FBI Refuses to Turn Over the Document Accusing Biden of a Bribery Scheme, Defying a Legal Congressional Subpeona

Weird how they constantly leaked negative claims, mostly false, about Trump, but will unconstitutionally defy a Congressional subpoena to protect their Precious Pervert.

House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer and Iowa Republican Sen. Chuck Grassley on Wednesday fumed as the FBI failed to meet a subpoena deadline to provide congressional investigators with a form that allegedly details a bribery scheme between then-Vice President Joe Biden and a foreign national.

The FBI, however, did not honor the subpoena by the deadline. Instead, acting Assistant Director of the bureau's Office of Congressional Affairs Christopher Dunham wrote to Comer on Wednesday, informing him that the bureau had to be mindful of "executive branch confidentiality interests and law enforcement responsibilities."
In the letter, which the New York Post obtained, Dunham informed Comer that "The FBI appreciates this opportunity to inform you of our confidentiality interests so that we can 'seek optimal accommodation through a realistic evaluation of' each other's needs and 'avoid the polarization of disputes.'"
"We are committed to working together through this process," he assured the Kentucky Republican.
Both Comer and Grassley deemed the response unsatisfactory.
"It's clear from the FBI's response that the unclassified record the Oversight Committee subpoenaed exists, but they are refusing to provide it to the Committee," Comer insisted. "We've asked the FBI to not only provide this record, but to also inform us what it did to investigate these allegations."
"The FBI has failed to do both. The FBI's position is 'trust, but you aren't allowed to verify.' That is unacceptable. We plan to follow up with the FBI and expect compliance with the subpoena," he declared.

I believe they also have some powers regarding the lesser courts below the Supreme Court, so they can also affect the Judicial Branch to some degree. Congress is quite powerful if they ever choose to exert their power. Problem is they've ceded most of their power and authority to the other two branches.

This is a worldwide problem--even the Chicoms are over 300 percent debt to GDP and Europe is in the same boat as we are--over 100 percent debt to GDP and growing. A worldwide depression is likely. If the US was something like Argentina, inflating the currency would be the way to go but as we are the reserve currency and many countries are depending on selling their goods to the US to avoid their own depression--they will resist it. So if the US loses reserve currency status, all at once those imported goods (like oil imports) have to be paid for without phoney fiat money. The Fed and Treasury are on a tightrope.

YD, I normally don't like making predictions but the collapse will probably happen less than ten years from now. Then, the question of recovery time is based on whether the collapse is peaceful or war results. If war results, add about ten years to normal financial crisis recovery time of two decades.

I enjoyed the first two, but after that the gameplay is just exactly the same from game to game, just in a different setting with a different bad guy, and the endings keep getting more nonsensical.

Also being forced to find transgender hormone medications in a third-world country wracked by civil war and under the iron fist of a dictator as part of the gameplay is both implausible and just groan-worthy.

331 This is a worldwide problem--even the Chicoms are over 300 percent debt to GDP and Europe is in the same boat as we are--over 100 percent debt to GDP and growing. A worldwide depression is likely. If the US was something like Argentina, inflating the currency would be the way to go but as we are the reserve currency and many countries are depending on selling their goods to the US to avoid their own depression--they will resist it. So if the US loses reserve currency status, all at once those imported goods (like oil imports) have to be paid for without phoney fiat money. The Fed and Treasury are on a tightrope.

The sun is setting on the Dollar as the World Reserve Currency. Every month goes by, and another country negotiates to buy oil, grains, whatever commodity with their own currency or someone else's.
When that happens, all those dollars are going to come home, because no one will want them, and there will be SUCH an inflation. And then the economy really crashes.

And cities. Many of the wealthier people left the cities permanently, as they can work from anywhere, and the top 4-5% of income earners pay about half of the taxes the cities need to run at all.

There are still 2.5 million people in the metro Detroit area. But only about 600,000 poor people still living in Detroit.
They will come in to town to see the Tigers and the Lions, and sometimes the Red Wings, but not so much the Pistons.
