Tucker Carlson's Frequent Guest and Now Biographer Chadwick Moore: Yes, The Day Tucker Carlson Was Fired, He Was Planning a Monlogue About January 6th and Ray Epps

Rupert Murdoch and his worthless "sons" James and Lachlan destroyed a media empire to protect the honor of Ray Epps.

Also, Moore claims the firing was part of the settlement demanded by Dominion. I've heard this, but it seems to originate from Tucker Carlson himself, through his lawyer.

I don't know if I believe this. It seems bizarre that Dominion would demand the firing of a host who did not actually make accusations against them.

But then again, the lawsuit was a leftwing Battlespace Preparation operation, so who knows.

Author Chadwick Moore, who was a frequent guest on Tucker Carlson's show, released a video Monday promoting his biography of Carlson that's slated to be released July 18. In the video Moore states that Carlson's planned monologue on April 24, the day Fox abruptly "parted ways" with its star host, was indeed related to "investigations around January 6th and particularly Ray Epps," and efforts to silence Tucker, and that Tucker's firing was indeed a condition demanded by Dominion Voting Systems as part of their massive pre-trial settlement with Fox.
While there have been numerous reports on both of these topics -- and in a letter from his counsel to Fox News, Carlson himself claims that his firing was a condition of the Dominion settlement -- the fact that Carlson quote-tweeted Moore's video with a wide-eyed emoji seems to be an additional confirmation of that, and a confirmation of his planned monologue topic.

I've also seen the monologue that Tucker planned to deliver on Monday, April 24th, before his show was abruptly taken off the air. That monologue dealt with, among other things, investigations around January 6th and particularly Ray Epps, the only person captured on video inciting people to violence at the capitol that day and allegedly an FBI informant who still has not been arrested or charged. Ironically, a good part of the monologue also dealt with the people and forces that are trying to silence him, like AOC and others in government.
It has now been reported that his firing was a condition demanded by Dominion as part of the settlement with Fox. Although Dominion has denied this, my sources have intimate knowledge of the situation and they have assured me, even before this news leaked, that that is, in fact, the truth. If that is true it would mean that a small group of people who have a controlling interest in Dominion have managed to silence what is arguably the most important and influential conservative voice in the country, possibly until after the next presidential election.
Knowing Tucker as I do, I am confident that he will not be silenced, as I'm sure all of you are as well.

Are we now allowing corporations with political agendas to use the lawsuit to silence their enemies? Even their enemies who had nothing to do with the alleged slander the lawsuit is based on?

Such settlements should be set aside as Contrary to Public Policy. Judges have that power.

I bet you they would do so if the target were Rachel Maddow...

And Foxweiser agreed to this?

If so, then it's time to impose the Corporate Death Penalty.

Sure, but there's a catch: the target of that kind of demand has to be willing to accommodate it.

If Dominion told Fox, "as a part of the settlement, we want Carlson gone" and Fox *didn't* want Carlson gone, the demand wouldn't have worked. If Fox was willing - or even eager - to get rid of Carlson, though, then the demand will be met enthusiastically. It provides air cover for a decision they wanted to make anyway.

And that's what I would bet happened if it turns out that Carlson's firing actually had anything to do with Dominion.

sorry that was a lot and it is tangential to this topic. NC law just approved by the legislature to address things like what Duke Medical was doing (refusing to do transplant surgery on a child who was not covid vaccinated). Alex B just published a substack on this law, and I'm hopeful (and happy another hospital has offered to finally do her transplant) - but wouldn't be surprised if Cooper tries to block that law as well.

I keep advocating for automatic removal of office of anyone who uses an emergency power, with a bar against holding office again.

If it's a real emergency? The sacrifice is worth it. If it's not? Then they're a tyrant who should be gone anyway.

Essentially, it's a stick to make sure that localities are sturdy enough to survive on their own without needing to rely on emergency declarations from higher power centers.

What worries me the most is:

1) so far they have also been able to get judges to exclude everything they need excluded; and

2) juries are doing whatever the left wants them to do -- rendering Durham completely useless (which might have been just fine by both Barr and Durham) by freeing the Russian collusion hoax perpetrators and then

3) convicting everyone caught up in all the subsequent events downstream of that hoax.

Agreed. I am sure that tens of thousands of hours went into their reporting. I've looked at hundreds of hours of videos of J6 and Revolver didn't get a single thing wrong or need to slant things a single degree off the truth.

That Ray Epps still walks a free man proves that J6 was a state operation to prevent Donald Trump from becoming President. Is no one person in the FBI equipped with enough testicular fortitude to tell the truth?
