Sefton: sefton at cutjibnewsletter.com | Disney's "Chief Diversity Officer" "Exits""Exits." Not "was fired." Not was "asked to resign." "Exits." Via Clownfish TV, Disney's chief diversity officer "exited" the company. She wasn't fired or anything, Clownfish notes. She just suddenly decided to leave her job without warning at 9:30 PM on a Tuesday night. You know, the way people always "exit" their jobs voluntarily.So... she doesn't have another job lined up. And how's that going? How did The Little Mermaid perform for global audiences? By the way, South Koreans did not appreciate Disney branding them as "racist" for not applauding their latest race-swap. Good luck selling your next bomb in South Korea, Disney. Back to the "exit:" So, they also don't have a replacement for her at the ready. Clownfish cannot say what decisions or recommendations that this woman made, but they do notice the coincidence that Disney's woke weirdness, scrapping classic Disney rides due to political correctness concerns, constant race- and gender-swapping, and Not So Secret Gay Agenda began at about the same time she joined the company. Though that's facile. It was Iger doing everything. He brought her to be an ally in his Woke War on Shareholder Value. They're on more solid ground when they note that Disney has another quarterly earnings coming up, and that it's going to be D I S A S T R O U S. So Disney is probably scrambling in advance to show they're "righting the ship" before activist investor Norman Peltz decides he's had enough and leads another shareholder revolt. Update: She was also behind Disney's woke "Reimagine Tomorrow" project, the project where wokies admitted to pushing a "Not-So-Secret Gay Agenda." More from Bounding Into Comics. ![]() Meanwhile, Disney Minus just shat out a steaming stinky pile of Disney Marvel "content." Secret Invasion is so bad that even reliable Disney/Marvel shill Grace Randolf says that the new series is a complete disaster, with poor writing, poor direction, and a very low budget that distracts from what little story there is. So with Disney losing money hand over fist, with Marvel having shed half of its former built-in audience, and with critics absolutely savaging his new starring vehicle, what does the race-obsessed asshole soylib Samuel L. Jackson do? Why, he goes out there and insults what's left of Marvel's audience. Jackson didn't stop attacking most of the MCU's shrinking audience there. Oh, so you're saying that Republicans demonize The Other, Sammy? You're saying that Republicans walk around with hate in their hearts for other people based only on surface traits? This guy is a piece of shit actor and always has been. He has one schtick, Angry Black Guy who Glares. And that's a schtick that any black guy can do. Craig Robinson did it just as well on The Office, but then later did other things with the character too. He wasn't just a Glare. And lately Samuel Jackson has been following the Robert DeNiro career trajectory -- just getting lazier and lazier in playing every role exactly the same way, except when he does a little self-parody and just plays himself playing himself. DeNiro phoned in these DeNiro Impersonation Performances a lot in his later, sadder years (like in the Meet the Parents movies), and now Sam Jackson only has two modes, Sam Jackson scowling and glaring, and Sam Jackson mugging and winking at the camera while he scowls and glares. See, it's funny, because he's self-aware about what a One-Note Joke he is.

She wasn't fired or anything, Clownfish notes.
She just suddenly decided to leave her job without warning at 9:30 PM on a Tuesday night. ++++ The best thing about being an executive is that you don't get fired. You get fired, of course, but it's not a bad deal. You get pulled in with your boss and it's delivered pretty straight: "you're gone. You can quit or you can make me fire you. If you quit, you'll get this nice severance package (usually some money and they don't claw back unvested stock, plus they continue you on the payroll so you can retain access to medical benefits) and can go on to somewhere else. If you make me fire you, you get nothing and I will drag your name through the mud and you'll never work again. Now what's it going to be?" So they resign. Take the money and walk away. *Only* VP level and above gets this treatment. I dunno, the usual formula is where some old dude is running around with some hot chick half his age. The plot line is a McGuffin. Its the not so subtle message that older men still "have it" to attract young nubile women. Dudes see that and think - yeah, I can shoot up people, drive like a maniac and blow up things and have this hot piece give herself up between making crazy business deals and flying on private jets.
Posted by: Reuben Hick at June 21, 2023 04:35 PM (3hSHB) ++++ No, they don't - at least, not that I have observed. And if the guy is actually rich and powerful enough to be doing huge deals on his own private jet, he probably *does* have a hot young piece give it up on that jet and if he wants to commit murder, he can. Also I keep getting ads for the new Nexflix live action version of One Piece, an anime i never watched.
If anyone remembers, Netflix put out a shitty failed version of Cowboy Bebop, where half their promotion of it in the start was "Haha white men, we're going to take a character that's clearly a white guy and make him Asian since it's an Anime show from Japan" and then they proceeded to basically state they believe all asians are the same by hiring a mediocre Korean actor instead of someone who's Japanese, since the people running Netflix are apparently racist in all forms. Well now their push for "anime must have Asian leads" apparently shit the need, as the leaf in this series is a Mexican kid. Guess they only want it to have Asian leads when it means being racist against white people. Posted by: Rbastid at June 21, 2023 04:40 PM (TFfua) 108

Exactly correct DEI and "woke" add nothing to the bottom line and in fact subtract because it damages any original thinking and leads to the race and gender swap bs. Samuel L. Jackson has always been a racist asshole. Yeah he's one of those guys who hates white people and blames them for all his woes, presuming everyone is racist against him at all times. He's not old enough to play that card. Him being a really popular and massively wealthy superstar sort of negates his entire premise. Posted by: Christopher R Taylor at June 21, 2023 04:38 PM (0hOvj) I'll note two things from his history. He's an admitted former crack-head. He's a violent felon, for holding a bunch of people hostage at Morehouse College in 1969 (including Martin Luther King Sr.), demanding a bunch of commie policy changes.
