Perjury Trial of Loudoun County School Spokesman Who Covered Up Transgender Sexual Assault Begins

The perjury trial of the Loudoun County, Virginia school spokesman who lied to cover up the sexual assault (sodomy, in fact) of a girl by a "gender-fluid" boy in the bathrooms started this week.

A lawyer for a school system official accused of perjuring himself during a high-profile investigation of two school-based sexual assaults told jurors Tuesday that her client is "the fall guy" for a series of administrative failings.
The perjury case against Loudoun County Public Schools spokesman Wayde Byard is the first prosecution to go to trial from a special grand jury investigation commissioned by Republican Attorney General Jason Miyares at the request of Republican Gov. Glenn Youngkin.

The grand jury examined the school system's handling of two sexual assaults at two different high schools in 2021. The assaults became a major issue in that year's gubernatorial election in part because the boy who committed the assaults was allowed to transfer to another school after the first attack and in part because the boy was wearing a skirt when he committed the first attack in a school bathroom. At the time the county was considering a policy change to allow transgender students to use the restroom of their choice.

I believe the school superintendent will face a separate trial for his own perjury and obstruction.

I wanted to add additional facts:

The man played only one set against each. He beat one 6-1, and the other 6-2.

He was only allowed one serve. That's huge. Usually, without this special rule, get two serves. The first serve, you blast it and aim for the last centimeter before the line. If you get it, you will almost certainly take the point. If you don't nail that serve, you get a second serve, but this serve, you will play much more cautiously because if you screw it up, you give away the point.

Because he had only one serve, he could not really tee off like men do on the first serve. He had to serve cautious baby-serves every service.

Two, this guy had a couple of beers before the matches.

Three, he was smoking in between matches. One journalist described his training regimen:

Four, he played an entire round of golf before playing both of the sisters.

And finally, although people are saying he was ranked 203rd, he really wasn't. He was usually ranked 488. He was briefly ranked at 203rd because he won a fluke match in the Australian Open and his rating spiked up for like a week.

The Men weren't sending their best to take on the Williams sisters.

But yeah, there's no difference at all between the physical abilities of men and women.

Riley Gaines also ripped Harvard for doing to its female athletes what her school did to her -- pressuring her to shut up and keep silent about her deep discomfort about having to show her naked body to a man who was likewise peacocking his dick around the women's locker room.

This is the letter that Harvard University allegedly sent to its female swim team members:

'The conversations and controversy surrounding Lia have been challenging to read. In particular, they focus or (sic) what is fair and what is ethical. Regardless of your personal stance, Lia has been incredibly transparent and is abiding by all NCAA rules.
That is a fact. Having watched [Schuyler Bailar]'s transition first hand, I can tell you that if it wasn't for the support of the teams, he may not be here today. Life is more important than politics.
While we will never tell you what to do or what to believe, it doesn't benefit out team from winning a championship if we spend our collective energy getting annoyed or frustrated. Let the NCAA figure out their next steps.
Let us focus on our team. And if any press reaches out, then please direct them to our Sports Media Office and ideally, refrain from comment.'

Riley Gaines translates:

'Let [me] divert your attention from inherently feeling like something is wrong, by asking you to focus on how great Lia has been.
Let me emotionally blackmail you into accepting mistreatment because otherwise you are complicit in a potential death.
Exchanging your fair treatment for someone else's benefit (a male in this case) is a justifiable cause. And the fair treatment of women is 'just politics' anyway.
While we won't tell you what to do, we're telling you it is a bad choice to fight this. Let the men in charge at the NCAA decide your fate.
Immerse your thoughts and feelings into something else to ignore the obvious injustice you face. Let other people decide if you are worthy of fair competition without your input or voice. Oh, and finally don't talk.'

A Church of England school teacher told a pupil she was "despicable" after she refused to accept that her classmate identifies as a cat.
The 13-year-old girl and her friend were reprimanded by their teacher at Rye College, in East Sussex, on Friday at the end of a Year 8 class on "life education" in which they were told they can "be who you want to be and how you identify is up to you".
The row, which has infuriated parents, was allegedly sparked by one of them asking a fellow pupil: "How can you identify as a cat when you're a girl?"
Their teacher told them they were being reported to a senior leader and were no longer welcome at the school, part of the Aquinas Trust, a Church of England network of 11 schools, if they continued to express the view that only boys and girls exist.

The Telegraph has heard a recording of the heated exchange taken by one of the pupils, in which the teacher starts by saying "how dare you -- you've just really upset someone" by "questioning their identity".
The pupil responded: "If they want to identify as a cat or something then they are genuinely unwell -- crazy."

The teacher then asks the girls "where did you get this idea from that there are only two genders", adding: "It is not an opinion."
The teacher said that "gender is not linked to the parts that you were born with, gender is about how you identify, which is what I said right from the very beginning of the lesson."
She added that "there is actually three biological sexes because you can be born with male and female body parts or hormones" and "there are lots of genders -- there is transgender, there is 'agender' who are people who don't believe that they have a gender at all".
The girls said they "don't agree with that" and that you "can't have" an agender identity "if you have a vagina you're a girl and if you have a penis you're a boy -- that's it".
The teacher interjected in a raised voice: "What do you mean you can't have it? It's not a law ... Cisgender is not necessarily the way to be -- you are talking about the fact that cisgender is the norm, that you identify with the sexual organ you were born with, that's basically what you're saying, which is really despicable."
The teacher suggested they were homophobic and confused, which the girls denied. When the pupils said their mothers would be on their side, the teacher responded: "Well that's very sad as well then."
The teacher said that "if you don't like it you need to go to a different school", adding: "I'm reporting you to [senior staff], you need to have a proper educational conversation about equality, diversity and inclusion because I'm not having that expressed in my lesson."

Kinda the same strategy is used in cricket as in softball: just make contact (protect the wicket in the former, slap the ball and run like hell in the latter). In cricket you can choose whether or not to run, so you can just dink the ball all afternoon if you wish. Really teeing off (i.e., taking a full hard swing) in either isn't super common.

A lot of the difficulty lies in getting used to the unusual trajectory, one reason that pitchers throwing submarine style (knuckle-scrapers) in baseball are difficult to hit.

One time a pair of young guys (20s) and I couldn't get get on the baseball field, so they suggested we just go to the adjacent Little League field, and use tennis balls. The younger of the two was 22, and had been a pitcher at Penn State. He could hit the low 90s. He didn't throw full speed, but maybe was throwing 75 mph, from 45 feet away. (That's equivalent in time to 100 mph from 60 feet.)

He threw a couple right past me, then I began fouling balls off toward the 3B dugout (I'm a LH hitter), then the 3B coaching box, then down the 3B line, then at SS, and finally could hit line drives back up the middle as I dialed it up. Then of course, he threw me a change-up, and I almost hurt myself swinging at it. I never could pull him, even though I'm naturally a dead-pull hitter.

Nope - the boys at that age aren't fast enough or big enough. I had a daughter who could hold her own with any guy through middle school on the soccer field. By 8th grade you could see it getting more difficult. Then came HS - and then came complete male dominance.
