Castle Sant'Angelo (Castle of the Holy Angel), Rome
"It was initially commissioned by the Roman Emperor Hadrian
as a mausoleum for himself and his family.
The building was later used by the popes as a fortress and castle,
and is now a museum."

Dead Man's Curve.

The Amalfi Coast.

A big pour.

Cows!

This dog has designs on her man.

Synchronized surfing.

This dog just cvcked a lion.

Letting an alligator know you're not lunch -- and that as a matter of fact, maybe he is.

If the fairway is filled with kangaroos, do the rules say I can move my ball?

An old one, but still cute: Cool it, it's the screws!

Hero dog!

Cat is within days of actual human speech.

Moose at full gallop. Probably faster than you were expecting.

The Infiltrator.

Oh no, an e-dog. A hound-thot.

Making her debut on OnlyFleas...

One thing that struck me is how smug and condescending the CNN and MSNBC hosts are to anything remotely republican. And it struck me, the GOPe is trying to impress these people. Chris Christie wants the MSNBC hag to say something nice about him. That is it. That is all that drives them.

I would argue that it goes back further than that although I don't doubt that many of these globalist organizations that seed the government and "think tanks", what an ironic term, have outsized influence over our foreign policy and have probably since the League of Nations.

The same highly educated globalists who brought us the L of N, the EU, the UN and disaster after disaster around the world for over 100 years never seem to go away no matter how many times they are wrong. Then when a Trump comes along they attack like he is a virus because that might mean the end of their cushy jobs.

Trump had a bare bones foreign policy team that was mostly him. Every single thing he did was opposed to the globalist way and he kept getting things done and they hated him for it.

Go to any major university anywhere in the country and they preach the same drivel as the Tri and they spit out new geniuses like Susan Rice and Jake Sullivan like chiclets. And they are always wrong.

When I was at Thule a while back there was a Danish Naval Officer and three Danish Marines to raise the colors in the morning and lower them at night.

275 The latest bash on DeSantis is that he's about to sign a bill that ends Florida's perpetual alimony law. See you get divorced in Florida and you pay the wifey until you die even if she remarries or gets rich. You're on the hook until you or she dies.

The new law puts limits on how long you can be forced to pay alimony. Now, most people would call this change "sane" and "important" but the left is sure this will cause all the Republican women to turn Democrat in Florida and refuse to vote for him.

I think most will realize this is reasonable, even if a bunch of freeloading old women are angry about it.

Dr. Andersen also found a paper written by Dr. Ralph Baric and Dr. Zhengli Shi (Baric/Shi Paper) that purported to have inserted furin cleavage sites into SARS. As recounted by Dr. Farrar, this paper was a “how-to-manual for building the Wuhan coronavirus in a laboratory.” Dr. Holmes responded, “fuck, this is bad” and “oh my god what worse words than that.”

all of the Air Force Bases are technically RAF bases. Most of them don't have a significant RAF presence. Maybe a couple of members of the RAF Regiment to raise the Union Jack in the morning.

When I was at Thule a while back there was a Danish Naval Officer and three Danish Marines to raise the colors in the morning and lower them at night.

"This time, though, the intermediate-host hypothesis has one big problem. More than a year after covid-19 began, no food animal has been identified as a reservoir for the pandemic virus. That’s despite efforts by China to test tens of thousands of animals, including pigs, goats, and geese, according to Liang Wannian, who leads the Chinese side of the research team. No one has found a “direct progenitor” of the virus, he says, and therefore the pandemic “remains an unsolved mystery.”

Well, remember the argument is not "should there be alimony or not?" but rather "should the former husband be compelled by law to pay for the rest of his life no matter the circumstances of the former wife?"

She gets remarried? You still pay.

321 I'm coming up on a year of living in the South. I don't like the humidity. Especially this time of year. I used to laugh along with everyone at people who said dry heat is better, being from CO.

I was wrong. Dry heat is better.

That aside, I am way, way, way happier. For one thing, along with the humidity comes a salubrious climate packed with gorgeous flowering plants I've never encountered, and many colorful animals, especially birds, that I can enjoy looking at and hearing.

I love the rain. I barely ever saw rain in the Rockies. I get it here all the time - storms, overcast, sunshowers. Gigantic, intimidating rivers. Lakes. Water everywhere, all the time. Everything is green. It gives me a boner.

But the people are mostly better, too. People say things like "have a blessed day." And I don't worry about being shot nearly so much. It's not such a savage, godless materialism here.

In my 64 years (and one divorce) i have never heard of alimony till death do part and i think it's ridiculous.
Maybe, maybe a term to be not longer than the marriage, but, even that I'd have to think about.

I know one lady that approached a lawyer to inquire about divorce and she was told in ND there is no expectation of alimony, especially if no children. She stayed put.
