Anyway, Cornel West is a Marxist affirmative-action star, whose appointments at various Ivy League institutions of lower learning are a testament to their fading brands. He makes very little sense when he speaks, preferring jargon and multi-syllabic bullsh*t to actual English. But he is a firebrand, and will appeal to the BLM/Antifa-curious voters who have nobody they can call their own...at least directly.

And add RFK Jr. to the mix and we have a lovely little fight for the hearts and minds of all but the most committed of Democrat voters.

Report Found Green Party Candidate Could Cause 'Nightmare Scenario' For Joe Biden In 2024

According to a recent report by FiveThirtyEight, the third-party candidate could create a "nightmare scenario" for Biden, boosting former President Trump's chances of winning the election greatly.
The report suggests an independent candidate would pull marginal support away from Biden, subtly shifting the election in Trump's favor, citing historical trends.
The poll found that in a matchup between Biden and Trump, the Democrat consistently either held a small lead or the two candidates tied. However, when a third-party candidate was an option for voters, Trump gained significant ground.

The problem of course is where those votes will be! If Wisconsin and Virginia and Arizona and Georgia, and maybe even Vermont shift enough to the Green candidate, the the Republican nominee might stand a chance against the steal. But if it is California and Oregon and Washington? Eh...who cares whether the Democrat wins by 20% or 22% in those states.

There is an unalloyed good to come out of a challenge from the left, and that is a sense of disenfranchisement when the true left (the globalist, anti-American, well-funded part) stamps out any debate and any real opportunity to hash out the chaos of the party's goals.

So tell all of your vegan, solar-power loving, 57-gender approving, EV owning friends that if West and RFK Jr. aren't taken seriously by the Democrat/leftist powers-that-be, that it is an indication that voting is no longer necessary, and that they should sit out the 2024 presidential election.

We had three of them at one point when I was a kid. My Dad would go to the junkyard buy one fix it up and sell it. We kept one of them for a few years. I liked that car except in the winter as there was no heater in it.

They were General Motors' copy of the VW Beetle, so they probably had a heater, with heat exchangers on the exhaust pipes. It just wasn't very effective.

He's a climate panic-monger, too. He was in southern Alberta for some event in Winter, and said the warm weather they were currently having was due to Gerbil Worming. Everyone laughed at him, because there was a Chinook blowing. Chinooks have been a feature of Alberta winters for as long as the place has been occupied by humans.

the obviously wrong part is the statement that it doesn't target the Chinese - that's based only on the ridiculously low numbers released by the Chi-com government for propaganda purposes, and which were contradicted by every "unofficial" source of data out there. In a normal world, Ford would be dramatically scaling back EV production, not expanding it. Remember that next time we need to bail out Detroit.

2016 was the exception to this. Donald Trump did not improve much upon Mitt Romney's vote totals from 2012. But what happened is there was a massive increase in third party voting in key swing states (WI, MI, PA). These swing states also saw Hillary Clinton's vote totals drop from Barack Obama's 2012 vote totals by about the same amount the third party votes increased.

Without that exodus of Democrat voters from Hillary Clinton to third party candidates in those states in 2016, we are in the midst of Hillary Clinton's 2nd term right now. And without the rigging and steal of the 2020 election, we are in the midst of President Trump's 2nd term right now.

I still remember an interview Kennedy did on one of the Big 3 channels that ended up destroying his campaign, a lot like happened to Pence and Asa a couple days ago. The interviewer asked him (and it was live to the nation at the time) Why he Wanted to be President - it was supposed to be a puffball question. And Teddy looked totally shocked, as though he had never even considered the question in his life, and obviously his handlers had forgotten to train him to answer that question. In a span of 10 seconds, everyone watching realized that this was a complete vapid simpleton who had no idea of even how to have an ordinary conversation. That may not show up in the histories of the year, but that's what killed him forever as a candidate.

They brain washed my 83 year old mother with that booster garbage. She went to the pharmacy last month and said she was due for her six month booster. She had gotten every one they said to get. They told her that they couldn't do them anymore. I told her to quit going there and getting those shots even if they come back this fall.

Weird thing is she had all five shots and never once got covid. We would have known because she got tested every time she got a runny nose.

His campaign isn't taking off, but I don't think he's hurt himself in the long run any, and I actually agree that he should NOT be VP under Trump - VP has always been a bad place to base any future political campaign on. If he doesn't get the nom, then he should stay Governor til '26, when he's termed out , and then do like Reagan did from '77 - '80. barnstorming the country campaigning while out of office. If you take away all the lying that governments did in every Western nation regarding "cases" and "deaths", the case rate and death rate were likely akin to a very bad influenza season. They nailed Steven Avery for a murder he MIGHT have committed, but probably didn't, and there's evidence his blood that was found in the vehicle of the victim contains preservative from a sample they obtained many years earlier. When they went to get the sample from where it was stored? Had a tiny pinprick hole in the top.

the daughter of a friend was pulled over by the cops in LA. She had pain meds in an unmarked bottle (they were prescription, she had the bottle at home). Police arrested her and forced her to get a DNA test. Once she was released (and proved she was legally allowed to have said meds), LA refused to destoy the DNA info. That's another way to beef up the databases.

As an interesting point to consider, Boston is one of the most leftwing cities in America, and supposedly that mayor was elected overwhelmingly and yet she's being protested.

There was also the guy in Florida who had a thriving physical therapy practice. But he tried to blame the wife, claiming she managed to stab herself multiple times after killing the kids, so I'd say he leans much more toward the psychopath side.

I literally heard that word used the first time when it was part of an All Things Considered show in the 1980s about inventing new words to cover things we didn't have a word for. They had one for the feed strips on old computer printer paper that you peeled off too, but I can't remember what that was deemed. I always called it a feed stip, but I don't think that one took off.
