisted.
But 170 does sound like a lot. Likely the banks "knew their customer" was Joe Biden's son so figured nothing would happen.
It's not like he expressed doubt that COVID vaccines were effective or something like that.

I think Joe decided to run to protect himself. But as for why did he end up with the nomination? He was the strongest non-Bernie candidate that lasted to Super Tuesday. That's it.
The establishment tried a series of different flavors (Buttigieg, Warren, Beto, Kamala), but none of them caught on with the voters (hell, Buttigieg won Iowa, and he didn't win another thing). Then Bernie won NH, and the establishment panicked. They gussied up some nonsense about Clyburn's endorsement of Biden being the thing that won SC for him (nonsense, I repeat), and he was the only one with any electoral muscle to actually beat Bernie.
The establishment didn't want Biden. They settled for him.

Why do you think they're trying so hard to keep a lid on it? Every time a new information drop happens, Trump gets more charges. They are desperate to keep this hidden. That was just ONE of the red flags.
And there's a lot more than just the 170 reports already mentioned, all of them connected to the Biden family.
It all points to extraordinary, almost unbelievable amounts of foreign money being laundered over the years. And the Treasury Department and other federal agencies knew all about it, and did nothing.

Back in '89 when I first moved to Silicon (now Surveillance) Valley for work, after opening an account at Bank of America I subsequently deposited a personal check for something like $2,500.
I then wrote checks for a number of expenses like rent and utilities: B of A didn't credit my account for a week, and all those checks I wrote bounced with something like a $20 fee for each.
After giving the branch manager a piece of my mind I immediately close my account -- assholes. In relating the story to someone else years later, they informed me that the same thing happened to them and there was eventually eventually a class action lawsuit against B of A for this apparently widespread and widely-practiced fraud; unfortunately, I was never contacted as a suit member.

I've driven over that, and floated underneath it. It's about 800 feet from the bridge to the bottom of the gorge in the New River valley. And generally, the water is not very deep.
Bridge Day on the New River Bridge has a lot of base jumping and people parachuting off it.
The Sunshine Skyway bridge is steep and kind of wild to drive over. But, it's almost always a safe drive, just a climb to get to the crest of the bridge, as it has to be high enough for seagoing ships to sail underneath.
The Mackinac Straits Bridge is longest (about 5 miles long), and you should only drive over it in the Summer, to feel safe, that is. Sometimes it is closed in bad weather.
That can be quite a scary bridge to drive over in bad weather. And the waters below it are pretty much always ice cold, when they are not literally (literally!!) frozen.

It puzzles me that not one single member of the media has a sense of curiosity. They've been told there is no evidence of Biden corruption. Not one reporter is curious about that.
Would a reporter get fired for looking into it?

I am convinced all of this is because the global business and political elite are up to their necks in this. This includes Bill Barr, and Mitch McConnell. Hence the furor pointed at the movie highlighting this. Going after individual computer kiddie porn people was OK with them - going after the networks kidnapping kids and women to facilitate this was another thing altogether.
