All passwords now I generate with a true random password generator. It's a bitch, you can't remember them, store them somewhere, like hard copy.

There are a number of websites that have true random password generators, using various quantum noise sources.

15 A very simple, handy and reliable password source.

Your remote to your TV or Cable box is likely on the table next to your elbow, amiright? Yeah, I'm right.

Pick it up, and note the model number or patent number.

There's your password.

No one is going to guess that "it's right there", but it's Right There. You don't gotta write it down, either.

Only thing is, you might need your 3x readers to READ the damn thing. Being 29, and all that.

"Password" story of Young Richard Feynman, working on the Manhattan Project. He was something of prankster. Now, they had safes with Secure Combinations. Big Fucking Deal physicists like Bohr and others would set combinations.

They thought they were clever. Coming up with combination sequences no one could every figure out, 'cause they were so smart.

Young Dick Feynman cracked a bunch of them. How? He knew how they thought. He knew what they thought would be the cleverest mathematical derivation of a password they would come up with.

He left "Dick was here" messages in these highly Secure Safes.

my experience with Faraday shielding leads me to think that they are not fully effective if not grounded ... I am thinking a lead to the body metal of your truck, at minimum, while traveling.
walking around, I dunno, wear conductive (anti-static) footwear, and ... ? an antistatic wrist-strap connected to the copper box? would make a high-resistance path to ground, but a path nonetheless.

passive absorption can work, I remember a shield room that besides the bonded and grounded outer shell was lined with thick ferrite tiles, which were then faced with conductive foam cones (it was also anechoic). A ferrite box would probably weigh 5+ pounds, though, not exactly practical.

pleas keep us updated with your results; watching with interest as someone performs real science!

55 >GraphQL is bad if you don't need it but implement it anyway using unsuitable tools.

I remain unconvinced GraphQL is good for anything but a very small number of use cases, and I find many of the arguments in that article compelling - for instance "don't make architectural decisions to save a few milliseconds or bytes".

I do think implementing a GraphQL server in JavaScript is ridiculous since there are no multithreaded JavaScript runtimes and JavaScript's a dumpster fire of an ecosystem anyway. I think a GraphQL server implemented in something like .NET has a lot more to recommend it.
