Is this real? I don't even know any more. Even though it looks like it may be a videogame, a detail makes me think it's real: He's holding a baton which is attached to a rope. That rope is being pulled by some machine in the distance to give him his constant velocity. I don't know why a videogame would model that.

I think this is real, but again, I can't trust my eyes any longer.

The giveaway is the water as the board is moving through it. Even using an RTX 4090 you can't render that detail in realtime.

Possible it could be animation and rendered into a video clip, but doubtful.

There are miles and miles of nothing and nothing (except huge farms) and straight dirt roads. Upon occasion, given there was little to no traffic, people would Dukes of Hazzard those roads, particularly at night. Person or persons unknown took to creating deadly traps by building tripods with a cinder block ontop such that the cinder block was windshield high. Then they painted the whole thing black so it was difficult to see and would place them on the roads at night. Whether they were someone's idea of a joke or someone attempting to slow traffic, I don't know. I never heard that anyone was caught.

Worth noting that based on the Oklahoma treasury department's supporting documents, they quizzed Vanguard on their participation in ESG nonsense and were apparently okay with the responses as they didn't make the embargo list.

The whole point of Vanguard in the first place, the reason finance weenies love them, is that they don't spend a lot of money on fund managers and just follow the market. So getting involved at all was pretty dumb, though my own research has come up pretty sparse on bad things that they actually do so they probably remain the least bad of the big money companies.

I took badminton as my PE elective in college. I will never view it as a goofball sport ever again. There were Chinese (maybe Japanese, Korean, whatever) guys there that I'm told were on scholarship. No joke. They were incredible. The game was faster than I could keep up with, and then one would tap the top of the net so that the birdie dropped perfectly straight to the floor. It was incredible to watch them play a game that I'd always thought was a joke.

Assuming you've got access underneath the house, let me recommend putting a power outlet underneath. They make covers that will make it a smooth surface to match the floor. There are times that it is handy to have.
