Was never a big fan of fireworks.

When we were kids we used to do some dumb sh*t.

I was almost blinded by a firework place under some metal debris, escaped with my sight.

There were some kids that were not so lucky.

Two kids took a bunch of blockbusters, cut them open and tried to make a pipe bomb, they were both holding the pipe while they screwed on the end cap, and friction took care of the rest.

They lost both of their hands and one of the kids lost his balls.

Elton was on XM radio once where all these old queens and faggots were asking him about the lyrics to his old tunes and their meaning and being deep blah blah blah.

First he told them there is no “Elton John” his name was Reggie. And no, Bernie just wrote the words to rhyme with no thought to feelings and all that BS.

He finished by telling the poofs to get into new music as that crap from the 70s was dead and to get over themselves.

I actually was surprised and good on him.

Second, we're creating a temporary 12-month “on ramp” to repayment.

This is not the same as the student loan pause, but during this period – if you miss payments – this “on ramp” will temporarily remove the threat of default or having your credit harmed.

On everything the Democrats do or propose, they assert it is simply the just and fair thing do, helping downtrodden victim group X get out of: debt, or discrimination, or systemic racism, or anti-LGBTQblahblah bathroom prohibitions, etc, etc. etc. Anyone who opposes it is an evil, rayciss, hard-hearted scumbag.

Never do they acknowledge there are will be negative consequences, or increased costs and taxes imposed on the majority, or loss of opprtunity for the majority, or nonsensical accommodations the majority will have to make or be sued or arrested, and so on.

They are the evil ones, not the ones they slander.

284 Your own shit is foaming out of your lips, and you're licking them. What a loser.

All this - in defense of 1920s dudes. Seriously. That's what you're doing.

Were the pin-stripe jackets that good ? No, they were not. You're just white knighting over a vague historical notion. Some shit you think you saw in a painting.

Literally stirring shit because somebody dared question an era over 100 years before your time.

Agreed. I loved his 70s stuff and thought Madman Across the Water was an excellent album. Captain Fantastic was the last one that I remember taking any notice of.

286 190 Elton was a rock god in the early 70's. There is no explaining the "can you feel the love tonight" era.

Kind of like the Peter Cetera and Michael McDonald eras with Chicago and the Doobie Brothers, respectively. Although, I have recently slightly rekindled my affection for Living on the Fault Line.

287 Yes, dog saving stories are the bestest. Don't ever put me on a jury for animal abusers or pedo's or elder abuse. Hang 'em high.
