The polarizing marketing partnership between beer giant Bud Light and trans influencer Dylan Mulvaney was launched without approval from senior executives of parent company Anheuser-Busch (AB), according to a new report.

That claim comes despite the attention on Bud Light's VP of marketing, Alissa Heinerscheid, for her remarks in an interview days before the Mulvaney partnership, saying she wanted to trade the brand's 'fratty' reputation for 'inclusivity'.
But according to an insider cited by the Daily Wire, the partnership was undertaken by 'some low-level marketing staffer who helps manage the hundreds of influencer engagements they do.

Not sure of your exact age range, Ace, but it's been going on a lot longer than that. Back in the day when Phil Donahue was still a thing during the Carter years, Carter had a bunch of womens lib types and an Army colonel on his show.

This was back when Carter was going to put women into combat and then when everybody had a fit about it, he had to settle for letting them go into jump school and get their Airborne wings. $60,000 of taxpayer money per female.

The colonel was going on about how women just aren't as strong as men when it comes to what's needed in combat and mentioned a situation in which a fellow soldier was wounded and had to be carried out by one of his friends and the fact that the average female couldn't pick up the average man and still fight.

The women on the show sat right there and told him that in that case one female soldier could grab him under the arms and another female soldier to grab him by his legs and they could get him out of there.

The colonel looked like he was having an aneurysm.

I've been seeing huge pushback from athletic women about Dylan's Nike social media post. Finally. Women have been trying to get things like the phrase "punch like a girl" or "fight like a girl" turned on its head for decades. Nike letting an Audrey Hepburn poser with no chest advertise sports bras, acting like Jim Carrey in the SNL skit, does them no favors.
