On its way. If you'd like some BBQ sauce, I can offer some habañero peach, spicy chipotle (spicer than the habañero), or some Wildhorse out of the bottle. The Shiner 1909 is a special lager they're brewing this year, very tasty if you like lagers. I was looking for a beer they've just released that's aged in bourbon barrels to try, but alas, the store didn't have any. the 1909 is a good find, though.

The Bluebell Peachy Peach is very peachy. Two thumbs up.

77 My dad's night job was with a major oil company, and for most of his 30 years there they allowed paid days off for VE Day and VJ Day -- but only for WWII veterans. Being a while back, some of the senior guys were WWI vets, and all they got off was Armistice Day, which everybody got off anyway. I don't recall hearing a lot of grousing about it. Kind of a "best years of our lives" thing, in the day.

I never liked their style of wings but surprisingly they had awesome hamburgers. They closed the one across the street from me over a decade ago . They tore down the building and built a high dollar Mexican restaurant.

That's not what the changes were about. The AP/tech companies are data scrapping social media using AI bots. They are searching for trends and then using AI to censor ones they don't like.

Musk was fighting back against the AI overlords. He was trying to see who was real and who was a bot. And it worked, well so far.

1 (11-ounce) can corn, drained well, 1 (14.75-ounce) can creamed corn, 8-oz sour cream, 1 large egg, lightly beaten, 1 small onion, finely chopped, 1-2 jalapeños, finely chopped, 1/2 tsp garlic powder, 1/2 tsp paprika, 1/2 tsp salt, 2 tbs melted butter, melted, 1 (7.5-oz) pkg corn muffin mix or your own cornbread recipe, 1 1/2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese, divided
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350 dF. Grease a 9x13-inch casserole dish. In a large bowl stir together corn, sour cream, and egg.
Mix in onion, jalapeños, garlic powder, paprika, salt, melted butter, corn muffin mix, and 1 C cheddar cheese.
Pour into prepared casserole dish.
Bake for 30 minutes. Sprinkle cheese on top and continue to cook until set in the middle, about 15 to 20 more minutes. Done when there is only a slight jiggle in the middle when shaking the dish.

Only about 45 minutes from Laramie to the best trailheads. And you had to stop in Centennial afterwards to eat at the Bear Tree Cafe (now the Bear Bottom) then ice cream at the Country Junction. mmm....

I might try a backcountry trip on horseback, but I’m well past being able handle the demands of humping a 70lbs backpack on flatland, not to mention mountain terrain.
