Speaking of being tired of cartoons and superheroes, Warner Bros. goes to the bottom of the barrel for a character no one really likes, the third incarnation of Blue Beetle.

So the character is just Cyborg again -- a minority teenager who gets an upgrade from alien technology which sometimes conflicts with his human will.

And Cyborg is lame.

And also, they give the suit the power to "make anything you can imagine." Congratulations, you just also stepped all over Green Lantern.

Yes that's the kid from Cobra Kai. I like him. But I don't like the dirtbag racist George Lopez, who seems to have a co-starring role.

Warner Bros. continues destroying their own brand by having George Lopez announce that their most popular and lucrative character, Batman, "is a fascist."

67 I'm a big Nicholas Cage fan so yeah, of course I'm watching 'Renfield', which looks like silly fun. It's also nice to see Cage doing bigger-budget Hollywood films again. As weird as it sounds, I worried about the guy, who lost most of his money several years ago due to a shady manager and started taking any script offered.

His most memorable role? My vote goes to Red Miller in 'Mandy', which is hands-down one of the most bizarre and over-the-top flicks I've ever seen. Cage was awesomely emotive. He said in an interview he was trying to mimic the body language of silent films in that movie and it makes for a surreal visual experience.

Murder mystery with terrible dialog and action. And just goofy Twister-like conclusion.
BONUS! You get to see nearly every square inch of Jane March's nekkid body. It's real and it's spectacular.
Oh, and for the ladies, some nekkidish Bruce Willis.

Cage takes on so many weirdo roles that you forget just how good of an actor he is-

He is great in "Frozen Ground" streaming on Prime, where he plays an FBI agent hunting down a serial killer of young women. Very subtle and deliberate .

As this is based on a true crime spree, I think they were trying to make this as "real life" as they could.
The photos of the victims at the end is very grim.

Nice procedural drama. Good tension. Great acting all around. An actor I hate, John Cusack actually does a great job as well,

Definitely recommended even for you Nicholas Cage haters.

It makes for good story telling as you follow a character that is traumatized and human, makes mistakes but tries to grow from that and overcome his demons

That's one of the premises of the Gotham television show. We get to see Batman as a teenage adolescent, trying to come to grips with something he barely understands and then seeing how he develops into the Dark Knight we all know and love. He makes a lot of mistakes along the way. The last shot in the show is of him returning to Gotham after a hiatus, wearing the suit, watching over the city.

Everybody was great in that. The movie went nowhere but I think a big part of that was because women coming to see the movie for handsome, boyish movie Star Brad Pitt got -

342 I saw the trailer for Renfield in front of John Wick 4 last weekend and I got the impression that Dracula isn't going to be a big part of the story. Could be that was just trailer editing, but I don't need to spend 90+ minutes of my life watching another pair of millenials dealing with workplace and dating issues.
