FEAR ME

Wakey wakey scramble eggy.

Four way brawl.

The Gladiator.

The cutest little sneak attack.

"We're playing Silence of the Lambs!"

Two videos in a row, showing how a dog and then a cat respond to being messed with.

Girl on a train.

Teaching the puppeh how to play with a ball.

Corgi welcomes the new puppy.

"All I said was 'does anyone want to go for a walk?'..."

Teaching a fren your sick dance moves.

Beautiful beluga whale kisses a boy.

Some more LIFEHACKS! I like the first one. They used a finishing nail for the demonstration. I wonder if they used a small nail because you couldn't squeeze a bigger nail through wood like that.

I will halp...!

Pyramids and Sphinx from the air.

Now on ESPN 8, the Ocho...

This guy TCOB.

This guy went rockclimbing with his own Batpole. Watch carefully, he actually jumps. Then he uses the poll to decelerate when it comes in contact with the ground, after a tic or two.

I didn't know you could do that. I'm pretty sure you shouldn't.

God just sent this in an email. He writes, "I know I said 'be fruitful and multiply,' but let's calm down here, okay?"

I don't need anything... except this stick... and maybe this stick... and this leaf... and maybe these three sticks... and also this dirt, and the sticks it's clumped to... So that's all I need, this stick, that stick, these other sticks, these leaves and some dirt. And also these other sticks. And that's all I need!

Angel Falls, Venezuela. Venezuela is know for its breathtaking natural beauty, as well as a flourishing kidnap/murder industry. Their new tourism slogan is Wouldn't you rather die among the alpacas?

The painful, bruising "love" of a cat.

You see, the love of a cat is very different than the love of a square.

He'll get there:

Nope, this should be the template for every conservative family. Imagine raising the kids right, most of them should turn out well. Teach them to do the same. That family becomes a small town in a three generations: Gen X, Millennial, Zoomer. Imagine what happens to the demographics if a tsunami of conservative, God-fearing, free families roared into the American culture like that.

It's not common for me to get any feedback unless the client wants more information or, most annoyingly, withholds references they have and then asks why they didn't show up in the results I gave them.

94 Seeing the Sphinx from the top reminds how out of proportion the head is to the rest of the body. Point is, the Egyptians were far too good just to have done that by accident ⁰. To me the best explanation is that it originally had an animal head, possibly a lion, and much later it was carved down to look like a Pharaoh. This goes along with the theory that the Sphinx is 3,000 to 4,000 years older than the Egyptian civilization.

I thought of calling it ‘information,’ but the word was overly used, so I decided to call it ‘uncertainty.’ When I discussed it with [computer scientist, physicist and mathematician] John von Neumann, he had a better idea. Von Neumann told me, ‘You should call it entropy, for two reasons. In the first place your uncertainty function has been used in statistical mechanics under that name, so it already has a name. In the second place, and more important, no one knows what entropy really is, so in a debate you will always have the advantage.’”

my only experience with tofu is in hot and sour soup, which I like a lot.

I make this:
Georgia Brunswick Stew

And I really think tofu would work in it if that's your thing. You probably wouldn't want it in there while it's cooking. Maybe add thin slices to hot soup upon serving.

Very good recipe, though. Spicy as made. I've gotten to where I don't follow the recipe any more and just throw in approximate amounts and whatever is in the fridge.

Jones, 30, has been with the network for several years now and was named the host of Lawrence Jones Cross Country last January.

An insider told Page Six that the decision to have Jones "step up so soon after Tucker’s departure" is "significant," perhaps due to his differing political viewpoints from many of his conservative colleagues.

If they are for fodder they have to be cooked to break down the seed and to get rid of the toxins.
If you sprout them they do that themselves, mostly, but they still should be at least blanched.
Most shell beans must be cooked for that reason.

Don't eat soybeans raw, they aren't good for you and you won't enjoy them.

Maybe, but I'm just posting what I was told by smart old farmers when I was a kid and what I've watched happen my whole life. Is the observation tainted? Maybe. Is it chance? Possibly. But I've still seen it enough to wonder what drives that compulsion. I always thought it might be stress-driven, similar to the way my border collie could feel/hear it and would hide under the bed to signal a storm was coming.

This also was in the land of routine tornadoes, so the weather itself might have some influence on the behavior. No mere drizzle, but a potential impromptu steak delivery service.

somewhere a little north of Quincy, IL on 96 (Lima?) ... off to the side of the road is a tombstone for a famous Angus Bull. ... fifteen years ago a guy that had cattle at my little place had sperm in a frozen nitrogen thang in my garage, to artificially inseminate his cows. ... not sure how it worked out.

The "designer cow" things was a fad, but Angus were more dependable at breeding, plus they have the marketing advantage of a "name brand".

A different neighbor had some cows that "beefed up" faster, but I tried to help get one up that lost her calf and then died, and he went back to Angus.

This was discussed here a year or so ago. 253 "Lots of phytoestrogens in soybeans." Posted by: nurse ratched

from what I read, the "soy boy" thing is useful politically as an attack against the leftist Thang. BUT the actual content of phytoestrogens is generally overstated.

"Soybeans contain naturally occurring plant compounds called isoflavones, which are a class of phytoestrogens. Most people assume that phytoestrogens promote estrogen activity in the body but in reality, phytoestrogens act as inhibitors of estrogen receptors.

This is because phytoestrogens bind to the same receptors as estrogen. However, phytoestrogens have a significantly weaker effect compared to estrogen. Thus, the activity of your body’s estrogen is essentially blocked by the phytoestrogens occupying the estrogen receptors."

idk the real science, but that is my current "limited understanding"

266 If they would just make a continuous loop of the engine room scenes, burn that onto a DVD and sell it, I would buy that scene. I'm a big fan of triple-expansion reciprocating steam engines. Form over function.

Youtube has really really long loops of engine room noise. Pick your engine! Very soothing.

Thanks! That should have occurred to me. Did not know that the engine rooms scenes were from a Liberty ship, with catwalks and smaller workers added to modify the scale. Saved for future viewing.

Posted by: Blanco Basura - Z28.310 at April 28, 2023 09:19 PM (Bd6X

if they cede the 8 pm hour to other networks, no one hangs around to watch the 9 pm hour, and nobody tunes in early and watches the 7 pm hour.

doesn't anybody there even know how to play this game?

I have no clue if the Jets won their series. I love hockey, but I almost never keep up. Looking like the Avalanche might lose to the Kraken. Eh. You know, whatever.

I have a really cool Winnepeg Jets ball cap. I love the logo. And I love the Jets fan base.
