When informed that this critical context was hidden from him, the agent supervising the investigation got so angry that he had to leave the room to collect himself.

DURHAM: We interviewed the first supervisor on the Crossfire investigation, the operational person. We showed him the intelligence information. He indicated he had never seen it before. He immediately became emotional, and got up and left the room with his lawyer, spent some time in the hallway, came back.
JORDAN: He was ticked off, wasn't he? He was ticked off because this was something he should have had as an agent on the case. This was important information that the director of the FBI kept from the people doing the investigation.
DURHAM: The information was kept from them.

Democrats are defending all of this, and smearing Durham's reputation. It's literally their one move.

I was listening to some legal somebody discussing contempt of congress this morning, and apparently it's not toothless. Congress just choosing to not enforce it. According to him there's a 1 year jail term and $100K fine, along with any legal bills associated with it.

I don't know. Local conservative talk radio used to have a weekly hit with Jake Tapper cause he was a moderate lib. When Trump was elected, he would sound feral when they brought Trump up. Remember when there was some story about Trump "revealing classified information to the Russians" when their Foreign Minister was visiting? I remember Tapper saying "I can totally see him saying that he's such a braggart" - it was notabout whether the story was true or not, or whether it mattered - it was about Orange Man Bad. I don't know whether Tapper believed the stories he told. But they confirmed his Orange Man Bad, and that wasgood enough.

I think LIVs take their cues from people who should know. Oh, look, this well informed news guy says Trump is a Russian plant, he must be a Russian plant. They don't believe the story so much as they believe Tapper.
