Natural Medicine, the "Science" Journal That Published the Paper "Proximal Origins" Claiming Covid Was Naturally-Evolved and That It Was Racist to Say Otherwise, Refuses to Retract Fraudulent Paper-- Now Claiming It Was Just an "Opinion Piece"

Weird how this "opinion piece" was used as a scientific fact with which to censor and revoke the medical licenses of researchers and doctors who disputed the "opinion" stated in the paper.

A bit of history: Before publishing this paper that claimed that it was a fact -- I mean, an opinion -- that covid-19 evolved naturally, all of the authors had said that it was highly unlikely the virus evolved naturally, and bore all the hallmarks of having been engineered in a lab:

The 2020 "Proximal Origin" paper falsely claimed science showed COVID-19 did not have a lab origin. Newly released messages from the authors show they did not believe the conclusions of the paper and show the paper is the product of scientific fraud and scientific misconduct.

His tweet includes a graphic containing the statements of the "Proximal Origins" authors about the high likelihood Covid-19 was engineered in a lab-- sentiments that were immediately abandoned when Anthony Fauci called them and told them to write a paper swearing Covid-19 evolved naturally.

Here's the direct link to that graphic.

And here are some choice quotes from the authors of "Proximal Origins" -- before the Paymaster General Fauci gave them their marching orders.

"F*ck, this is bad!"

Remember, some of these statements were made a day or two before they suddenly reversed themselves and claimed that it was impossible that covid-19 could have been engineered.

And now that there is strong evidence that everything claimed in this paper was not only untrue, but that the untruths it contained were known even then to its authors, the editor of the "scientific" journal it was published in, Natural Medicine, refuses to retract it.

He claims there's nothing to retract -- it was just an "opinion," not actual science, and opinions can't be right or wrong.

David Strom points out that this, of course, is just the latest outrageous lie:

You can see the change. In 2020 the paper was an authoritative statement based on solid, irrefutable research that COVID had a natural origin. Any challenge to that was a conspiracy theory.
Today it is just an opinion piece. Some people might say...
This is profoundly deceptive. Careers were made and ruined based on whether you said out loud that COVID might have been engineered through gain of function. Even suggesting that it came from a lab was enough to get you kicked off social media and shouted out of your profession. Premier virologists were slandered for deviating a bit from the company line, which suggests that anybody who doesn't have a lifetime tenure appointment was silenced entirely for fear of losing everything.

The FDA mandated no-care and/or ventilator response was what killed people. We managed to go from 50K flu deaths to five or six in one year.

205 The movie Cromwell is available in full on YT. I watched it in full this morning as a reflection on Sefton's morning report. Richard Harris is excellent in the role and where it strays from fact, it is a sobering cautionary tale. But it will take another Cromwell to return us to a path of truth, if not geo-political pre-eminence. I will gladly take truth as the primary aim. The point of the movie is essentially that there can be no half measures, no compromise, and that kings and king makers can never be trusted.

I get flu shot every year, the over-65 one. Long-tested technology based on normal immunity. If they change the flu shot to something weird, that would be another story.

Got the early COVID shots. In my age group, it made sense. Haven't gotten one since.

Didn't even hear about RSV shots until now. Pass.
