I could do this but I don't feel like it.

I used to do this all the time until it got popular with the "sheeple."

Obviously I can do this but I don't want to look like a girl.

I built one of these but I threw it out because it was dumb.

I'm going to do this this weekend, unless something cool comes up.

I made embedded systems controllers with a figForth burned onto a ROM. I even figured out how to add more words to the dictionary and burn them too so you didn't need to have "storage".

That was the end. The relationship I have not even scratched on. It was worse, much worse. I was overseas in the Army and I would get 3 or 4 letters from her a day that were all from what anyone else would assume were different people. All sorts of crazy.

My father's side is from Arezzo but we didn't learn Italian at home because my mother's side is Irish; and being born in northern Ontario and having been to a French R.C. grade school, my dad spoke French better than his childhood Italian.

At an early job as a young adult one of my co-workers was Italian. When I told him my family was from Arezzo, he quoted IIRC, "Coca-Cola in una cannuccia" to me aspirating the hard-Cs. When I asked him what that was about, he explained it to me just as you have just done.

He was showing us his "efficient" text entry device which was a wire open glove thing where he could hit the 7 characters of the ASCII using his fingers/thumbs and somehow wrist which was even more effective (he said) because you could lift only one finger to enter a character that was close in the code to another.

I agree that he thinks the world is on the verge of big technological achievements but I don't think it's space and I don't think he's so much angry as he is scared.

If AI, a technology he helped pioneer but has since walked away from, is allowed to continue without any control we as a free people are in deep shit. And Musk knows it.

You should be able to find the inner dimensions in the specs, but I suggest spending a little over what you intend and getting an all-clad or a knockoff. $40-80 (or more) depending on your tolerances. You won't ever have to buy another.

I suppose it depends on whether the state's constitution or a law in the state addresses pre-emption (meaning anything below state level can't enact and enforce something either permitted or forbidden by state constitution/law.

Of course, that doesn't prevent punishment by process.

I don't think specs, in general, tell me that. There doesn't seem to be a standard. Near as I can tell, diameter is either outside surface contact or inside diameter at the top of the pan's wall (where the lid sits).

I have Caphalon's version of All-Clad and I'm sorta thinking of using the chicken fryer as a larger skillet.

If you are using it for frying, cast iron is generally recommended because the mass helps maintain proper frying temperatures when adding food to the pan. Lodge is usually recommended, but there are some luxury brands that look quite nice. Stargazer pans make me drool.

If you want non-stick but no questionable coatings, cast iron or carbon steel are good choices once they are seasoned. Carbon steel is lighter. Matfer Bourgeat is very nice.

For multi-purpose stainless steel, AllClad is top choice. They have a sale on imperfects/open box every year that is probably the best deal you can find. Their basic 3-ply performs as well as their fancier stuff.

We have kids/grands in the Charleston area, and have actually been looking at real estate there for over a year. But where they live, it's the hottest sellers' market I've ever seen. And no signs of it cooling off any time soon.

Thank Emmie! My go-to pan is a Griswold #9 (9 1/2" bottom cook surface). I don't like Lodge nor any sand mold cast iron. I like the old school ones where they used a wooden mold and are smooth inside and out. If I luck onto chicken fryer like that for a sane price, yeah.

I really do want a lid that fits and that's hard for cast iron.

The Griswold #9 and Caphalon tri-ply chicken fryer have the same diameter cooking surface. I really want something a couple inches wider. Really tired of cooking in batches just to make a dinner.
